Hello everyone and I hope you are all doing well. So it turns out I have been thinking about playing around with one of my cars for a while now and among some adjustments on my exhaust. Yeah, typical car guy thing but you know if you have a car with a HEMI V8, man you just can't knock the beautiful sound of that V8 growl. Not being an exhaust expert myself, I spoke to William at 954 Mufflers on what my options were and he provided me with a few options at various price points. Seeing as I wanted the exhaust tone to be a little more aggressive but not be annoying on long trips, we opted to swap out my factory mufflers for a couple of Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers; also, swapped out my OEM chrome exhaust tips for a pair of gloss black exhaust tips. Total cost out the door was $975 parts and labor, which from my perspective was a great deal. These guys and gals at 954 Mufflers are not messing around. They know their business and it shows. While I was there I was seeing them get cars done efficiently and professionally. It was basically a master class in how an exhaust shop should run and it was great to watch people work that know what they are doing. No rushing, just making sure that it all gets done to the best of their ability. Their excellent customer service starts over the phone when you call them all the way through getting the work done. All the staff that works at this shop is on point and knows what they are doing. Whether you need work done on a Mercedes GT63 or a Chrysler 300 and everything in between, these guys have got you covered. So you are probably wondering, Nelson so how does your exhaust sound man? Great question, simply amazing! Exactly what I wanted. Williams recommendation was spot on! Quick tip.... Make sure that if you are getting some work done that you take whatever parts you want to keep with you immediately or at least let them know you will pick it up so they can store it in the back for you. If not, well the parts will be picked up by metal scrappers and they will be gone, so let them know either way. So long story short, this business definitely knows what they are doing. If you are looking to get some professional exhaust work done on your vehicle I am sure that they will do a great job. Stumbled across this place from a Google search. I just DIY installed a Borla axle back exhaust, catted down pipes, and a cold air intake. Definite performance improvement, but I hated the way it sounded. Very raspy at 3,000 rpm so while looking for a solution, I stumbled across 954 mufflers. They close at six. I showed up at 5 o'clock and met Alex. Actually, I met a whole crew of their guys. Everyone was very very experienced, and from what I read online this is a performance shop where if you walked in there with an issue, you just tell them what the problem is and they know the answer. And that was 100% correct. They installed a magnaflow muffler on the mid pipe and that's all it took the raspiness that was driving me crazy is gone and they did it right then and there. I was in and out. They cut the mid-pipe and welded it in place flawlessly. Could not speak more highly about this shop. I will be back 100% and I'll be recommending this place to anyone who has any issues with exhaust or muffler related issues. read more

Wanted to get a muffler delete on two of my new vehicles (Infiniti Q-50 & Ford Explorer both are Twin Turbos ) to enhance, the performance, the sonic signature, and the look. Went in to this popular muffler shop, and the staff was able to make some nice recommendations to achieve all my muffler upgrades. I appreciate that they gave me guidance on getting a exhaust system, that would not produce a high drone pitch in the interior cabin as I drive down the highway. The exhaust system with Flowmaster Quad tips has a nice subtle meaty low rumble, not a annoying bunch of obnoxious noise. Service is quick, friendly. Prices are reasonable value. read more

Very nice first time experience. Before going to Mufflers I was informed that I need a catalytic converter replacement. A what?? Anyway, I googled to see who performs the service and saw Mufflers had great reviews, and I learned why. I was immediately addressed inquiring about my concerns by the nice young lady who handles the payments. The wait time to get my car serviced was minimal. After inspecting my vehicle, the gentleman informed me that I could opt to replace the frontal catalytic converter or just remove the secondary converter which was likely causing the issue of loss of power. Hmmm. $900+ or $150. I went with the latter and I haven't had issues since. That kind of service is the best! He didn't try to swindle me or take advantage of me. He presented the facts, gave me options, and allowed me to make my own informed decision. Undoubtedly a 5 star service. read more

I normally go to Miami Muffler as I also live down south but once I heard about 954 Mufflers from a friend that recommend me I was not let down. I was coming to install Skunk2 Alpha Header and an Apexi WS2 exhaust. They told me they don't normally do headers on the weekends but said to swing by and they got me covered no worries. On top of the fact that the staff is absolutely amazing, their knowledge on cars in general is more than I've seen at muffler shops. I always feel more comfortable going to a shop where it's beyond 'what they do'. I also have air suspension so they had to custom pipe to the side in order for it to not rub on the airbag itself. 954 Mufflers honestly is my new go to place ! I have utilized their services before when they were near the Hollywood Fashion Mall. Based on my prior experience, I sought them out to replace the exhaust system on my 1990 300zx: cat back magnaflow 2.25 inch muffler, stainless pipes with Vibrant ultra quiet resonators. As soon as I left the shop, I heard a loud droning noise inside the cabin at 2000-3000 rpm. I immediately returned and the installer rode and listened. I agreed to see if it would go away eventually, but it did not. I returned a few months later with the same problem. The installer put the car on a rack and told me that was why I had the Vibrant resonators and there was nothing they could do. $1800 and I no longer enjoy my vehicle. The droning noise is horrible. read more

Big thank you to 954 Mufflers for their excellent job on my Chevy 1500. We installed a new catback Borla S-Type muffler with a Y pipe to split a rear exit duel exhaust. They were able to order the part for me and bend their custom pipes to make my truck go from single side exit, to rear duel exit. It sounds incredible! John, the owner, reassured me on the job, walked me through their process, showed me the pipes, ordered the muffler directly from the manufacturer and even showed me several other similar jobs to put my mind at ease. Him and his team even took into account that i haul a trailer for my job site. They strategically bent the pipes to run over my chassis so that I wouldn't have issues with the pipes hitting anything or going over speed bumps. The job was completed quickly, without any delays or issues, and the service team did a great job at talking over the process with me so I knew what was going on.
