2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU with 3" Teraflex lift kit.
    Mario V.

Having just moved here from Los Angeles I was nervous in finding a good qualified shop to work on my Jeep. Can't say enough about the crew at Karnage. Will and Nick were extremely professional and they absolutely understand Jeeps. From mild to wild, they deal with it all. I told them what my vision was and they never tried to upsell me on anything I didn't need. They perform a multipoint inspection before performing any work and were fast and efficient with the install of my Teraflex 3" lift kit. Service like this is hard to come by. Definitely coming back to Karnage for all the rest of the goodies I plan on doing.

The rock sliders karnage motorsports installed on my truck.

Karnage Motorsports was able to install some RCI Bolt on Rock Sliders on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Off-Road w/Long Bed in two days at a very fair price. The installers were very careful and respectful not to scratch the exterior paint on my brand new truck while installing the sliders and they did very good work BUT they scratched up the interior plastics on the bottom of the drivers side door while getting in the truck with their shoes, they scratched the drivers side door on the side (the plastic part) with something that left a round white mark on the plastic panel on the drivers side door, and they left dirt/dust all over the drivers seat, front passengers seat, center console, and on the bottom of the drivers side door. The main reasons why I gave them a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 are because: 1) They drilled holes into the frame of my truck BEFORE asking my permission if I wanted to do drilling or not, with some vehicle companies if you drill into the frame it may void your warranty and the vehicle was a 2020 (the newest available right now). I understand why they drilled the holes (for added strength) but the installation instructions said that on the 2017+ models that 2 of the holes might be missing but they can be drilled for added strength or left without any drilling and that it wouldnt affect the strength of the installation, as the owner of the vehicle I think I should have been consulted before the drilling was made but since I was only told after it had already happened I had no choice but to accept it and carry on. 2) The installer welded the frame cross member backing plates on to the truck, nowhere in the instructions does it say to weld them (the instructions say its supposed to be held in place by a bolt instead of welding) and different rock slider companies use different hardware to install their sliders so if I want to change my current rock sliders for a different companies product in the future the hardware might not be compatible. I understand why they did it (for added strength) but it makes things more permanent and if I wanted permanent I would have gone with welded rock sliders instead of bolt on rock sliders. I was partly at fault for allowing this to happen because the installer told me he had planned on welding them on the first day and I didnt think much of it because they were about to close the store for the day, I tried to call them the next day as soon as they opened to tell them not to weld the piece on there but the installer had come into work 30 minutes before they opened and had already welded the piece on the passengers side so I told them "well I guess its too late now, might as well do the same thing on the drivers side so that both sides are installed the same way". 3) While the shop took care not to scratch the exterior paint on the truck they did scratch the door plastic panels on the inside of the drivers side door with their shoes while climbing inside the truck and they left a circular white mark on the plastic part panel on the drivers side door that wouldnt clean off with water and a microfiber towel, maybe they hit it with an object when they had the door open. The drivers side was full of dirt/dust, the center console was full of dirt/dust, and the front passengers seat was also full of dirt/dust when the shop returned the truck to me and I had turned it into them totally clean before they started working on it. When I got my truck and I saw the rock sliders and the quality of their installation work I was satisfied overall. I even checked to see if there were any plastic covers missing and everything was in place where it was supposed to be after the sliders were installed. Karnage Motorsports does decent work but they should be more respectful to ask the customer first before doing things to a customers vehicle that cant be reversed after its done (like drilling or welding) and the shop should be more careful when working on vehicles not to hit the interior plastic panels with their shoes or objects while they have the vehicle doors open thats why I gave them a 4/5.

I brought my brand new Jeep Wrangler, JK to get customized by Karnage about two years ago. Ive been taking my jeep there ever since! Will and the staff are so welcoming! Will is full of so much knowledge and will help you customize and make decisions on your jeep depending on what YOUR going to use it for. Not only do they build the best looking jeeps in miami, but they also get the work done in a decent time frame! I've moved to Orlando about a year ago and I still drive my jeep to Miami to get it serviced and upgraded by Karnage Motorsports. I think that says a lot! BEST 4X4/JEEP SHOP HANDS DOWN!!!!

Disappointed With Follow-Up and Customer Service…read more I hired Illumine Mobile Mechanics LLC to install AMP power step boards on my 2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty. I wanted to support a young business owner and give him an opportunity. Carlos was polite during the scheduling process, and the installation appointment was set for April 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The labor charge was $335. My concern is not only the installation itself, but the lack of follow-up after the job. Shortly after the installation, I noticed that the lights for the power steps were not working. I contacted Carlos and let him know. His response was that it was "extremely common" for those lights not to work and that everything had been installed correctly. He said he could come check it, but because I was not going to be home that day, I told him not to make a special trip and to stop by the next time he was in the area. He never followed up or came back to look at the issue. Later, the power steps stopped working properly. One step stayed in the lowered position, while the other would not retract correctly, and the system stopped functioning as it should. When I contacted Carlos and asked if he could take a look, he told me it would require a $95 diagnostic fee. I was disappointed because I had already reported an issue with the installation right after the work was completed, and that issue was never checked. Carlos pointed out that it had been one month and 19 days since the installation, which was accurate. However, the original concern was reported immediately after the install, and there was no follow-through. I have also used Carlos for other work on my Ford F-250, including a difficult radio installation. That job was eventually completed by someone else because it required more specific expertise. I did not hold that against him because I understand some installs can become more complex than expected. However, with the power step boards, my concern is the lack of follow-up and customer service. I believe this is a teachable moment for a young business owner. Skill matters, but follow-through matters just as much. When a customer reports a problem immediately after an installation, the business should make a reasonable effort to inspect the work before charging another diagnostic fee. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Illumine Mobile Mechanics LLC for this type of installation. If you decide to use this business, understand that you may not receive the follow-up or customer support you expect if something goes wrong after the job.

I have dealt with a lot of mechanic shops over the years and I know how this industry works. Trust is not something that comes easily when it comes to car repairs. But the moment I started working directly with Joe, I knew I was dealing with someone different. Joe is the definition of honest. Straightforward, transparent, and truly focused on helping the customer instead of just running up a bill. The situation with my car was not simple. It was actually a very complicated issue that could have easily turned into a stressful and expensive nightmare. Instead, they handled everything with professionalism and confidence and made something extremely complex feel like an absolute breeze. What impressed me the most was the integrity. They explained everything clearly, walked me through the process, and made sure I understood exactly what was happening. That level of transparency is something you almost never see anymore. Because of this experience, this will not only be the place I bring my personal vehicle. I will also be bringing my entire fleet of ten vehicles here moving forward. When you find people you can truly trust in the automotive world, you stick with them. Finding an honest mechanic today feels like finding a needle in a haystack. This place is the real deal. If you want a shop that is professional, trustworthy, and genuinely looking out for your best interest, I could not recommend Lake's Auto center more.
