To reach live human at Lufthansa Airlines call 1|855|803|3037 (US) and reach 'Customer Service directly' at any time. This 24/7 toll-free 'phone' line provides real-time guidance for new reservations, ticket changes, rebooking, cancelations, and general passenger inquiries, helping you manage your trip with ease. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the experience my family and I endured on our scheduled flight on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. This was, without question, the worst travel experience we have ever had--with unacceptable delays, poor communication, and a complete lack of proper support for passengers, especially those traveling with children. Our ordeal began when we boarded the aircraft and taxied to the runway, only for the plane to abruptly slow down and return. We remained seated on the plane for over 3 hours, during which we received conflicting and increasingly concerning updates: 1. After one hour: "We need to refuel since we were on the ground too long." 2. After another hour: "We are having engine problems." 3. After yet another hour: "We will switch you to a different aircraft." 4. Finally, it was announced the flight would be delayed until the next day, and that we would be taken to a hotel for the night. We had two small children with us, and being confined on the plane for three hours with no food, no clear updates, and no solution was both exhausting and distressing. The situation worsened once we deplaned. I told the service desk representative that I could not continue walking long distances, as we had already been up and down stairs multiple times. They said they would arrange for a cart to transport us through the airport--but we were left waiting for an hour. When the cart finally arrived, I was told no children were allowed, so we were forced to walk across the airport yet again--hungry, tired, and unsupported. To make matters worse, the real reason for the delay was only revealed the next day: "Customs in St. Louis was closed." Why was this not communicated from the start, instead of inventing mechanical issues and excuses? This entire experience reflects an alarming level of disorganization, poor internal communication, and disregard for passenger well-being. My family and I lost a full day, were subject to physical and emotional strain, and received no proper assistance despite our clear need for it. stay 27 hours in franfurt with lufthansa

I'm happy that STL has a direct fight to Europe again! I'm old enough that I remember the last time this was true, as I flew American to/from LGW late-summer 2003, during the final few months of that route. I also was happy to arrive at FRA, where we have previous experience taking the ICE-Bahn to Berlin. Did you know that you can book a train ticket through the Lufthansa website? The trains are faster than five years ago, so it's a great option for getting to your final destination. My only significant complaint is related to seat comfort. In Europe we will fly business class. But, traveling across the ocean, premium economy saves so much money! We had plenty of room, but for some strange reason, the horizontal portion of the actual seat in this Airbus A330-300 was so hard that eventually I had to sit on a pillow to get relief. Compared to our experience on LOT Airlines (from Chicago) in pre-pandemic times, I'm sorry to say the Lufthansa seat (and the food, too) really was a step downward. What did I think of the rest of the experience? Check-in went slowly, and the flight departed an hour late. Given the heat of the day, and desire to keep passengers from lingering too long in the jetway, this was ok by me. The airline staff was relatively friendly, given all the stress they must be feeling this summer. The previously requested gluten-free meal for Therese H. was was handled perfectly, without confusion. Thanks to all who helped bring Lufthansa to STL. I sincerely hope this direct-flight-to-Europe experiment becomes permanent.

Email from Shivani Rustagi telling me I'll get reimbursed. He ghosted me shortly thereafter.

The ability to use iMessage and WhatsApp for free once I connected to the in-flight WiFi was a bonus. My primary reason for giving Southwest Airlines only 2 stars is because of this airline's pricing tactics and in my experience, non-existent customer service. I went on Southwest's website and found flights I wanted, only to get an error when I attempted to book and pay. When I immediately tried to re-book just seconds later, the price per ticket for the same itinerary had increased significantly. Southwest customer service was no help when I contacted them, and replied to my messages with seemingly pre-written and "canned" responses that didn't actually address my reason for reaching out.

Getting through check in is fast and easy. The gate agents, ticket agents, flight attendants and customer service representatives are always nice and polite. There are only a couple of gates, so the security line moves very quickly and there's usually only 1 or 2 flights leaving around the same time, so there's like 100 people at the airport total! We flew out and back for the holidays and our stress level was next to nothing. (Which, if you know us, is like, amazing.) I'm from a small western city and am used to these smaller places that have only the basics and get the job done. Not every place needs to be Minneapolis. (IYKYK) But if you've never been to an airport like this, it might elicit a giggle or at least a smile because of its size. That said, it's updated and clean and bright. Plenty of stalls in the ladies room (go to the left! There's more stalls over there!) So easy, so clean and simple. I liked it a lot more than the hustle over at Lambert. Downsides: not much to eat or browse, but it's not nothing. There's a small magazine/snack/gum store. There's no Starbucks or other name-brands, but there is a nice little cafe and a good staff making hot breakfast sandwiches or grilled cheeses or lattes. But c'mon, if you're flying a discount airline are you really concerned about the brand of coffee? Anyway, 4 shiny stars.

Allegiant is a decent airline to fly though. Yes, you have to pay for everything, but it's no different from other airlines and whenever I do a cost comparison with other airlines, it always turns out to be cheaper, even if it's a few dollars. They have done a lot of constructions to the airport of the years and the terminals are just so much nice. The security line is usually quick and the TSA agents are actually quite friendly. Parking is super cheap if you have to leave your car there for a few days. The best part is that whenever I go to pick up or drop off people, I can park my car to walk inside with people and then leaving is usually free since they offer 3 hour or less parking for free! I love being able to greet my family or friends when they arrive in the baggage claim area and I think it's great to drop people off and say goodbye at the security line. Overall, this is always going to be my top choice for an airport/airline.
