We have been going to Margarita's for a couple years now. The food is good, minus a few mixup's. The lighting is a little too low for to see the menu, more for a romantic setting. I usually get the House special, Margarita salad, or Ceviche de la casa. All are good, but the prices are getting too high. Most of the service is great. I order the whole fish. After eating about two bites, I saw the hair at the fin. I pointed it out and reminded the server to be more careful in the future. The server was nice and offer the new one. But, the manager did not allow it because it's already eaten. Then, I didn't want to eat anymore and want the refund. That manager still didn't allow the full refund. I'm originally from Warner Robins and moved down to Tampa several years ago. One of the main things I miss about Middle Georgia is the amazing Mexican food. I struggle finding the same flavors and quality down in Tampa. Every time I visit Georgia, Mexican is on the menu! Margaritas is an excellent option as all of their ingredients are fresh, the interior is nicely decorated and it never gets too terribly busy. Awful service today 6/3/23 always loved this place. Ordered dip and margarita. Dip came out we had the free chip basket they bring out when you first come in that was about 20 Minutes or so before we ordered the dip so we only had about 5 chips left in the basket. waiter walked by 3 times never asked if we needed chips. About 10 Minutes go by dip is now less than hot. We finally are able to flag him down and I said we need chips he was short with me and said hang on I am getting you chips you just finished them. I was like no it was empty when you brought the dip Then the waiter walks off and says "please God kill me" I don't know if he had a race problem or issue that we only ordered a pitcher and dip or he was just busy but this is not the level of service I expect from this establishment. I was not rude I saw he was busy and waited patiently but as the customer my dip was getting cold and I feel he should have brought chips with the dip and/or recognized that we were very low on chips and just came back through OR at minimum tell us his plan to bring the chips after checking on other table. Service workers if you don't like your job or dealing with the public seek new employment there are too many Mexican restaurants in HOCO to choose from. The Restaurant is beautiful and modern. The seats are firm yet cushiony and all the tables are thick granite. The food portion are nice and enough for leftovers but kind of bland. I had the Margaritas fajitas for two and there is still enough for a dinner. The salsa is Wonder and not to hot but still had heat and the chips are the nice thin kind. The service was slow and inattentive but eventually got all my fixings like tortillas and rice and beans. It was nice to sit in the restaurant and eat again. Now back out to the country. read more

I never do bad reviews, but here we go. I go to the bar to place a to go order. Restaurant isn't super busy, around 5 tables. I get to the bar. There's one couple already there eating and the bartender. She talks to the couple, looks at me and walks off. No hey, you need a menu or I'll be right with you. She's gone for at least ten minutes, meanwhile I'm hanging at be bar...still waiting on a menu or acknowledgement. Everyone walks past several times, including the manager. Again, no one acknowledges me or asked if I've been helped. Mind you the bartender has been back to the bar at least 3 times by now....and apparently I'm still invisible. 15 min go by and I have to stop a server and ask for a menu. I was given the menu, and waited another 5/6 minutes for someone to FINALLY acknowledge me and ask if I needed help. Finally put in my order. There's an older woman that comes to bar and within in minutes she was asked by several people if she'd been helped. Seconds later, a gentleman sits down. Same thing, he's greeted within seconds and asked if he'd been helped. Where was that urgency and hospitality when it came to me? I'm very disappointed in how I was treated/overlooked. Don't call Especially for curbside pickup, which the employee that finally answered told me that they don't do - it's on their website. Don't call on the phone to order at the Watson Blvd location. I called and called to a busy line many many times. I even called the manager at the Hwy 96 location and complained between calls. I was on the phone for a total of 25 minutes on 2 separate calls on HOLD. On the first call someone picked up and I could here them talking about some girl problems and they wouldn't respond. On the second call the employee that finally answered was ticked that I complained about being on hold for a long time. He said that there were only 2 people working besides himself and they don't like to take phone orders! Strip Mall Mexican. 3.75 stars would be more accurate assessment. My team has been to Warner Robins metro area a few times lately, and we've hit a couple of Mexican joints. Plus side included endless chips, good salsa (ask for the hot stuff) and a decent queso dip. Dishes including my fajitas had mucho savor. Also, big beers. On the minus side... I like a little sizzle with my fajitas. These despite the great flavor had a "steam table quality" like they were waiting to be ordered instead of fired up fresh. Not because of the SLAMMIN (yes, had to use the old school lingo) fajita nachos, but because their peach margarita is like the best I've ever put to my lips. I mean just extra deliciouso. Literally the worst customer service ever. Every single time we go or get take out we have issues.

The wait time was mad long, we ordered to go. It seemed like no one wanted to take our order im guessing it was bc we were black. The people working at the bar are super unsanitary some guy put his hand in the drink he was making. i also saw another guy pull out a red platter that chips go in and put it back on his lil cart. he didnt wash it or clean it. the girl that we was supposed to pay literally just left the card on the counter unattended. I ordered special nachos and churros with ice cream. the churros were good and fresh. the nachos were bad. they barely had any queso on it. the pieces of lettuce were huge. the chips were thin so they turned to mush. i couldnt even pick them up using my hands. i had to use a fork to eat nachos. never eating here again. read more

Came here with some friends for Cinco de Mayo. Great specialty pricing on drinks to help celebrate. Our server Jessica was the sweetest, making sure we were taken care of and that our orders were right and exactly how we wanted things. She was attentive and we never had to wait for anything we asked for-she was on top of it immediately. I ordered an appetizer platter that had poppers, quesadillas, wings, and cheese sticks. The wings are HOT-be warned! I wasn't expecting the heat. For my entree I ordered a shredded chicken chimichanga platter. Sooooo yummy! Perfectly made and incredibly delicious. I don't ask for a lot in life. I just ask when I place a to go order that I not be forgotten about until the food's been sitting on the bar going cold for 20 minutes. That's all I ask. EDIT: Changing my review from two stars to one as I had the same exact problem where I went in to place a to go order and the food went cold because no one went to get my food when it was done. The manager here should be ashamed of running a place where all the workers are literally sitting around talking (I came in at 4), and not one of them thought to check on my food. I finally asked the lady who took my order, after 30 minutes, if my food was ready and she said "oh yeah!" like she completely forgot about it. I got a beef tostada (half the meat was raw and it was all unseasoned) , chill relleno (the peice of bell pepper they gave me was smaller than my pinky finger) the rice and beans were okay, but the quesadilla was very greasy and the cheese didn't melt all the way. I judge EVERY restaurant that claims to be Mexican by the portion of their menu that DOESNT have a number next to it. Combination plates are NOT Mexican food...they are Mexican-like food to appease the non-Hispanic masses. While in town for work, I rolled up in here and ordered the Chilaquiles off their menu, that's my MO...if this plate is on your menu, I'm gonna test it. The ingredients were fresh but the dish was very bland. No spices, seasonings, etc. the rice was very good and fresh. The salsathat came with the chips was very good and fresh and had a nice kick, slightly more spicy than most Mexican restaurants serve which I liked. I sat at the bar cause I didn't realize it was cinco de mayo (perhaps cause it's not a real Mexican holiday) and the place was crazy packed. Service was excellent and responsive. Excellent authentic Mexican food. I had the Mushroom Chicken with melted cheese, rice and lettuce/sour cream. The chicken was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Combo'ed with the rice and salad was a great fit. My only improvement would be more white melted cheese! I probably should have ordered more. Call to let them know that it was burnt " they told me they would remake it By 2:00 pm today and come pick it up". The first time I visited this Margarita's, the weather was very cold. But inside, it was warm, the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and late 90s alternative music played on the speakers. I was hooked. The queso fundido is one of the best apps I've had - a skillet with warm cheese, chorizo, and nopales. It comes with soft tortillas and fixin's as well. I have not had a dish here that wasn't delicious. For me, my favorite is the grilled fish tacos, which I get extra well done with cabbage, cilantro, jalapeños, limes, and chipotle sauce. Simply the best! The music might not be 9os alternative every time, but the food is always amazing and I'm always greeted with a warm smile and exceptional service. read more

Horrific service, was served water in a filthy glass, took 20 min for server to appear. She repeatedly forgot our orders and served the wrong drinks. I had to get up and find silverware for us, as service was nowhere to be found. Hostess's personal phone had an alarm that was loudly going off at the host's stand for 30 min. It took an hour and 15 min for food. We spoke with the manager we offered a discount, which we didn't want. If you want good Mexican in WR, there's plenty of spots--just not this one. THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD FOR GROUPS!!! They won't have the courtesy to just turn you away, so take it from my experience: if there are more than 4 people in your party, dine elsewhere. A ladies group I'm a part of at church decided to meet here for dinner. None of us had been to this location of the local chain, so we were excited to try it & spend time together. We arrived at 6pm to a bustling restaurant, as expected for a Saturday night. We were assured that our 10-member party would be seated in 20 minutes. Since it was busy, we let it slide to around 30 minutes. All while we're waiting, parties are exiting as new parties of 2-5 are quickly & easily seated. We're never offered menus or even water while we wait, but we're being patient...Saturday night & all. Then, everything changed at the 45 minute mark when we had to ask for the status of our table & they suddenly weren't sure when we could be seated. What?!? If there had ever been any real plan to seat us, a manager or hostess could have checked in on us. We were literally seated right in front of the hostess stand waiting FOR AN HOUR!! We could have been seated at tables that were in close proximity to each other, & told of the possibilities upon arrival. It's like they wanted us to just leave ... so we did! Bottom line: HORRIBLE customer service experience. Put a bitter taste in my mouth, and we didn't even get to the table! Speaking for several of us, that's 9 women that had bad experiences & have families that will likely never return! They're too close (walking distance) to other dining options where we've had much better experiences for us to choose to dine here again in the future. read more

the food here is always amazing its just the workers. our host was extremely quiet she just put the menus down and walked away before we ever sat down. im not sure what the servers name was but he was a skinnier guy with long brown hair and a mustache he wasnt very friendly, he didnt say much. it took him about 10-15 minutes to get our drinks refilled after they were empty, everytime we said thank you he just turned around and walked away. i work in a restaurant aswell so im completely aware of how things should go, i would give him the benefit of the doubt if it was busy and he was stressed out but there was barely any guests he just seemed like he wasnt a very joyful person . read more

Not from the area, but I was wanting Mexican food. I read a review on yelp, and I decided to try this place out. As soon as I walked in, I was so confused the decor and music did not match any Mexican restaurant I've ever been in. I normally don't judge a place by the decor as I've been in too many hole in the wall restaurants; however, this place really threw me for a loop. The restaurant was not too busy for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The salsa was so-so to me. Nothing memorable. When I first looked at the menu, I was thinking man this restaurant is having an identity crisis with the mixed up decor and the menu seemed more American-Mexican than Mexican. So, I honestly was not expecting anything great. I know I shouldn't be too judgemental, but I was. I ordered the enchiladas rancheras expecting a mediocre dish. Thankfully, my expectations were exceeded, and the flavor of the pork was great in combination with the enchiladas were great. The dish is two cheese enchiladas covered in what tasted like slow cooked pork then grilled or sauteed just for a few minutes, bell peppers, and a rancheras sauce. There was also a salad on the side. I loved the dish, and I would come back. The only problem I had with this restaurant, besides the decor, was our waitress seemed to disappear for 15 to 20 minutes. It normally would not be a problem; however, we were ready to go as we had some where to be. On this trip our service was so-so which is why I'm giving the restaurant a 3 out of 5. read more
