We had a good and the most horrible experience with the agency. One nanny emotionally abused my son…read morein 2 days that she was there. When I left with my daughter to class I checked the cameras at home and she put my son infront of TV (when I specifically told her he can only watch tv when he eats) and went outside to speak on the phone. When I texted and called her she didn't respond. Then I spoke to her through in home camera and she flipped out on me calling me names and threatening that she's going to leave now if i "don't get my ass home right effing now". She continued to yell at me through the camera. While I got out of class at this point my son was distressed and crying in hysteria. She proceeded to call my son horrible names and eventually left the house and stood outside while my son was in panic crying for 15 mins while I was driving. When I finally arrived she was still outside proceeded calling me names. I ran into the house with my daughter and saw my son on the floor in complete panic. They clearly did not do a thorough background check on her. Our other nanny was good but she quit because she felt "overworked". While she never worked for more than 40-43 hours per week. Having said that the agency provided us with babysitters when our nanny wasn't available and we're very efficient with it.

The owner is very prompt and polite and has a great reputation. However, I was not overly impressed with our sitter. She had great nanny experience, was polite and arrived on time, but seemed uncomfortable with a small infant and was used working with toddlers and older kids.

Very disappointed to have trusted the person who enrolled me. Nothing she said was true! I Cook my…read moreown baby food can I bring? Yes! My baby drinks formula once a day can we still do that? Yes! Well all my baby schedule and food needed to be modified for her to fit in because they would not feed her the food I brought in. I walked in to a smell good place and she said "this place gets closed up once a month for a good clean up w bleach" I liked the clean concept idea! I'm a clean freak!! Well it turns out that they use chemicals all day long (not antibacterial chemicals) to hide any kid smells and the entire school has this smells that you get to take it w you on your clothes, babies clothes... I once talk for talk to one of the employees why not a healthy aroma? Something that will actually help kids breath easier since they all seem to be congested? Well a comment talk I made in the classroom, to go the front desk as If I was wanting to change the fragrance of the school!! What? I heard the owner and manager talking crap about me without knowing it was me who had asked a simple question!! My daughter got sick the first week been there and 3 months later I had more visits to the doctors then I ever did myself in 36 years!! I got to the conclusion my daughter is sensitive to that atmosphere. I had a talk w them them I had to withdraw my daughter from school and they said I had to give them a 2 weeks notice! WHAT? My daughter is sick! She can't handle been here and u want me to keep her here for another 2 weeks! Are you joking now? Listen I know all kids get sick at daycare this is a experience I don't wish to anyone. My older son was never this sick and although I know all kids are different, my kids health and nutrition are priorities for me. I have no complains about caregiver who kept my baby I really don't. But management ppl are money talkers they don't care about our kids just money.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS FACILITY! My daughter attended surfside for after school care…read more There were multiple times when she came home telling me a teacher had said something inappropriate. For instance, she was called a baby for getting upset and crying. She was called a baby by a grown woman and teased about it in front of other children. I brought it up with staff and was told it would be addressed, but I doubt it ever was. The straw that broke the camels back, however, is when my daughter's kindergarten teacher wrote me to let me know that my daughter and another child who attended surfside were discussing "juvey". They went on to tell the teacher that the people at surfside told them that they were going to get put in juvey for misbehaving and that they would only see their families once a week. They went on to say that the facility had their own juvey located behind the front office and they would get locked up there. Imagine the terror a small child would experience believing that they could get locked away from their loved ones. This was not a simple "hey, juvey exists and if you're really bad you might go there one day". These women led the children to believe that THEY could actually lock the children up in the facility's own juvey. It was conveyed in a threatening way in order to scare the children into submission. When I went to address it with the director, she actually laughed and shrugged it off as a misunderstanding. She went as far as to BLAME a group of kindergarteners for the entire incident stating that they were harassing one of the elderly teachers there and "being really nasty to her". I have no way of knowing exactly what behavior was so troubling to the elderly teacher or what exactly transpired that day, but according to my daughter it was snack time and some of the children weren't sitting on the rug waiting for their snacks; they were instead up and playing. The teacher got frazzled and started to cry. This is the point where the younger teachers came to a grown woman's rescue by threatening a group of school children. Please understand that my daughter was terrified. She and the other boy in her kindergarten class both cried when they were talking to the teacher about it. The little boy even told the teacher that he had a nightmare about juvey. I had to pull my daughter out of the aftercare program and scramble to find a new program at the end of the school year. I had to take time off work to do so. I had prepaid for a few weeks prior to the incident. I called and politely requested a refund multiple times and was repeatedly told "someone will get back to you". These are not people you should trust with your children. The teaching staff is not held accountable for their actions, the smug director attempts to cover up misdoings and they have zero integrity.
