I told them I didn't need a payment plan I could pay the whole thing but shouldn't have to. the receptionist told me they would take off the the charge for the unrequested service and I would have to pay the remaining balance and I was banned from their practice. I said that was fine. A month later I get a collection notice for the balance they took off my bill. none they're playing dumb. Avoid.

We took three dogs to vanity fur yesterday for a day at the slopes. We'd seen some questionable…read morereviews and now I know why. One of the dogs (pictured) needed some grooming and a good bath and brush. My dog is an Australian labradoodle and has a certain type of long shaggy hair which needs to be maintained. When I picked him up I was close to tears. The owner was quite short with me as she explained that she wasn't able to brush out his mats, and I could take him to a groomer and get him shaved. Excuse me? I paid $70 plus daycare plus tip to receive my dog back with an amateur haircut (uneven, one ear shorter than the other and wayyy too short) and not even a decent brush. I spent an hour when we got home brushing him out, which worked. I'm just not sure what I paid for except a dog that looks ridiculous. Are these professional groomers? I would say no. I've trimmed my dogs face and paws a few times and he always looks cute and true to his breed. Now he looks utterly ridiculous and if you saw what they did for his sanitary trim around the back end. My god. Don't do it. 2 stars is generous btw

We have taken our dogs there three times…read more(so far) and that the dogs just walked right in no problem tells me they are treated well when we aren't there. We are used to getting our dogs groomed in Brooklyn (no complaints) but Vanity Fur is a lot cheaper, more convenient , and the quality is just as good. I can't recommend them enough. FYI the people that work here are really nice too. The ties were a nice touch too.

**Warning: My Cat Was Traumatized Here**…read more This clinic was OK(not great but serviceable), until an overnight procedure left my cat completely traumatized and changed my view of this place forever. My cat was always gentle and calm. But after that overnight visit, something was clearly wrong. On our next appointment, he was shaking, growling, and so terrified that he urinated on me while sitting in my lap as soon as the vet entered the room. He refused to come out of his carrier, and when I tried to coax him out, he let out a screech I'd never heard before and lashed out in total panic. In all our years together, I had never seen him behave this way. I immediately asked what had happened during his stay. The response? Cold, vague, and defensive. The owner -- who is also the vet -- was incredibly callous, emotionally shut down, and even angry that I dared to ask. The staff followed suit, showing no empathy and offering no explanation. Instead of addressing my concern, they blamed my cat and told me they would refuse future treatment unless he "behaved better." I've since brought him to a different vet, and none of this fear-based behavior has occurred again. Whatever happened during that visit clearly left him traumatized -- and I will always regret bringing him here. ALWAYS!!! I honestly do not understand how anyone allows this team near their animals/family members. Their lack of compassion is alarming. Please pay close attention to how your pets react to a place -- they know when something is wrong. Mine tried to tell me, and I'll never ignore that again. You and your pet deserves better!!
