It was red & white checkered fabric, which is all he remembers. I had it reupholstered in California about ten years ago, but through several moves, the old fabric just got dingy and faded. I contacted two stores in St. George to do the upholstery. One could not be bothered and told me to go to Saville Upholstery, and they were happy to take on the project. They did a marvelous job on the chair. We found the right red & white checkered fabric, and we discussed some changes. It took them about two weeks to get it done from order to finish. I am not sure why folks gave this business a one or two star rating because they were responsive, the took care of a family treasure, and they worked with me on getting fabric samples and picking the right one. I would highly recommend them for any upholstery. job. I'll add some before and after pictures. The before pictures show a ruffled bottom, while the other one shows a nice clean edged finished on the bottom.

We went over the rooms I wanted cleaned when he got there, and unlike other servicers, he didn't try to upsell me (which is always nice). It was just myself and him, and there was a lot of furniture I needed moved to get the job done. Boston graciously offered to help me move items (where I think many others would've waited till I did it myself). Overall, the carpets look good (although I think carpet cleaners pretty much all do the same job), and their rates were comparable.
