Terrible customer service. Selection is usually not sized or just not there. Quality has DRASTICALLY gotten worse over the past 3 years despite price going up. I used to buy their stuff not only bc it was the "cool brand" but it was actually good quality stuff. Now I wouldn't take it if someone gave it to me for free. It all feels terrible compared to my older stuff and I hate how the customer service has dropped with it. read more

Well, my daughter has been asking for a pair of these overpriced leggings so we took her to get some. Now, we were the only black people in the store and I was very aware of that but initially it was fine. The employee was super helpful and we ended up spending 300.00 on a water bottle, leggings, and a jacket. And a hair scrunchy. Anyway, my kid was happy so whatever. When we got to the register, the over caffeinated Botox queen manager had the nerve to ask me, "Omg, what's the special occasion?" Wait- pause. She hadn't asked anyone else was it a special occasion... or why did she think we needed a special occasion to buy some leggings like- That really annoyed me. If you're not asking the young blondes what the special occasion is, don't you dare ask me. We don't need a special occasion to get some leggings, even if they are overpriced. Get some bias training ASAP. read more

I am a new lululemon shopper, as for years I've been shopping at only Athleta. So, I'm really excited that I've found yet another great athletic attire store! Their clothes are clearly high quality, so I've bought a few staple pieces that I love! The customer service is exceptional, I wish I could remember the women's name that helped me, but she made sure I had the size and color that I wanted. I never felt pressured to buy anything that I didn't absolutely love, which I appreciate. I'll be back for sure as I felt really welcomed and thoroughly helped the entire time! read more

I seriously hate when customer service is so bad it makes you hate going into a store. I completely understand that people in retail are tired and grouchy. It is Christmas and Covid isn't helping their attitudes. I get that. However, that doesn't give anyone a free pass to treat others poorly. I've been helped twice now by the same young man at the register and the eye rolling he does when I ask to apply my military discount is of epic proportions. The first time our total was around $450 and he asked if I still wanted to purchase the items because of the price. FYI.... just because I use a military discount doesn't mean I can't afford my purchase. Also, just because my husband serves in the military doesn't mean you have an open invitation to treat me like I don't belong in the store. read more

I really wanted to get either purple shorts or a purple running skirt to participate in the "Let's Finish Liza's Run". Obviously, this was very last minute. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Rodney. He showed me what they had in women's and although I really liked the running skirt, I was hoping to get purple. I would not have thought of this on my own, but he directed me to the men's running shorts. They fit great and I wore them today for the run. I decided to buy a running skirt anyway in yellow, which they did not have in my size. While I was trying on the shorts, Rodney found the correct size in the back. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the quality of Lululemon gear is excellent. read more

Let me start by saying I have been to over 20 lululemon stores across the county and never have I had a customer service experience this terrible. I came in the store wanting to make a simple exchange for a bigger size for an item and ended up being dragged through a dreadful and tiring process lasting over 30 minutes when the transaction should have taken 2 minutes in total. And on top of all of that, I had to pay an attitudinal $32.38 because the item I was exchanging was no longer on sale but it was at the time of purchase. Wish I could recommend another store but it's the only one in the city so people will inevitably have experiences similar to this one read more

The staff at this location is very helpful and friendly! I'm from out of town and this location is huge compared to the normal lululemons I visit. The sales racks have way more selection than the Raleigh and Greensboro locations I normally shop at. The lines do move slowly though. read more

This place has absolutely horrible customer service. I went to the memphis location to get my first pair of leggings. The sales lady was super helpful and told me if the leggings were too long, I could get them hemmed. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I still haven't received my leggings in the mail. I called them and They said they "forgot" to ship it to me and I will receive them by tomo. No leggings the next day. I called again few days later. They once again said sorry for not mailing them out yet and will have it shipped asap. I finally received my leggings in the mail today. They "hemmed" the leggings by cutting off a few inches from the bottom with loose threads hanging off. This is what you get for paying $140 for leggings. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I won't be buying their leggings anymore and definitely won't be recommending them either. read more

I can't see a reason to ever give a lululemon retail anything below 4 stars. And if I do - it's because of customer service. This Memphis location didn't disappoint. Great customer service....there were 3 very attentive, yet not overbearing sales associates that provided service on this recent visit. They were friendly and efficient and made me feel awesome about spending a lot of money for sweatpants. I like to mix and match and go between the men's apparel and women's apparel and sometimes when I do this I get odd looks or a sales associate will ask me if I'm shopping for my husband or boyfriend. Um no. I'm just a really large woman and sometimes men's sweats look good on my butt. Well today that didn't happen so I was able to avoid that awkward exchange. And for that, I am grateful. Wonderful selection and a really decent final sales rack - more so than what I've experienced at other locations. And they reminded me that a few of my purchases came from that rack so that was great attention to detail. This was my second time shopping at this location and like Arnold, I'll be back. read more

I had only ever visited a Lululemon store in Nashville where I had multiple very negative experiences. Because of that I didn't even want to go to this store, I was convinced by someone else to please go with them (they were shocked by my negative experiences because they love the store where they live). I was so glad I did! The girls at the Memphis store are so friendly and lovely and helpful. The total opposite of my experiences at the Cool Springs location. I've bought 3 pairs of pants this week, had one hemmed and I am in love. I see myself being a frequent visitor. read more

RUN RUN IF YOU ARE OF A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN WHITE!!! Please!!! I was racially profiled in this store. Couldn't get a call from the store manager. She would email but was too afraid to talk on the phone. Asked to keep the clothing that I intended to buy at the cash register. Even though other WHITE women shopping In the store carried around there clothes until they were ready to purchase. Wouldn't give us the military discount because I was buying the two skirts for my daughter. I was told that she actually needed to be there as if to prove that we were buying this for my daughter on her birthday. Even though we have used our military discount a number of times before at they very store. Not to mention that we have been shopping In this particular store when they were just a section in the yoga store years ago down further on popular. No return call. I guess they don't care because not many African Americans shop there anyway. Very sad!!! read more

I'm going to assume anyone on this page knows about Lululemon as a brand so I will simply speak to this specific store. I've had some bad experiences at various Lululemons, but never here. These lovely ladies always manage to fix the mistakes the other stores have made and change my opinion when it is beginning to sour of the brand. They are always helpful, have a plentiful stock, and recognize when something needs to be corrected (i.e. quality concerns). Also, they perform (thanks to their fantastic seamstress) the best hemming I have ever received from a Lululemon (I'm looking at you horrific Lenox hem job that they had to fix)! The layout of the store is nice and spacious as well as well-organized. If you are in the market for some Lululemon it is worth your while to travel here and have a good experience and not one that will leave a sour taste in your mouth especially after essentially handing over your bank account to them :) read more

I visited this store on the day after Christmas looking for the bang buster headband. The sales person acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about and pointed me toward a selection of other headbands. I thought this was one of their best sellers. While there, I also saw a mat that I liked but did not buy. After thinking about it all day, I decided I had to have it. I called the store that evening because I was going to see if they could hold one for me. The sales person who answered the phone claimed she could not find it after explaining it to her in detail (black with yellow/gold polka dots). She also asked me "where did you see it?" There is only one spot in the store where mats are kept. Surprisingly, I went the next day and found the mat in the exact spot I had seen it the previous day. Once again, no one helped me with my purchase and the sales person was not going to give me a bag until I asked. I was completely unimpressed by the lack of knowledge and the carelessness of those who worked here, especially when I've seen the exact opposite in many other Lululemon stores. read more
