the store is small and there was a long crowded line for the fitting room. every single employee at one point came up to me, consistently talking to me and asking me questions. even after I told them I'm ok, they'll return a minute later asking me again. it was very overwhelming, at least give me a second to just shop, especially after another employee just came up to me and I'm saying I'm ok and asking for space read more

At first, I was a bit concerned with this location. I had placed a pick up order, and after two hours, they did not contact me. I tried calling and no answer. However, when I went to store, the employees were very welcoming, friendly, and my order was fulfilled immediately. It turns out their systems were acting up, so none of the issues were their fault. They were very accommodating and patient while I looked around and shopped. Would highly recommend. read more

The time had finally come. I had thought about it, imagined it for years, waiting for the right time. It was time to play golf. But, alas, I had not a nice pair of comfortable, golf-appropriate, tough slacks. In my mind, I thought my journey to my first round of golf was lost. But then came a savior: Lululemon Athletica. I made my way to The Promenade, walked through the doors, and saw immediately the pair of pants that would save my dream. The staff was extremely helpful in finding me a size and helping me determine length (too short, abort, too tall causes a fall). Those ABC pants (Anti-Ball Crushing) were incredible, both protecting the precious cargo within, while providing them with ample room so as not to cause a man to pump unleaded, if you know what I mean. And the polo I got to go with it was so supple against my chest, stomach, back, and nipples. I've experienced the dreaded nipple chafe, but not with this exquisite piece of clothing. I was quickly checked out, and my dream became a reality once again. I played my first round of golf, looking fly as Sheol while doing it. Thank you lululemon for fulfilling a dream. read more

I've been to several Lululemon Athletica stores in several different cities and every experience has been similar. On a usual visit I'm met with a welcoming/warm greeting and smile. Typically I interact with a very knowledgeable/friendly staff, who are ready and willing to go above and beyond to help me and my family. Today at The Promenade at Chenal it started that way. We enter the store full of friendly and welcoming educators. My wife roamed through the store while one of the educators helped me order shirts offline. While my wife collected items she wanted she was approached twice about starting a dressing room. That is completely normal and we actually prefer not to hold a bunch of stuff while we shop anyway. Although one educator "Viki" ( I believe that's her name) decided to take it a step further. First she approach my wife and asked her once more about a dressing room and my wife declined. Viki then approached several other educators and and directed their attention to my wife and asked them to watch her(my wife). Then another educator began to shadow her from a distance. My wife then approached me with tears in her eyes and asked to leave. Once outside of the store I asked her what happened and she explained. I then returned to the store and asked Viki what was this issue. She then explained a staff meeting about how they are not supposed to harass customers about getting a dressing room. One, that's not at all what took place & two, clearly the meeting did not work. Then after a half hearted and forced apology for the "misunderstanding" to me and not my wife I left. I understand that not many people are willing to spend $70 on a t-shirt or over $100 on tights just because they are comfortable but we were and we were actually loyal, repeat customers. I guess through Viki's brief observation we did not fit into the Lululemon's target market and our sticky figures needed to be watched. I'm not sure if it was our skin, our conversation, or our demeanor that made Viki feel we were suspected thieves. It didn't help that we were the only black people in the store at that time. I'm a law enforcement officer and my wife is a pharmacist so I can guarantee we did not present a demeanor or say anything that would lead anyone to believe we would steal anything. It seems so small but it is truly disappointing/hurtful to walk into a store and have to be watched in 2017. I completely understand the importance of minimizing loss but Viki is going about it the wrong way. It sucks because Lululemon is the majority of what I wear but I can not continue to support any product or retail store that treats its consumers that way. read more
