I ordered two items online. Upon arrival, the items were not as described. I decided to return them to the nearest store (Burlington, MA). I was told I could not get my money back because I paid with a gift card. They offered to ship the merchandise to the warehouse the next day and I would get a gift card electronically. Seemed fine. So much for free and easy returns. Five weeks later and multiple calls to the idiotic customer service department has yielded no refund. I kept waiting for my merchandise credit to magically show up in five days in my inbox. I come to find out my merchandise is not at the warehouse and the store has no clue where it went. I happened to be walking by the store while on an errand and stopped by to see if the matter could be resolved. Customer service actually asked me to go to the store and talk to the sales associate. This is a huge inconvenience and I should not be doing this. I spoke to Lindsay in the store and she seemed to understand and even asked if I wanted a cash refund given the circumstances. I said yes and she promised to get to the bottom of the situation. Also, she said I would be compensated for my aggravation. Ten minutes later (after I left) she offers me a gift card for the return and promptly forgets what we discussed. I thought she couldn't do a return in store??? Keywords being I requested cash and compensation for aggravation, but she said she would mention to her supervisor. My issue has now been escalated to the District Manager. Unresolved as I write this. They obviously don't know how to offer a reasonable and amicable solution. Fair warning ladies. Don't shop here. The service and rules are horrible. If you need a Kate Spade item, buy it from a department store that has a better and more organized return policy. I will NEVER return after this is over.

Here is my story, I worked here basically all summer, did everything for my boss with only one day of training.... she said she'd give us extra money if we picked up packages and dropped them off. I picked up and dropped off so many packages to try and be a good employee, never got any extra money like I was told. Along with that , she was doing a September Sales incentive where if you earned over $120 per sale , you'd get $10 Style Snoop Bucks. I made over $200 in sales, I made the most out of everyone working there and was super proud of my hard work and dedication to the store. After the month was over, I had 2 weeks left of work until my big move to LA. Unfortunately I got sick a couple days before my last day and had to call in sick. My boss was really upset and didn't believe that I was sick, told everyone I quit, (not true), told me to never come back , told me I didn't care about her store, told me I wasn't a good employee and never gave me my incentive. Never gave a young college student the money she earned , that is pretty terrible and selfish for an adult women to do. Basically punished me, all because I called out sick and it was such an inconvenience for her. Threw all my hard work out the window. All I can say is how can someone be so selfish. I felt like I could never go to her for questions or say any creative ideas I had because the way she'd speak to me, I felt like I could never do anything right and nothing ever satisfied her. I tried so hard to make everyone happy and do everything right and still no appreciation was ever shown. I truly would not recommend working here.

A fraudulent charge of $130 was made on my newly opened card 9 days later, mind you before I could receive my physical plastic card. The only person who knew the card numbers was this manager who pressured me into opening the TJX card. I was beyond livid to find someone stealing from me. So be careful about this store.

Chicos was so easy to poke around and I found some AMAZING sales in the back of the store! I'm a busy nurse and on my time off I like to look AND feel casual chic. The first time I went to return a pair at least the employee was nice, had me take a pic of the receipt and had me on my way, the second time, wow no customer service skills at all, no hi how are you or I'm doing good after I asked him how he was doing, just looked at me with a puss face looked at the sneaker mumbled something went in the back then I asked if I was all set mumbled something again only after I put a thumbs up I realized he said again all set. But message footlocker customer service in their chat session and really helpful and they refunded me. Management should teach on how to return an online payment.
