I recently received and email asking me for feedback following a visit to the Market St location. The response I received only magnified the poor customer service within this company. Low stock , poor customer service and zero problem resolution. I can't even blame lack of staff for their issues be the store had 5 employees on the day I went which was a Monday and midday . They were just inept all around . The clothing is great , too bad 90% of what I went in to purchase was not available. read more

I'm not sure why the staff is so incredibly rude every time I've gone in there. You are selling athletic wear. Period. I now skip going here and go across the way to Lulu Lemon, where the staff are courteous and want to assist each and every person who goes in there. Horrible place don't come here we went in today with the intent to buy workout clothes for my wife and a store associate walks near but not asking us if we need any help at all... She was racially profiling her... She kept on looking away and then looking back and pretending to fold clothes that were already folded!!!!! If I could give zero stars i would. Love the brand Athleta so this is nothing against the brand. However, the numerous times that I have been in this store I am often not greeted. Some of the sales associates are snobby and rude. I will be ordering online or going to a different location which is on the other side of town. read more

Love the Athleta brand which is why I'm giving 1 star. However, customer service at this location was atrocious! This was my first time physically going to an Athleta store (I have shopped online in the past). I spent 20 minutes walking around with an arm full of clothing. I was not greeted, asked if I needed assistance or asked if I needed a fitting room. Meanwhile associates were helping 2 other customers (there were 3 total customers in the store including myself) I thought at least one of them would ask if I needed help after they finished up but that did not happen. I helped myself to the fitting room & then proceeded to checkout. The woman behind the counter was folding merchandise & was looking at paper work. She kept me standing there for about 5 minutes until she was finished then asked if I found everything okay. I handed her a gift card & she looked confused. The gift card wouldn't swipe. She told me it wasn't working. I suggested that she plug it in manually -- surprise, surprise, it worked! She handed me my purchase but did not thank me. Overall I was extremely disappointed by my experience & won't return. It's too bad because Market Street is such a good location & the store is beautiful. Word of advice to management; work on your customer service, especially since this is a new store. read more

I love Athleta and this is by far the closest one to me and most convenient. I always end up walking out empty handed to purchase online. The employees here are rude and make it very clear they are interested in selling you something but not in helping you. I kept trying to give it a chance because I really do love the brand but every time I go in I'm greeted by no one and if I dare ask for help I get a rude and dismissive response, or if I'm lucky a sneer or eye roll. It's a real good reason to walk a few feet to lulu lemon. Shame on corporate for letting this store lose them customers. read more

Bought some beautiful clothes, a few items were on sale. Salesgirl very knowledgeable about the differences between the various cropped pants. Knew merchandise well. Nice not to have to enter a mall to shop here. read more

Great experience! The service was remarkable, I had multiple people approach me to genuinely help me! I didn't know athleta was so awesome with everyday clothes too! I found the perfect sports bra here all thanks to the sales woman who helped! They also were knowledgeable about the NYC flatiron location that has classes. Very excited to check it out :) read more

I love the quality of clothing at Athleta but the customer service is not even equivalent. I went shopping with my daughter and she had a return to do before a repurchase. The young lady helping her said she was new and was having a hard time with the transaction. There were a few managers talking to each other and we're pretty much ignoring the associate's request for help. When a manager did finally make her way over I was baffled at the way she interacted with my daughter and I. It's safe to say that we will either shop online or at the Burlington location. Hopefully the managers get it together, as it seems that other customers are complaining of the same issue. read more

Athleta's return policy online states you can return anything at any point if it doesn't hold up well. I left the store no longer a customer after I was scolded by an employee for returning something WITH a receipt because she told me I had obviously loved it after wearing it "many times" despite the killing, fuzzing and stretching out of the fabric. If my Old Navy pants hold up for years better than 4 month old $100 Athleta leggings, I'm going to return them per the policy, and shouldn't be scolded for it. read more

I'll start by saying I love Athleta. The clothes are incredible. I spend a lot of money in this store, however today is the last time I will go to the Lynnfield location. I cannot believe how rude one of the associates was - especially the manager. The manager wouldn't even speak with to my face. She kept her back turned and yelled. I would like a little more respect - especially from a manager. I'll just go to Burlington or Peabody in the future. read more

I am giving one star because I do love Athleta clothes, commitment to quality and the message of the brand. The Lynnfield store does not reflect this at all! The staff is incredibly snobby, self absorbed and rude. I shop mainly online, since going into this store is anything but pleasant. It is too bad, because it is nice to immediately get an item if you want it right away, but I never enjoy going into the Lynnfield store. read more
