This shop is located inside Canal Place (mall) along with Saks, Louis Vuitton, Vineyard Vines, Tory Burch, MCM. It was pretty busy when I visited December 24th. I don't have a LuluLemon near me and usually resort to Columbia Wear for hiking clothes, so I was thrilled to look for a little bit nicer athletic wear here. I looked around a bit and a sales associate came to help me. There were several lines I wanted to try in women's, which they didn't have. I am not opposed to men's which doesn't look "manly." I settled on the ABC Classic pants and picked black and grey. They fit in the waist, but not the length, so the sales associate suggested ordering them online in the correct size. They arrived quickly from online ordering, BUT did not fit. Sadly, I have just sent them back (free returns). Maybe if they had them in stock, regardless of color, I could have known how they fit. Staff isn't very friendly and will not do anything extra to help you. We had a pair of shorts that had snags all over it. We came in from across the lake to swap them out because it was a product issue. He told us that since they didn't have the item to swap it out with that we couldn't do it... even though he should've just put the amount on a gift card then use the gift card to order it on his device (bbr). I used to work for lululemon for 4 years and so I know this is so simple and easy to do. We were there for an entire hour and it was a waste of time. I have a hard time at Lulu....Everything is seriously so expensive. But every once in awhile I convince myself that I can purchase one thing here or there....The ladies at that work at this store were very fake, cold and pre occupied. It is HOT in NOLA. Hot and humid. My son (who I wear in a wrap on my back) and I had been out walking around for a couple hours. When we came into the store I took him off my back and we were both sweaty messes. All the women behind the counter looked at me like I had three heads b/c we were soaked...Hello it is HOT what do you expect? my son and I shopped around for a bit and one lady was somewhat friendly. Still though seemed really annoyed at us, as though we didn't fit the Lulu mold. Just felt odd. read more

This place is just mecca. Let's be honest. It's not cheap, and recently they had that whole debacle of see through yoga pants making it to the market, as if yoga pants are already revealing enough...but, I just love Lulu. They're clothes are well designed, ultra feminine and very functional for the female athlete. The store is pretty, not big or anything, but clean, pretty and well staffed. Love! read more

After writing a very enthusiastic review of the Nashville Street showroom, I am less than enthusiastic about the store. This is disappointing for me. At the time I discovered lululemon (when we had the showroom), the quality of lululemon clothing was very high, and I loved it. About a year after the initial discovery, I had close to ten items that that bled, a pair of shorts that mysteriously developed purple splotches, and multiple items that are see through when I held them up (not just on my body). It appears that the company was using cheaper production (while increasing prices). I don't want to fault any particular store for the company's flaws, but this is what the store carries, and I am now less enthused about shopping. What are the positives? I like their in store yoga and they way the reach out to the community. It is nice to spotlight different local studios and invite the general population to sample local fitness opportunities. It's a clean, bright, attractive store. Although the parking at Canal Place is not always convenient, I do like that the store is at Canal Place because it seems special because it is not part of a large shopping mall. It's right by Starbucks too! I have two concerns, one of which is serious. I do appreciate the way Lululemon in general has been receptive to accepting returns on certain items that have been worn if they bleed dye, etc. the showroom was great about this, no questions asked. I returned a currant bleeding tank last winter that was originally $48. The Canal Street store only refunded $29 because "that's how it rang up." This particular tank is always $48. I will say that I miss the presence of Niki Still, who was the manager of the showroom. She was great with the returns. I do think some some of the quality issues with lulu clothing are quite serious especially when you consider the cost of the items and the devotion of their regular customers. To not get the full amount back is frustrating. I occasionally return things I buy online without wearing them. There is one particular educator (employee) who seems to be the one at the desk whenever I return something. She runs around the store in lulu clothes that are way too small. When I hand over the items, she makes this huge production of how she would keep the items if only they were her size but they are too big for her. I feel like saying, "I'm sure they would fit you fine. If you didn't wear your clothes so tight they look painted on you, this would actually fit you more accurately." read more

I love this store and the high quality merchandise they sell. I've never had better fitting or flattering crops until I discovered Lululemon. The sizes do run small so be prepared to ask for a size up. Lululemon is pretty pricey but if it helps you look and feel better, go for it! read more

It's the only one in NOLA so they don't have a huge selection all the time, for instance what you see on the manikins are not really in the bends but they had great customer service! No trouble with getting store credit either! read more

I really don't understand all the hype about Lululemon. I am an avid yoga practitioner, have shopped at a variety of yoga clothing stores (Lucy, Athleta, etc), and Lululemon's tops have by far always been the worst of any I have tried. I am fairly standard sized in terms of measurements at other stores, but Lululemon's fits and cuts are always incredibly uncomfortable and seem poorly designed - usually smashing down the chest, providing pitiful chest coverage, and squeezing the body like a corset. This even when I size up 1 or even 2 sizes from my usual. It feels like I'm about to dislocate my shoulders whenever I attempt to take it off by crossing my arms and pulling up. I have such hope each time I try a new line of Lululemon styles, but each time am disappointed. In my opinion, if you're going to spend this amount of money on yoga clothes, you're better off going to a more quality outlet. On another note, it's been explained to me that the name "Lululemon" came from a racist imitation of Asians trying to speak English, so there's also that. read more

I had an awesome shopping experience the men and women working the floor were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the people working the counter were very polite and helpful as well.
