At the gym you want to look your best so a great place to come and get some clothes is Lululemon! They are one of the best workout clothes I have ever bought and I love that this location is in Old Town Pasadena. If you know Old Town well this Lulu is off of Colorado Blvd which is pretty easy to find and Pasadena has parking lots all around the area but they have one conveniently behind this Lulu location. I believe you can get 60 mins or some number for free also without having to validate or anything. The layout of this lulu is really nice with a very very large section for the ladies. Also they do have a sale section that you can do some browsing it. Warning you that lulu is cute and pretty but it is a little bit on the pricy side. Which is to say I have bought many clothes from Lulu and they still have not yet fade, teared and let alone ripped. :) So I am a total fan and I love love LuLu. !! I've dropped into the Pasadena store a couple times in the last few weeks. This store is very tiny compared to Studio City, Brentwood and Glendale. Most of the same pieces in some variation are here but the cramped style is not visually pleasing at this location. Service also seems better in Studio City. read more

I recently went here to get my boyfriend a shirt and found the staff to be really kind and friendly! It was Yoga month or something like that, so they had a whole couch + listening station set up goin' on-- a customer service rep approached me when she saw I was looking and it and explained its purpose and process. Later, I was looking at the yoga pants and another customer service rep helped explain the differences between each one, which were most popular and why, what compression pants were, etc. PARKING is tough, but there are multiple parking structures around. Google the 90 minute free parking structures, there's 3 in old town. PRICES are higher than what I usually spend on workout gear, not sure if the quality is worth it. read more

Super friendly and helpful staff. Trouble with sizing? No problem, they will help you out and you will be happy with what you purchase. Everything is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The workout pants are super comfy to wear and workout in. I always have to drop by lulu everytime I'm in Pasadena, just to check out the new goodies they have. Just left and had a great experience! This was my first visit to the new location across the street. Alec was great and helped my husband find the right sized Kung Fu pants and sweater for my father in law. All the ladies were very helpful, especially the one behind the register who was trying to help me locate some shorts online (sorry, I can't remember her name!). Hmm, when your girl friends say that they own a pair of Lulu's.....that means several. I have to say that I never thought much about then when my friend's would mention their addiction to shopping there. At least I didn't until I noticed that my pants were fading and theirs weren't. AND I DO MEAN the color BLACK. So off to Lululemon's I went in search of a comfortable pair or two that would be useful for my athletic jaunts around town. Hmmm, small store with many hidden attractions inside. BEWARE! BEWARE! Needless to say, i found more than I bargained for. I came out with three pairs of pants, one sports bra, and two bra shelf tops. Ladies with some heft up top, these bras actually hold them in. Yep, they can be maintained. IT IS POSSIBLE at Lulu's. I am more than extremely happy with my purchases and came back for more stuff. Yeah, more. Why? I have to say that I love how they feel on my skin, the way the fabric shapes around my form...yeah its actually flattering and I am no spring chicken with a size zero waist. Nor am I a size 6 either. Just be aware that this isn't suited for those who are pinching the pennies. Lulu is down right pricey. Oh, and once you're in? I went into this store to take in some shirts to be hemmed. Brought the shirts in on a Sunday and they were ready by Tuesday. Took advantage and looked around. I decided to get my BF a few things and was given the best suggestions. I feel bad about not getting everybody's name, but all the employees from the girl who took my hemming order, the the manager I believe, ( she looked strong, totally goals) and the young man who checked me out at the counter... all offered excellent customer service! I was in the Pasadena store trying to exchange a gift that was given to me. All I wanted was the exact same item in a different color. The clerk who helped me told me Lululemon would not allow an exchange without the gift receipt. I did not have a gift receipt. The young woman was rude and very adamant that this was Lululemon policy. I came home and called Lululemon Corporate and they very readily set up a return for me. I just had to use the mailing label they provided and return the items for store credit. It could not have been easier....to bad the clerk in the store could not have been more accommodating. Great! Lululemon makes the best athletic / yoga clothing out there. There's a reason why the brand is so prominent and popular - you really gets your money's worth with Lulu products! The staff in all the lulu stores are very welcoming and will gladly help you out with any questions, suggestions, and can easily best recommend the fit and material of anything you want from the store. I like little touches like how they will ask and write your name down at the changing room. They will also try their best to find alternate sizes or similar models! Lighting is on point so you look normal - none of that harsh overhead white lighting. Their prices are pretty pricy but do note that they have stuff on markdown occasionally - it's not too much of a markdown but it really helps your wallet!! Check their sale section when you come here first! Parking is easy with free parking for the first 90 minute at the free parking lot right across the street! read more

While everything there is pretty pricy, you are paying for comfortable workout clothes that look/feel amazing! Also, I love to shop online because there is a greater choice in the "we made too much" section and exclusive items not found in stores. First off let me start by saying Erica, the associate helping me was FANTASTIC. She was quick to bring me sizes and gave me very helpful advice regarding the leggings I was trying on. I will come back here simply due to her exceptional service. However, the 13 customer limit allotted is a bit extensive, especially considering the size and capacity of the store itself. While waiting in line under the scorching heat I witnessed quite a few individuals leaving due to the wait. I am aware there is a current pandemic, however the capacity regulations are set by the store, not the law. I would definitely come back here if I did not have to wait in line that long. read more

I've been going to this location several years and today's great experience finally compelled me to write a review. On one of the busiest shopping days of the year - day after Christmas and Boxing Day - I went to the Glendale Americana Mall location in the morning. The place was a zoo! We arrived at 10 (normal opening time) only to find out the store opened at 8 on this special day. An employee manned the door like a night club bouncer. She passed out wristbands with twenty minute shopping windows - starting an hour later. She ushered groups of shoppers in the door while others waited in a 'standby' line - hoping to get in a bit earlier than the wristbanded time. When we finally gained admittance, it was a most unpleasant shopping experience. The lines to check out were at least 44 minutes long and snaked all through the small shopping floor making it nearly impossible to walk through the shop, let alone look at anything on the racks. We left a few minutes after entering disgusted with the shopping trip. An hour later I was at the Old Town Pasadena location. Completely different. This location choose to celebrate the day with a DJ and snacks. While the store was busy, it was a fun and pleasant shopping experience. I was looking for a specific zip up and Andrea, the Store Manager, helped me find my size at another store - which took my info over the phone and shipped it to me. I was really surprised that Andrea and the other location took the time on such a busy day to help me purchase a sale item! The employees at this location were all happy, even though it was super busy and loud. This made the experience so much better. This is a testament to either a great manager or brand or both. this is a review for the corporate and the Store managers to review your employees. Lululemon does have top quality sports clothes. Very comfortable and durable for activities. But a bit on the PRICEY side... (ex 200$ for down puffers, 100$ for black stretch pants) But just think on the other hand... its like paying for quality and their mission statement to help the community thru free classes and to better the world. I've been a fan since long time ago.... have tried and own almost every different kind of product of theirs, and attend classes quiet often through various locations. But one thing i do find across all of them is disappointment in their customer service and selection of their store representatives. The workers tend to spend more time trying on different clothes themselves and/or talk to each other than to help customers. Today, i went into the store... (was not greeted at all). 5 workers were standing by the counter because one short little girl worker was trying on a big black jacket. There is one product i wanted to see that is on the top shelve so i interrupted and ask for assistance. All of them turn their head around and not made an action. You workers have ONE JOB and that is to help the customer... yet you still failed. It makes me to have second thoughts about spend such big bucks on a pair of stretchy pants and knowing that parts of the money pays off to girls that stands around and chitchat. Dont get me wrong. There are still some that are great help with good customer service. Not that im saying they should be 100% following each customer but at least when people ask... they should acknowledge the fact that they are at WORK and probably should help them and save the conversation for later. read more

Ok, I don't want to put down Lululemon because I LOVE lululemon groove pants. However, when I am paying 110 dollars for a pair of black stretchy pants, I am entitled to have excellent service (yes, this may be an arrogant statement, but c'mon, 110 dollars for black stretchy pants made in China) So when I first walked in, it took me 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge the fact I was struggling with trying to find the right waistband for the pants I wanted to buy. There was this blonde girl (who was working there) was trying on leggings and a tank top and sporting them around the store. I don't mind people who are working there to try around different items, but the fact I was very lost and confused about getting the pants off the shelves while she was prancing around the store showing off her new outfit irks me. Just a little bit. The next day, I went to return a pair of crops. I've had them for a week. I tried them on, walked around in them in my house for a few minutes, realized that the hip area was too tight (not comfortable), and brought them back to return (or at least, exchange a size). The guy who worked there told me I could not return them because "they had been thoroughly worn". Ok, these black pants attract lint like crazy, because I had some lint on them doesn't mean I ran a whole marathon in these pants. If I'm paying 110 dollars for black stretchy pants that attract lint like crazy, and because they were too tight in the hip area (which you can't tell unless you sit up and down in the pants), I should at least be able to exchange them for the next size up, or get a different style that suits my body type. Even target or walmart or ebay or amazon has a better return policy. I am very disappointed with this store and will take my business elsewhere. I do not mean to sound like a bitter basket case, as I do love lululemon's pants and mission, but when the marginal costs of your pants are probably not over 10 dollars, it wouldn't hurt to make your customer satisfied at the sake of them coming back for business. read more

Just wanted to say the girls here are shopping motivators/cheerleaders! I came here again, but this time knowing I wanted one of their loose tank tops with a built in bra (you can see the bra since the tank is so loose). (Side note: running LA marathon on a WARM day so I need some air freeing wear). I was greeted with smiley faces right when I entered the door. & I received major compliments for the tank I bought (first Lululemon purchase!) I ended up with the mint green tank (it's a solid mint tank with a built in bra that's mint with white polka dots). SO pretty and in one of my favorite colors. The lady at the register recommended running with the tank before the race to make sure I like it. So yesterday I did a practice hot run in it. I live down the street from this place so on the run back, I stopped by Lululemon to tell em I liked it. The girls were SO ecstatic and, I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty contagious. I know I'm an upbeat perky person, but these girls make my perkiness seem nothing. Overall, I am a happy customer! I love my new pretty tank. And it's perfect for my St. Patrick's LA marathon run! :) Oh, and the bag they give your purchase in is super cute and reusable. I've generally had good experience shopping at lululemon stores. But one of the staff here was not very friendly. I told her I was looking for tank tops that are shorter in length, so she brought me one particular section with one of the new collections. I said I got the same exact shirt and am looking for other styles/colors. She said "this just came out last week, so it might not be the same one". Uhhh I know what I have?!? I would give this location zero stars if I could because of its poor customer service. If any district manager checks yelp to see how each location is doing, here you have it, customer service is horrible. Your snobby staffs turn people away like no other. I really do think the people a a retail operation hires will either make or break a brand. Sadly, if Lululemon continues to let this cult like sh*t show go on, it will soon not have a brand. I've been to this location a few times. I often felt judged because I have more questions about the product than die hard praises. Every rep I talked to in the store are inpatient with questions, and seem offended when I wanted to return a product. When I asked the other girl what size I should go with the pants, she seemed inpatient and wanted to usher me away. I walked out of the store feeling completely respected. I entered the store intent on purchasing a LULU yoga mat--a treat for myself. I believed they would have a mat unrolled so that I would be able to see how it feels/thickness/grip. Unfortunately, they don't, nor do they accept a mat returned to them once it's been opened. I said to the sales girl that she should relay a message on to the manager about how they should at least have a mat hanging, where we can touch it outright (not all rolled up--very hard to tell this way, I assure you). I explained to her that I teach yoga and it would help to know what I am spending my non-refundable money on. Low and behold, she was the manager. Her name is Megan. Megan totally understood, and while not promising anything crazy to me, she told me that she would put a note in my file, and should I absolutely hate the mat, I should come back to the store. Even just her saying that, made me feel better. Shen then showed me some mats that were on sale--wooohooooo! Went in today 3/26/19 and was trying to exchange some clothes I had gotten as gifts. I have a shirt that I never wore and 2 pairs of boxers, one that I tried on and one that was still in the box. I was told that they had discontinued the boxers so there was absolutely nothing they could do to help! All I needed was a new size! I even offered to pay the difference... I understand about the pair I tried on but at least help me with the one that wasn't opened! And the employee, guy with short hair, was unhelpful and didn't make me feel welcome at all! I shop at Lulu in Studio City all the time and have never been treated this way... he also said they couldn't help with the shirt either. So proceed with caution if you are buying gifts for people! What I like about LLL is the way each store is organized similar. It makes shopping quick and easy. I also enjoy the displays . They give me ideas . I am not a shopper for entertainment. I usually know what I want before I enter any store. I don't shop much on the internet either . I still like to touch feel and smell what I am buying. I don't enjoy Home deliveries. I bought my first pair of pants here and I love them. The quality of their products are amazing. I have since bought 3 more pants in the last 2 months. It's the staff that's the problem. I expect better customer service than, I quote "um. Are u funding what you need?" They seems to cluster in groups talking to each other or others that look exactly like them in their lululemon head to toe looks. The last few times I've been in there the girls at the register have commented on the previous customer. They also get wrapped up in each other trying on clothes and not paying attention to other customers in the store. And returning? Forget it. You get attitude when you return items with tags on them!! Already all the rage in Canada, Lululemon has come to the U.S. Move over, Nike and Puma, this yoga inspired stuff is so much better looking. The sales people are very friendly and a lot more about telling you about their products and asking what sports you do (to find the clothing that best suits you) than pushing you to buy things. The designs are modern and - better yet - the tops are all about longer torsos. I'm pretty tall, and a lot of the time I'm stuck with things that fit perfectly except that they reveal too much tummy. Not Lululemon tops. They have two "signature" pieces: 1) Reverse Groove Pant This comes in Regular and Tall lengths, and you'd be shocked by how comfortable these simple, black reversible pants are. You have a two color options and several different colored waist bands to choose from. The material is patented by Lululemon and I promise it feels like a second skin, since there are no seams and no chafing. Like all their other products, the scuba has flat seams to prevent chafing and comes in a bunch of different colors. You've never seen a hoodie like this one.
