I was really excited to visit an Alo Yoga store for the first time, as I've purchased several items…read moreonline and have always liked the brand. Unfortunately, my in-store experience was disappointing. When my husband and I walked in, no one greeted us or offered assistance. I even made eye contact with an employee near the front, but she didn't acknowledge us, so I initially assumed she was a customer. As we continued walking through the store, multiple employees passed by without saying anything. After a few minutes, I realized the person at the front was in fact an employee, which is when I decided to leave. I did mention the situation to someone before leaving (it was difficult to tell who worked there since no one was wearing name tags), and I was told they usually have a greeter and that the employee "didn't see me." As a customer who came in ready to make a purchase--and even wearing the brand--it was a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, it left me feeling unwelcome and has made me reconsider shopping with Alo in the future. After looking at other reviews I see that I am not alone in this. ALO definitely doesn't seem to care about customer service at all and it looks like good customer service is not a company value

We wandered looking for some jogging pants and assorted sweats but the selection was not great . The prices overall were also higher. After a while and seeing that no salesperson was coming our way for help, even though the store was not super busy, we left disappointed. We will try the century city one even if it means a long drive.

Coming in the second time, we were assisted by Zack who was kind enough to provide us some water bottles while we shopped. To our surprise, Jenny - who happened to be working that day - had recognized the both of us and soon we found ourselves with opportunities to build on the conversations we left off on. I randomly walk in Carters...not planning on buying anything but just browsing. Once I took 2 steps…read moreinside the store, one associate welcomed me into the store and asked if there was anything I was looking for. I said that I was just browsing. She pointed to the new arrivals, showed me the clearance sections and said if I needed any help to freely ask for it. While I walked around, each associate made eye contact and said hi then asked if I needed any help. Some retail stores these days have associates just saying hi but there was no eye contact just robotic phrases...but not at this store. Every associate genuinely said hi and was willing to help. It felt great. I was able to find 2 fleece pants on clearance for $3.50 each and took it to the register. The manager Lisa (who was also the same person that welcomed me right when I walked it) asked if I found everything okay and rang up my $7 purchase as if I was buying a $500 purchase. I remembered that I did want to look at Skip Hops Weekender Bag in person. Asked Lisa causeI didn't see it in the store. She quickly knew right away that there may be one in the back. She asked her team to grab it and I looooooooved it. So I grab 2 since it was on clearance. Overall, the team at the store is the nicest and most genuine in helping customers. Every time I've come purchase items their selection is very good, I can always find something for any kid, the prices are unusually low for 2026, and I've had great service each time. Even if one employee was a bad apple that doesn't deter from all the other excellent things carters has to offer.
