I realized I left 2 bags in their store the night before with souvenirs I bought my family and I called them before takeoff from the airplane when I realized it. The girls there were gracious enough to walk them to my hotel which is also in the village so they can ship them home to me in California. From the Spritz brand aromatic sprays that tone and refresh, to Harlow skin care I indulged in sample nirvana. Then I spotted THE boot brand SHOTO! Hand made in Italy, I am now smitten and on the prowl! Oh yes they had a the bag brand Market Canvas, I can see one of these on my shoulder sooner than later. The shop staff was kind and informative, and I shared one of my favorite Italian leather manufactures with them. I left the shop with a wealth of new product information. My philosophy is to shop local is possible, especially when traveling and go look and handle items, and learn about new things that may enrich your life in some little way. I always pass this shop like I am in a daze. I think it's because it's " jointly located" with a…read morejuice bar (The Green Moustache). I thought it was a "gift store" for long time. I finally stopped by, and although they do sell surprisingly interesting giftware, they also sell women's clothes. The clothing is pretty much in the neutral colours around which you build your wardrobe. Everything I saw was casual clothing (denim, tops, sweaters), and the merchandise ranged from classic to stylish. I would say the items are definitely not cheap, but they are different than the other stores in Whistler. There appeared to be limited quantities of each item too, so if it's important to you to not see other women around town in the same top, this is a good choice. Overall, I think the store is a 4.5. I rounded up because it's a unique store in Whistler. It's worth a look, if you are in the area.

This time I came in I bought a cute sweater in a dark bubble gum pink color. It was waffle style. Had a longer front and back, with the sides a little higher. I also bought a TNA T-shirt. Very simple with just their TNA logo embroidered on it. Their space is decent sized, but there aren't too many options. There are a few changing rooms in the back and they do carry a few different brands other than their own. You can sign up for their email list as well when you check out in order to accumulate points on your purchases. They are definitely known for their hoodies because they have one for just about everyone. When I went in they had an up to 50% off sale and I was able to purchase a couple hoodies for really cheap. I really like their children's apparel. They have some really cute shirts that have Canada on it. Many of their items has the Canadian maple leaf or Canada written somewhere on it. It makes for a great gift to give to someone that doesn't live in Canada or even for yourself. Roots has a signature character or animal that they have on all of their apparel...the beaver. It is really cute and is iconic for roots. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the clothing that you get. It is very soft and thick. This is definitely one of my favorite stores in Canada and I will be back again when I visit.

They molded them a bit to my feet and they have been like a dream to ski in. Even better, i came in this year (a year after I bought them) and asked for a slight adjustment on one toe and they did it for free. The clothing is all expensive, but it's market rate for great quality gear. If you're in Whistler and need new equipment, this is the place to go.

Booing is easy through the Mindybody app and classes are reasonably priced at around $20 US for a 75 minute class. We did the Vinyasa class. It's a small studio with village views and class sizes are limited . We had 10 people in our class. Everything is already laid out rest to go - Mats and blankets and props are encouraged. The class was very good. The teacher asked beforehand if there was anything she needed to know before class which is important when teaching new students and her practice was very good, taught very well and very safe. In the years since I have been here, I became a yoga teacher with two credentials and it has given me more insight into practice and instruction- and I have realized that many cues are often not the safest such as pigeon but this instructor was great and very well versed in sage alignment. The only thing I don't love and I have noticed it on both visits as well as my daughter picking up on the vibe, is that it does not have a warm or friendly vibe. I cannot pin point it but it does not encourage me to come back - but maybe it's because it's a class full of strangers due to this being a tourist spot . Small point as the studio and instruction is great. I felt much better after the class and ready for another hike !

When I recieved no response during the day, I went in at the start of the evening class to asked what I can do about a credit. The instructor didn't seem to belive me to be sick and asked me to join the class or write to the owner but that I had missed the chance for a refund. Unfortuatnely a couple days later I tested positive for Covid. I wrote Emily, the business owner, with a screen shot of the google listing. She implied that I was faking it and trying to get out of the class with a loophole and said, "No, we did not get your voicemail and I do not recognize that number. I've been in touch with Google to see what happened. We don't take voicemail at this time." Then she berated me for harassing her employee. Follow up from Emily: "I've processed a refund to your credit card, upon your demands, in the hopes that you do not return to the studio."
