I'm a big fan of lululemon. Simply put, lululemon clothes are extremely comfortable, high quality, practical, functional, and look great. When it comes to casual and athletic wear, there's not much more you can ask for. This is lululemon store #13014. It's located at The Streets at Southpoint mall in Durham. lululemon is located on the west side of the mall and has an outdoor storefront. lululemon recently moved to a new suite at The Streets at Southpoint, suite 835. It's where the Apple Store used to be. lululemon opened in this new, larger space on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. I visited lululemon's old space at Southpoint (suite 935) not long before they moved. This new space is a huge upgrade. It got cramped in the old space. That's not the case anymore. There's actually room to breathe. And it's beautiful. The best place to park for this lululemon store is on the north side of the mall. If you can see the lululemon sign from the parking lot, you're in the right place. On our first visit to this new location within Southpoint, both my wife and I picked up a few items we've been needing, especially me. My old Puma athletic shorts have been worn out for a while so I picked up a pair of lululemon Pace Breaker Short 7" LL (liner-less) in Black ($68). My wife got an Open Tie-Back Short Sleeve shirt in Spiced Chai (regularly $68, but marked down to a final sale price of $49) and an Energy Bra sports bra in Black ($52). We got a 25% Healthcare Workers discount which lululemon has been offering throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you, lululemon. Like the other pieces of lululemon clothing we own, we love our latest purchases. The Pace Breaker shorts fit me perfectly. That's one thing I love about lululemon. I'm a small guy. lululemon clothes fit me perfectly off the rack. Clothes from other brands, even sportswear (e.g. Under Armour), I sometimes have to get altered by a tailor. The Pace Breaker has multiple side pockets, which I prefer, and it has a nifty extra low-profile zip-up pocket too, similar to my other lululemon shorts. They're lightweight, stretchy, and super breathable. I also like lululemon because their stores keep in-stock small sizes that my wife and I wear: small for me and numeric size 4 for my wife. No ordering for us. What we wanted was actually in the store. Maya was the sales associate who helped me. She was fantastic. She could already tell what my style was and what would look good on me. She helped me shop for the right pair of athletic shorts and answered all the questions that I had. She was really friendly. She almost felt like my personal shopper and stylist. I like how the staff writes everyone's name with a dry-erase marker outside their dressing room. Brittany, a PhD student, checked us out. She was also very kind. Based on our interactions with Maya and Brittany, I give this Durham store an A+ in terms of customer service. In the Triangle, aside from this store, there's another permanent lululemon store in Raleigh at the North Hills development and as well as a temporary pop-up store, also in Raleigh, at Crabtree Valley Mall. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service at this store location. Assistant manager was extremely rude and not only would she not accept a return or an even exchange she refused to honor a military discount even though all documentation was available. Two other customers in line walked out after watching her interaction. She seemed irritated that she had been on break and then had to deal with customers. Two other customers walking into the store at the time also turned around and walked out after witnessing her attitude towards a military family. She refused to provide her name but was working at 6:00pm today 6/30 at the North Hills Raleigh location. Also contacted lululemon directly and provided all information of interaction. read more

My 11 yo daughter saved her money to purchase a water bottle, and not even 3 months later the color started to peel. We've always hand washed and air dried this, so it's not due to misuse or harsh dishwasher heat. I emailed customer service for a replacement under their "quality service guarantee" and they claim it works just fine as a cup so there's no replacement. There is no reason the color should be peeling after 3 months and it's basically unable to be used due to shedding of color/lining. All customer service responses take 10 days to receive, so nothing gets resolved. Horrible customer service and crappy guarantee! read more

Lululemon at The Streets at Southpoint is fantastic!!! It has some of the best, fashionable, quality athletic apparel for both women and men, as well as accessories, shoes, and yoga mats. Their clothing is also super comfortable and feel-good and in great style. I enjoyed their huge selection of apparel - they have so many varieties of each type of item. I was so happy with the large selection of hats, for example - I was pleased at how easy it was to find exactly the type of hat I was looking for - their eggshell-white Cinchable Wide Brim Bucket Hat! It is stylish, lightweight, wide-brimmed, and has extra length at the back to provide additional sun protection for the neck. I would like to go back to Lululemon to shop for more! Lululemon is very well-stocked, and the store itself is clean and beautiful (the dressing rooms are shiny and stunning)! The staff are approachable, friendly and warm - they often proactively ask if you're finding everything okay! Lululemon is also located at a prime location at the Streets at Southpoint, which is a beautiful, enormous shopping / dining plaza with a mix of national retailers, contemporary brands, and distinctive shops and dining. FANTASTIC! Location is A+, as it is located outside in the mall. Employees are super helpful & friendly. On this visit, I was looking at a specific bag. I needed help from an employee, because it was a "convertible bag" (backpack, shoulder bag & cross body). He actually had trouble at first, but we figured it out. :D I was sold at that point & the bag - for lululemon pricing - was something I could justify spending $126 (tax included) on. This is my guilty (high price) pleasure store. It is so true that you look fantastic in their clothes! I am a big fan of their pants and workout tops - the material is great and comfortable, it wicks sweat, and many have this silver in the fabric that acts as an antimicrobial to fight body odor. This store specifically has very attentive and personable employees - all super friendly and helpful. They remember your name and set you up with a fitting room quickly. Another nice tidbit is that most of the employees LIVE the lifestyle, whether it's yoga, CrossFit, or just gyms/fitness/health in general. Great location outside of the mall, ample parking, and right in the neighborhood of fantastic eateries such as the Cheesecake Factory, ZinBurger, etc. Extra points to this facility for the girl that helped us out.. She was so patient as my husband searched for his missing credit card. She had a blast entertaining our little baby, and suggested a bunch of great workout facilities after we mentioned we were new to the area. The only down side is that the price is high for their gear, but occasionally you'll find great deals and sales, so take advantage of them as they come along. read more

Always a great experience here! Staff members are always happy to help and provide their opinion (when asked, of course). When I was having issues with my sweat collective discount, they honored it. Love the clothes in the store and typically love all Lululemon locations as the employees are super cheerful and generally want to help. However this is the closest location to my home and just not that warm and fuzzy... yesterday during my visit, no one even said hello. I basically tried items on outside of a dressing room in the mirror (sweatshirts and fleeces) and then had to hunt someone down to find a dressing room for the other items although there were tons of people working. Obviously I don't shop here for the people but in locations where they were nice and helpful, I ended up buying more than what I was looking for. Will Not be returning to this location. I guess if you're not a size 2 college girl, you're not even getting as much as a hello. As someone who is part of sweat collective, I buy a lot of lululemon. I stopped by the location this afternoon, was never greeted, was never asked if I needed help. While I enjoy a peaceful shopping experience, I couldn't help but notice the over eagerness to help the very young women who came in the store. Don't get me wrong, I am under 40, but must not fit the mold of a lululemon shopper. Thus, just ignore. At check out, I was not even asked for a phone number (you know the info that links to your buying info and sweat collective info). I can't say that I buy a lot of apparel from Lululemon, but this location has a lot more to offer than their clothing line. They currently offer classes every weekend, from cardio pop-ups to yoga to crossfit, and they're fantastic {They're even offering a juice tasting this weekend!!} Most days I feel like I'm in the prime of life and have energy to last for days. However, after attending a handful of classes at Lululemon and being shown up by woman that are 15-20 years my senior, I know I have a lot of work to do! I highly recommend following their Facebook Page {www.facebook.com/lululemonDurham} for their latest events. They have great customer service and SOMETIMES offer 20% off the entire store to class members--although I still can't afford to shop there regularly, even with the discount! However, if school doesn't suck up all your funds, their clothing line is always stylish and cardio friendly--it's not just for show. read more

I never thought I'd spend this much on work out gear, but alas, I have succumbed. I was training for my first half marathon when I realized that my (still relatively expensive by my standards ~$50) GapFit capris irritated by back along the waistband. Considering that even Target charges ~$35 for their work out pants, I started to realize that working out at a higher level demanded better gear. After hearing such rave reviews from numerous co-workers and friends, I decided to pay the store a visit. I'm normally a rogue shopper, but heavily bearded Dan was quick to offer to start a fitting room for me, and even stowed my bags from an earlier shopping trip. He provided lots of information about their other styles and the benefits of each, all without being overbearing or putting any pressure on me. He informed me that their fit tends to run a size smaller than you're used to, which made me glad I hadn't purchased a final sale item online without going in to try it on first. I ended up with a pair of capris that were on sale, and fit like a (comfortable) glove. He says that they don't stretch out. Time will tell. There are lots of goodies, like pockets for keys and gels, and a neat cinch waist band that will ensure that I don't have to go drop a pretty penny on a new pair of pants should I lose a few pounds. Apparently their free yoga at 10:30AM on Sundays is a big hit, as well. Update: I wish I would have purchased pants in my normal size. The one-size up I did buy didn't show the "sheen" of being stretched, which is what the guy recommended...however, they're a bit too loose in the waist, and now that I've actually run in them, they do sag a big. I like how attentive the workers are in this facility. Last time I came to visit this store I was on a time crunch and knew what I wanted. The first person who greeted me helped to find what I was looking for yet she slightly insulted my physique. So I would rather not return to this place. I came to return a sports bra that broke in the back. I politely asked a lady at the front of the store if I could get it exchanged or return it for a store credit. She said that I could. When I went up front for them to give me a store credit they said I could not without my membership. I did not buy the bra and received it as a gift. So the lady said i could not get a store credit. I am shocked at the miscommunication from this store. This bra is only 6 months old and with lulu lemon's reputation I am shocked that they did not try to help me. Do not waste your money at this store. I will be shopping here again. They are overpriced anyways. read more

I went into the store this evening looking to replace my favorite pair of leggings that got ruined on a flight home the night before ( they had to be thrown out ) . I love Lululemon's products (who doesn't..? Honestly the clothes are awesome and your body will look banging in them.. I mean will get a good sweat-wicking workout in them) but I feel like a review for a company like this should be for the store and staff, and not the merchandise (since the local location doesn't really have much of a say in that). And when it comes to staff, service, and hospitality, the Southpoint Lulu crew is awesome. I always feel comfortable and welcomed there, and have great chats with everyone. Amazing stuff, price is a lot but the quality is amazing& it's up to you to figure out if it's worth it. Staff is so so nice. I would totally leave them a tip haha. Every time I picked something up, a sales person would just give little tips about the item. & let me tell you, it was packed as well. They definetly know their clothing very,very well. Before I begin let me start by saying I've been a fan and active customer of lululemon for years. Their customer service, knowledge and friendly demeanor are real differentiators in the industry. However the staff at this location surely failed to observe the tenants of basic service during corporate training. I've been to no less than 15 stores across the country and not once have I ever been greeted by less than 4 times by different staffers. This location, with nearly 7 staffers at the store failed to generate a simple hello. Even worse, the party I went with purchased two pair of pants. I so wish she hadn't. Im writing this as I hold the employees of this location accountable. When my guest went to alert the manager of what she witnessed happened, the gentlemen simply shook his head and said thanks. A simple recognition of a possible misunderstanding in our perception versus their reality would have solved everything but Sam(?) lacked basic human empathy. Based on today's very odd treatment I will not be back to shop at this location though I will not hold this interaction over the entire brand unless a pattern develops. read more

I had purchased two pairs of identical leggings from this location a few months ago. One pair held up terribly, continuing to pill and looked significantly worse than the other pair. My sister had a similar issue, and was able to exchange her damaged pair. When I came in to talk to the staff about an exchange, I was treated in a rude condescending manner, and was told I had caused the issue - despite keeping the other pair (which I was wearing at the time) in top shape. The staff was not at all helpful, and seemed very committed to placing all of the blame on me, their customer. Very disappointed with the customer service and quality of products. I was a loyal customer for years, but I won't be shopping there any more. *update: I went to the north hills location today and explained the issue with the leggings, they were very helpful explaining that this style had been completely redesigned due to extreme issues with pilling, they replaced my damaged pair immediately.
