Goat cheese mushroom wrap with sweet potato fries
    Mel Y.

A cute small-town Cafe that has a surprisingly large menu, and slow but friendly service. On a Friday afternoon, this place was bustling. We got here at the exact wrong time with a couple of people ahead of us but after we were seated (35 minutes later), several tables had opened and subsequent folks had zero wait. They have a rather large menu (plus a page of specials) for such a small place that includes breakfast and various egg and pancake dishes, sandwiches, wraps, soups, coffees and teas and sweet items. Items range on average between $10 to 17. Compared to other places in the area, the prices are decent. I enjoyed the chicken Philly sandwich with a salad and the goat cheese and mushroom wrap also got fair reviews (only thing is the mushrooms could have been cooked down a little more). The sweet potato fries weren't oily at all. We got the banana pudding (ok) $6 and the brownie was good but cold. Generally the food is good but probably doesn't use the most quality ingredients and lacks some finesse. The dishes also came on plates that were a bit cramped. They don't seem to have a lot of help around the floor so cleaning up after tables, taking orders and getting your check all aren't quick endeavors. But the server was nice and you feel good supporting a local business. There's a very small foyer and waiting area and it's hard to get someone's attention until they are ready to seat more people. A couple of the tables probably could have been used more efficiently and get customers seated faster (like two people taking up 4 chairs). The parking lot is pretty small and seems like it can fill up. That strip is home to other things like a deli, Thai place, pizza place, nail spa etc. A little further down the road is a small park that has parking as well.

    Lumberjack Breakfast

This is one of the best places in Rockland County for breakfast. I don't get here as often as I would like, but every time I leave raving about the delicious food and wonderful service. Today was no different, we can by just after the place opened and we were able to get seated immediately. (sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but given how great this place is, it's worth a few minutes) My daughter had the French Omelet, my wife had the Lumberjack special, and I had the Banana Bread Nutella French toast from the specials menu. These were all beautifully prepared and delicious. My French Toast was hands down, the best I have ever had. The service was perfect, and the eclectic vibe is always a treat. Can't wait to go back.

This is absolutely the cutest cafe I have ever been to! We met the owner while we were there and she was an absolute doll. I just flew in from LA and I was starving! I had to have the Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Bananas and Strawberries.... YUMM! I ate them to fast with my crispy bacon to even take a pic!!!!! The whole vibe in the cafe is so adorable and welcoming! The food is soooo good and the customer service is phenomenal! If you are looking for a great breakfast spot this is your place! I'm definitely coming back for sure!

What a find Lulu's Cafe is! Nestled in a small strip mall in West Nyack Lulu's is a small yet elegant little cafe on West Nyack Road. Eclectic in its decor, it is an excellent restaurant with a great assortment of breakfast and brunch options. Delicious omelettes, sandwiches and salads can be found. The wait staff is fun, courteous and friendly. And food came out of the kitchen quickly and wonderfully prepared. If you are anywhere in West Nyack and don't want to go to the Palisades Mall to get some boring tasteless chain store grub, then Lulu's is for you. Fair warning, it's a small restaurant without reservations so there may be a wait.

Two Eggs platter with turkey sausage

Very cute and small cafe , perfect for breakfast or brunch. They have a lot of options on the menu. We went with the simple lumberjack platter and the two egg platter with turkey sausage and no complaints ! Also got a delicious latte and Oj. Can get busy fast since it's a small place but definitely worth it. staff was very friendly. We'll be back for sure.

Second time here and as others say it's adorable. Food is great, service even better! Had the lumberjack lol this time an egg cream, and cupcake. Didn't eat again for a week.

Pita Greek offers bowls and salads (with added protein possible for $6-7), pita sandwiches, and big platters that come with two sides and pita bread. We really enjoyed the chicken gyro (tender), spanakopita (generously filled), and the falafel (surprisingly not dry but some people may prefer a crisper texture). For the sides, we enjoyed the chicken lemon soup and beets most. The lentil soup, scallion rice (similar to pilaf), broccoli (large pieces), and fries were ok too, in that order. The bowls and pita sandwiches are $12 base but we were a bit disappointed that the falafel addition to the bowl only came with three smallish pieces. The big platters are probably the way to go if you want shareables, as each separate item can be more than the $20 for the platter. They have a pita sandwich lunch special with a drink too. They also have kids meals and catering. Wish they had moussaka on the regular menu! They display desserts at the counter and they all looked very sweet. I wasn't expecting much in terms of atmosphere but it looked comfortable and clean in the dining area and there was outdoor seating. There's a shared parking lot in the back which is nice for Middletown Road. But otherwise, street parking is possible.

It was difficult to find as there is a small sign by the driveway leading to the parking lot and restaurant. The building is set in, not by the street, and there was no obvious signage. It looks like a simple house in the parking lot. Upon entering, the room felt quaint and cozy. We were immediately seated as we went during the week and it was quiet. Hubby had the pancakes with sausage and I ordered the omelette. The pancakes were tasty and not dense. The sausages were unfortunately 3 small breakfast sausages. For an additional $4, 2 fat sausages would have been nice. My omelette was good but I don't know if I would call it fluffy. The eggs were flat and the only "fluffy" part maybe that the inside of the omelette was slightly undone. Coffee was nice and rich. I gave this place 4 stars because there was nothing wrong and the food was good. Although this place isn't mind blowing, I think if I lived here it would be a nice regular place for brunch. Definitely a place to try for locals.
