    Skirt steak with chimichurri
    Fallon R.

Came here with my boyfriend last night. First they start you with complimentary bread that comes with an herbed butter and a delicious garlic oil that I couldn't get enough of. We both got the skirt steak with chimichurri and it was cooked exactly how we liked. He got a side of fries with his that came out perfectly crispy. He did say the fries could of used a little seasoning. I got maduros with mine and they were also great. Service was excellent and accommodating. The ambiance was also nice. We can't wait to come back and try what else they have on the menu

Early dinner here on a Saturday and the place was empty. Place is nicely decorated and clean. The food was outstanding. We ordered the coconut shrimp, shrimp scampi, and the chicken breast stuffed with shrimp and crab meat. We ordered the banana bread for dessert. And WOW just WOW! Everything was simply delicious. And the staff were very attentive and super nice. I really hope this place gets the recognition it deserves and that people actually come here more often. Since moving to Rockland from Manhattan, I've had a hard time finding restaurants worth eating at. And no one in Rockland gives food reviews so it's hard to find a good restaurant. Pls eat here, you will not be disappointed.

The food here was amazing and the service was soooo good when I came with my family weeee loved it. I tried to come back with friends, but we had to leave because the bartender said she doesn't take out-of-state IDs (??) even though everyone with us was 25+ and she was super short about it. Kinda a bummer because I really wanted my friends to have the same great experience I did the first time!!!

i was really excited to try this new place based on some of the photos I saw online but I ended up being a little disappointed. since they are new, I will cut them some slack but the service was slow. took us about 2.5 hours to have dinner. the menu is great but honestly the food is just okay. the interior is really nice and the bar looks like a fun place to hang out for drinks after work. not sure if I will give this place another try.

2nd time here. I would suggest making reservations because it was very busy last night. The service was great. I really enjoyed the pear martini.

Food was really good and presented nicely. The Ambiance of the restaurant (Monday night) was nice! Not to crowded or loud. . server was super friendly and knowledgeable as well. Highly recommend the Brusetta. Nice place 10/10!!

My wife and I, along with another couple, had dinner at Sage Bar and Grille last night, and we were thoroughly impressed. It was our first visit, and everything--from the food to the ambiance--exceeded expectations. The evening started off strong with appetizers: the shrimp tacos were bursting with flavor, and our friends thoroughly enjoyed the crabcakes. For mains, my wife had the coconut-crusted halibut special, which was cooked to perfection--crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. I went with the Chicken Di Parma, which came with Penne in a rich vodka sauce, and it was equally fantastic. We ended the meal on a high note with a homemade chocolate espresso mousse cup, which was amazing. Our server was attentive and professional, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Josh, the owner, who went above and beyond--stopping by our table multiple times and even treating us to complimentary after-dinner drinks. His warm hospitality made a lasting impression. We're always on the lookout for standout dining experiences in Rockland and northern NJ, and Sage Bar and Grille has definitely earned a spot in our regular rotation. Highly recommended!

Food was expertly prepared and delicious. Staff was attentive, patient and helpful. Decor has an 80's vibe, imo, but in a good way.

The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. The staff were very kind to my children and service was attentive, the busboy/girl, waiter, and bartender were all quick to help whenever we needed something. I had the shrimp tacos again, which were juicy and flavorful.
