Vegetarian Breakfast
Lisa N.

I've gone into Grace Rose quite a few times to pick up the real deal Cadbury Chocolates. I was finally able to get here for a quick bite to eat. This is not a full table service kind of place. You pick a table and order at the counter. The staff is always friendly there! The counter worker did seem a little frazzled today and mentioned that she's been non stop all day. The food came out fairly quickly and very tasty! All three of us enjoyed our food and got scones to go. I plan to go back with my cousin for a full Afternoon Tea. (And maybe some quiche to go)! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very cozy and bright inside without being on top of the table next to you - def on the more casual side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Of course, I left w/ some Cadbury chocolates too!

Always a delicious, large breakfast and nice hot coffee. Friendly staff/owner. Also, a tremendous amount of Irish cookies, candies and chocolates. Highly recommend you stop in and grab a bite to eat

Food was all overcooked. The eggs were supposed to be over medium, and they were cooked all the way through. The bacon was tough and chewy. All very bland. Not for me.

Solid breakfast fare, very Irish Came to this location because there was a ton of Irish restaurants in the area and this one offered a bunch of breakfast fare. Came in as soon as they opened, and the place was very quiet. They are decked out to be a quaint tea shop with all the grocery items of local migrants or travelers trying to recapture their home. Staff were friendly and helped me navigate the menu boards. One of my bucket list items was having a full English breakfast and this was a full Irish breakfast. Didn't know there was a difference, so I opted for the full Irish breakfast experience. Also got a pot of tea and a plain scone to nibble on. Tea and scone came out first. Scone was dry, slightly sweet, and a little crumbly. The sweet cream helped a lot, along with the jam. Probably would've enjoyed it more a little warmed up, but it was a true scone and not a muffin outside of a tin. I'm not a fan of tea, but they offer a full Irish tea service so I had to try the tea. It was regular tea, needed milk and Splenda to be drinkable. But I can say the same for coffee, so although not my taste it was decent enough. The full Irish breakfast was good but some misses. The potatoes were boiled and lightly coated in seasoned salt. Very much a filler, no real prep beyond cooking and serving. The eggs were cooked well, the sausages were meaty and not overly greasy. The brown bread was tasty with a healthy smear of Irish butter. Needed to be warmed up or toasted though. Ham was tough, the beans were sweet but the right texture. The black and white pudding were tasty but not to my texture preference (too mushy) Overall, a pretty solid breakfast. It's not my flavor profiles, and there were some items that needed a touch more care. But as a breakfast spot, it dons its namesake well.

Amazing restaurant- came for St Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage my brother had pot pie and beef barley soup and sister in law had a traditional Irish breakfast all were delicious. After talking to the owner she brought a sampling of their pastries They have the Best Scones I've ever had-fresh light soft and tasty- highly recommend this place- when you enter go to the counter order what you want then sit and wait for them to serve you. Everything was original, homemade and delicious [[HIGHLIGHT]]lovely decor and staff[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Another fabulous meal at the Gracie Rose. The staff are warm and welcoming, and all of the food is fresh and delicious. Traditional Irish foods and goodies as well as a variety of other options.

Had a delicious Irish Breakfast. That, along with some Irish Breakfast tea just made my day

This adorable cafe is a hidden (and new) gem. The décor is super cute. I love the mismatched tea pots & cups. You must order from the counter and they will bring you your order when it's ready. We each had the vegetarian egg platter with whole wheat toast and shared a "tea for two". It was very tasty. Since it was a birthday celebration so we ended with a Nutella crape with bananas. This was more pancake than crape... but how can you go wrong with Nutella anything.

Such a cute breakfast spot!! (Very Instagramable!) There aren't too many adorable breakfast restaurants in the area, so this is truly a gem! The food is so fresh and delicious. The decor is gorgeous and the service is excellent! I loved my breakfast burrito and my mom loved "the American."

An overall nice experience on a Friday morning at this little old casual cafe; they're only open…read more8-5 except Sundays. They also do catering. Breakfast is served until 11:30 and they have a a few egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches and French toast. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and liked the egg, potatoes (mixture of white and sweet, which was nice), and toast except the toast was hard pieces of baguette ($10). The omelette with potatoes was a pretty plate and good even though the cheese was initially forgotten. They also have sandwiches, salads, burgers and pizza on the menu, the latter of which is made in a brick oven. The pastries didn't look that fresh or enticing but we didn't order any so can't comment on the quality. There's indoor and outdoor seating and service was very nice. They have a shared parking lot with other businesses and more parking out back. Very close to Hungry hollow food coop so make a stop there if you have time!

During our past few visits we have sampled seasonal offerings and specials and were delighted with our selections. Portions are large so there's plenty for sharing or leftovers. Staff are extremely friendly and you can choose from bar area seating or a more family-friendly dining room. There is ample seating in both the bar or restaurant side. I usually opt for the bar side because we usually are out before the late night crowd starts to head in. We ordered the big wings for an appetizer in the Carolina bbq but devoured them before I was able to get a photo. They're delicious and fresh and have the perfect amount of sauce to them. I was not super hungry so I just ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. It was huge I felt I kept eating and didn't even make a dent so I brought it home. My boyfriend ordered their special steak sandwich with a side of fries. He said it was cooked to his medium rare temperature and well flavored. The fries are always extra crispy here too! I have been on an espresso martini kick and it truly is one of the best places for one around. Sweet and simply made. My boyfriend ordered his favorite ipa from the alchemist brewing company that they luckily carried here! Parking can be tricky on weekends so we did have to walk a little bit further but not an issue as it was a nice fall evening. Service is great and I do like that they've added to their menu once you're done with your meal if it's busy they can ask for your table.

We had a pretty good happy hour here with a group of about 15 colleagues…read more Drinks were all good, food was good, the bar area got rather hot although and it wasn't even crowded. Not too comfortable. Service was generally fine. Our server took care of us in the bar area, but she also had to deal with tables in the dining room. She did a good job. There must be another bar somewhere else because it seemed like our drinks weren't prepared behind the bar. They'd take a while to prepare after ordering and then come trickling in from somewhere else. The pickle chips, shishito peppers, wings (dry rub and buffalo), chicharon, were all great. Everyone especially liked the bee sting flatbread. The Queen flatbread was rather basic and not too popular, but I think it's supposed to be plain. Something else disappointing for me was that they don't have happy hour specials or a happy hour menu. Everything had to come from the main menu. Not much incentive for a group hitting the local spots for a fun happy hour.

Service was good and food was good as well at the Hearth and Tap this visit. We ordered two of the…read morespecial appetizers and each were just okay. The empanadas would have been very good if cooked a bit longer since they were a bit gummy inside. The shrimp ceviche was served in red sauce and was absent of a decent amount of shrimp. It was tasty but more of a salsa rather than a ceviche. The rib special lacked the promise of the flavors of the chipotle bbq sauce that was promised and described in the menu -- the pork lacked flavor. The chicken Milanese appeared to have been deep fried in a fryer rather than pan fried per tradition. This made the thin slices a bit tough and chewy which was unexpected. Disappointing that I didn't listen to my server who tried to steer me in a different direction as he advised. We haven't been wowed here the last three visits but will give it another shot in a few weeks to see if things have changed for the better. Listen to your servers, people!!
