Finally stopped in here after hearing good things for a while! They are an authentic Irish restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was bright and spacious and we had no problem finding a table at 11 am on a Sunday. My dining companion both enjoyed the American breakfast. It was a nice portion for $10 and the American sausage was particularly tasty. They had a nice selection of Irish snacks and a prepared food section also. I've gone into Grace Rose quite a few times to pick up the real deal Cadbury Chocolates. I was finally able to get here for a quick bite to eat. This is not a full table service kind of place. You pick a table and order at the counter. The staff is always friendly there! The counter worker did seem a little frazzled today and mentioned that she's been non stop all day. The food came out fairly quickly and very tasty! All three of us enjoyed our food and got scones to go. I plan to go back with my cousin for a full Afternoon Tea. (And maybe some quiche to go)! Solid breakfast fare, very Irish Came to this location because there was a ton of Irish restaurants in the area and this one offered a bunch of breakfast fare. Came in as soon as they opened, and the place was very quiet. They are decked out to be a quaint tea shop with all the grocery items of local migrants or travelers trying to recapture their home. Staff were friendly and helped me navigate the menu boards. One of my bucket list items was having a full English breakfast and this was a full Irish breakfast. Didn't know there was a difference, so I opted for the full Irish breakfast experience. Also got a pot of tea and a plain scone to nibble on. Tea and scone came out first. Scone was dry, slightly sweet, and a little crumbly. The sweet cream helped a lot, along with the jam. Probably would've enjoyed it more a little warmed up, but it was a true scone and not a muffin outside of a tin. I'm not a fan of tea, but they offer a full Irish tea service so I had to try the tea. It was regular tea, needed milk and Splenda to be drinkable. But I can say the same for coffee, so although not my taste it was decent enough. The full Irish breakfast was good but some misses. The potatoes were boiled and lightly coated in seasoned salt. Very much a filler, no real prep beyond cooking and serving. The eggs were cooked well, the sausages were meaty and not overly greasy. The brown bread was tasty with a healthy smear of Irish butter. Needed to be warmed up or toasted though. Ham was tough, the beans were sweet but the right texture. The black and white pudding were tasty but not to my texture preference (too mushy) Overall, a pretty solid breakfast. It's not my flavor profiles, and there were some items that needed a touch more care. But as a breakfast spot, it dons its namesake well. read more

This adorable cafe is a hidden (and new) gem. The décor is super cute. I love the mismatched tea pots & cups. You must order from the counter and they will bring you your order when it's ready. We each had the vegetarian egg platter with whole wheat toast and shared a "tea for two". It was very tasty. Since it was a birthday celebration so we ended with a Nutella crape with bananas. After a few cups of it I was vibrating on the way home. We got the ham and Irish cheddar sandwich. It was tasty. However, I wish there more options for lighter sandwiches. I chose the cranberry and white chocolate scone and my friend chose the blueberry scone. The cranberry scone was delicious. I found the blueberry scone to be very cakey and more like a muffin. I was disappointed with the cream served with the scones. I was expecting clotted cream and instead it was sweetened whipped cream. It was too sweet to enjoy with the jam. Lovely little tea room, just perfect for meeting a friend or stopping in after some local shopping. The tables are small and there aren't a lot, so you might have to wait a bit if it's busy. I grabbed a seat at the little counter at the front after paying for a pot of tea for two and two delicious scones. My friend showed up a few minutes later. We spent almost two hours catching up with what was happening in our lives. We never felt rushed. I wish I lived a little closer, but you can be sure when I'm in Pearl River it will be my choice for an after pick-me-up. read more

I was on Yelp and looking for a new place to eat. I saw reviews about this relatively new, local spot. So my boyfriend and I went. It's adorable on the inside! Very instagrammable and quaint. Also pretty spacious. They have plenty of Irish goods lining the walls to purchase. From marmite, Cadbury chocolates and different gravy. We came to try the afternoon tea for 2. They have 5 or so options for the sandwiches, which we got ham and cheddar and another with ham, onion, lettuce and salad dressing. Both delightful, but I like the ham with the salad dressing more. I want to try the chicken sandwich next time. You also pick a scone (my boyfriend got blueberry and I got cranberry/white chocolate.) they both come with a pack of jam and clotted cream. There was also 4 mini desserts (rainbow cakes, a fruit tart and a cream puff) I also enjoyed the pot of tea that came with it, it tasted like an English black tea. This all was for $32, around 34$ in change with taxes included. We also got a steak and mushroom pie to go. Overall, I loved the experience and could see how this would be great as a little surprise or date for someone. The prices are fair. Also, you order and pay at the counter. Then they bring you the food. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. The lady that ring me up was very personable and she made it even more of an enjoyable experience. Will definitely come again! Also it's a street parking situation, but there's usually a lot of parking around. Have some change, maybe $0.50 worth for 1hour. read more

They don't have the typical waitress takes the order way of doing business you go up to the counter and order and then they bring you your food. Not a bad thing just different. Food is OK but not for the price, it's to expensive for the meal your get. If you order a burger or sausage you get an entire plate of fries and very little of the actual item you ordered. Given the prices they charge go elsewhere you can get much better food for cheaper anywhere in pearl river. Ambience is nice- for what it's worth. read more

Not from the area, and was thinking about having breakfast at one of the common diners in the area. My daughter suggested I look in Yelp for something a little different, and we found it! A nice little gem that could be easily missed, gave us not only great food, but a great experience. It has an Irish theme, with several selection directly from the Isle! I tried the traditional breakfast with eggs, Irish sausage and Irish bacon, black and white pudding, potatoes, and baked beans. We also tried some freshly baked scones.
