Of course it's a little pricey, because it's ballpark food. Lots of food to choose from - hot dogs (of course), pizza, chicken, BBQ, nachos, popcorn, the usual stuff you expect to see. This park has two playgrounds, two baseball diamonds, and a splash pad with a sensor. There was a paved walking trail that I saw a few people besides myself using. What was really awesome was there were two tortoise dens here, I saw a huge Eastern Gopher Tortoise, they are endangered, I think it is so cool that this giant tortoise almost as big as my dog was just hanging out, looking at us. This park is on Old Tanner Williams Road, which dead ends at Big Creek Lake, the main reservoir for Mobile County. That section of the road is gated off to vehicles, there is a large gate blocking access, so if you want access to Big Creek Lake, just drive to Fox Landing in Semmes off of Halls Mills Road, it dead ends at the lake. This is an epic (seriously, Hollywood level production) Christmas light show paired to the holiday music streaming on the radio of your car, and Hank Aaron Stadium knocked it out of the park! (See what I did there? Lol!) The show, the ease of navigating the layout, the directions, the innovation, the LIGHTS (my God -- the beautiful lights), the song selection, the comfort of enjoying from inside your vehicle and not freezing to death outside -- I loved all 20ish minutes of it! Everything was fabulous and like nothing I (nor the hubs) had every witnessed before! Mobile definitely knows how to put on a Christmas Light Show, and if you know like I know-- you'll grab your kid(s), grab $6 bucks per head over 3 yrs old, and get down to the stadium before the CNOL season ends. They have a small parking lot in the back or you can park along the side of the street. This park has swings, slides, monkey bars and even a zipline to keep your children occupied. They have a covered pavillion with 2 BBQ grills which is excellent for a birthday party. I recommend you get there early because this park fills up quick! Theres plenty of natural shade from all the trees and they even have a restroom for you to use. Theres plenty of grass space for you to sit down and have a picnic as well. Theres random benches around the park and they even have some rocking swings. They have a xylophone to play and also drums for your musician talented kids. They have tons of swings and also swings for toddlers who cant hold on the chains. They even have a swing where you and your child can swing at the same time! There is no pets allowed so please leave your fury friends at home. This park is also very close to the beach as well so why not pack your bags on a lovely day out of the week and go enjoy a picnic here and after that go to the beach.
