Always ready to find a new burger place and this place didn't disappoint!! I got the 1/3 lb Burger and the wood chips which are giant deep fried onion chips ( they look like fried fish in the photos). Burger was extremely hot, and Super Super Fresh. It was not one of those burgers that are frozen patties. This was hand-patted out. The Onion chips, had thick beer batter on them and they were delicious. Service is quick and good! It's a pub...so it has a pub feel to the place. read more

Great atmosphere, band (Groove Council, yeaaa), drinks, and attention to patrons ability to carry on conversation with music playing. The sound system shows how the owners care about their peeps. Selfishly, I hesitate to let this review out cause if a friend already inside last Saturday hadn't come to the door & said she had saved me a seat, I wouldn't have gotten in... Went there on a sat afternoon to meet some friends,never been there and this place is awesome,the food ( i had italian sub) was fantastic on thier homemade bread ,best ive had in a long while,the mushrooms where awesome too. Prices were right in line with anywhere else youd go portions go above average , i split one and was still full . Service was good ,staff was friendly it has that corner bar atmosphere the place was clean. Will definatley go back and would recomend to others all in all A+ expiiriance read more

Lol Interesting. No real complaints. The charcuterie board was deli meat (cept for the house smoked ham slices DELICIOUS) cheese on the $15 platter was sliced.. Idk it was good tho. The fried bread is outstanding and was awesome with a few $2 domestic bottles. Atmosphere is good it's nice that they have garage doors open creating open air windows. Cute little bandstand complete with drum set on the back wall, i bet it's super cool when they have live music. I'm a local. Only worth going when they have live music on the weekend. You may get service then. Going during the week is awful unless you are willing to yell at a bartender. If you are an introvert, you will wait up to ten minutes or longer to get served. Dragonmead and Club 11 will give you better service. read more

Great BBQ. I had the St a Louis style ribs. Very meaty and well smoked. The sauce was rich and sweet. I usually don't care for sweet sauce but thick and tasty. Down side is no inside seating. Picnic tables with a gazillion flies. read more

This is an awesome place to spend a Saturday night. From a transparency perspective, i am admittedly difficult to please and do not find myself writing reviews often. So, we found the lumberyard by accident about a year ago and loved it. There's a great casual, fun, & welcoming vibe- the waitstaff are seriously amazing. Every time we've been here, we have had excellent service by an engaging friendly team. Now here's the shocker- the food is nothing like 'bar' food; they have a small but excellent menu. We live a good 45 min away and pass a lot of great bars along the way- the lumberyard is worth the drive every time! read more

Great food, awesome live music, fast service! Always clean and upbeat. Absolutely no drama and the waitstaff are super accommodating and friendly. My favorite place to go to let loose and have some fun! In the summertime they have an outdoor patio which is nice if you want to be outdoors but still hear the music. read more

Walked in and walked out! 1. Guy behind the bar greeted us with a sour face, arms crossed and a stare. Asked if the grill was open (9pm) and his answer, "no". There wasn't a sorry included or a sit and have a drink welcoming. So feeling like uninvited guests we left. 2. Smells horrible - dirty ash trays and old bleach water! 3. Looked cool. Have been looking foreword to trying out this place. Have heard the food was incredible! I ordered chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was half the size of the bun. Fries were greasy and burned. Friend ordered nachos. Could not eat them. Other friend ordered patty melt. Again, the meat was half the size of the bun. I don't think it's unreasonable to want the meat size to match the bun size. Needless to say no one in the group of 9 were impressed. Waitress was kind enough to take the fries and nachos off the bill. Very disappointed. Not sure if it was an off Sunday for the cook? Went here for a retirement party with about 15 people at 11am on the dot (they had JUST opened), and they accommodated us no problem. The food was reallyyyy good and the staff members were super friendly and did a great job. The inside looks really cool. So happy we gave this place a shot. Really awesome service and great food. It's been several years since our last visit here. They've got the 'dive bar' nailed. Service was spotty, although it got better as the wait staff warmed up, the food was marginal at best. The breaded mushrooms were hot and tasty, the cheese sticks were cold and undercooked. The bartender appeared to be pouring liquor freehand from bottles with no pour spouts - so no consistency. The addition of the two overhead doors really opened the place up. Our biggest complaint is: Everything we touched was sticky. The chairs, the table tops, bathroom door handles. My hand stuck to the understand of the chair when I was sliding it up to the table. GROSS! If a kinda dirty dive bar is what you seek, here it be! read more

Awesome little place! Fun menu..food is surprisingly good. Better than you would expect for a dive bar. Hubby and i live across the street, so we go every few months to unwind and hang out, sometimes just the two of us..sometimes with friends. if you are looking for a few good strong drinks and some pool with friends, this is your place! We had a going away party here and the owner and staff were fantastic. Reserved tables for us and made sure everyone had what they needed all night long. The food was a surprise, a delightful surprise. They passed my grilled ham and cheese test, it was perfect. Restaurants often can mess up a simple grilled ham and cheese. They passed and my husband and I will be back. Someone else in our party ordered the fried mushrooms and they were large mushrooms. After eating there this afternoon their name should be changed to grubs and pus. Food is overpriced and greasy. After first returning a bad order of wings I got the same wings re-dipped in oil and my same re-heated fries. The owner's wife was the cook so I don't expect much from this place.
