We had a work happy hour and this place was chosen as our meet up. I've never been here before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Pulling up, the place was busy for a Wednesday night in October, which is good to see. The place has tons of seating and a big bar area. They have happy hour specials during the week and regular meals as well. We had a group of about 10 and reserved a table. We ordered a bunch of appetizers that we passed around, all of which were tasty. We literally ordered one of everything! Here's some of my favorites: The mini tacos, breadsticks, along with a few others. those two I really enjoyed the most. Sadly, the dip that came with the chips and dip appetizer looked like reheated velveeta cheese. It was spicy but just looked warmed over. Our server did a great job handling our large table of 10, and after scouring their menu, I think I might come back here to eat more food. They seem to have a great beer selection as well! read more

BEWARE: Shady billing here. $3 domestic beers were actually $5 each. $6 call drinks were $9. Half-off pizza was really 25% off after toppings added. Large upcharge for using credit cards too. Some food items were overpriced, like $13.95 for 4 chicken tenders??? For that price the chicken better give me a back massage. That said, good bar for music, decent crowds... Overall, this is a nice hangout spot, especially when they have live music. The food is quite over priced though and I'm disappointed they got rid of their $3, $4 and $5 apps during happy hour. If you decide to get food, I highly recommend the chicken strips with ranch. read more

Opening day for tigers- met up with a crowd of about 25. For about the 1st hour- only one server - with about 25 other people there. Wow- she was amazing- everyone was fed and watered on time. First time here, even though I live only a few minutes away. I was very happy that the experience turned out well. Order Fish & Chips it was way above average. The fish battery is more of a Asian tempura style, lite and crispy. You can tell that both fish & batter are seasoned before frying. Had a beer from the tap, decent selection. Service was good also. I always look for new places to eat, but sometimes it's better to look back at past experiences that we're good in the past but just got away from for unknown reasons, I always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Freddy's bar and decided to look at there menu again in doing so I spotted an add for a special fish and chips, being a seafood lover I went for it, and am glad I did the fish was cooked to perfection and also the fries it had a very affordable price and the atmosphere was still enjoyable, I will be going back with others Freddy's was just as I remembered it, the food was terrific but I want to explore more of the menu. read more

OK let me start off by saying I used to come here about a decade ago when I used to ride. Fast forward to now me and my fiancé bought a Harley Davidson and this is now officially a Thursday night spot. I take the road king up here enjoy the band and the amazing cocktails and get this!!!, there is stores even shopping! I got an awesome shirt here from the selection in the back corner lol I ended up in some amazing jeans with rhinestones on them of course it's all for bikers so don't expect anything too fancy :-) the fact that the bartender creates his own cocktails and the one I have pictured below is by far the absolute best cocktail I've ever had! They have their regulars but all waitresses are so nice! Freddy's is nearby to our home! And I never seen a band that was bad here! The first time I visited, it was Customer Appreciation Day - free food with a live 2-man band! They also have dollar burgers on Sunday, dollar sliders on Monday, half off Pizza Thursdays. I like the open (garage-door) front wall. It truly makes for an open-air experience. I have visited twice and like the place overall. I ate both times and my meals were very good. The waitresses provided good service, one time there was live music and the next time an overhead screen was pulled down to provide big-screen coverage of the sports of the day. I saw a mostly a middle-aged to older crowd when I visited during the afternoon hours. I suppose a lot of them are regulars, so it was not surprising to see wait staff conversing with them (especially when I heard pleasantries exchanged on a first name basis). This is definitely on my list for repeat visits. read more

A total 1.5 and even if that! The acoustics are half par to The Machine Shop, $27 for a bucket of cheap beer is an insult as well. We had fun, but wow, it felt like Pine Knob and Aerosmith/Metallica was playing for those prices! The food? My wife and I decided to finally get out and explore this new side of town we'd moved to. After several stops, a bartender at another place said "try Freddie's...if they're open, you'll have a good time". "If they're open?" I asked. "Well, see, sometimes people drink and they forget to open up the next day...things happen." Awesome. I'm in. So we went there, and it's a decent enough place. Some highlights of the evening: 1. We were there precisely thirteen minutes (I looked when we walked in, and then I looked when this happened because I couldn't believe it) before one of the female bartenders was telling us about her two hastily (and recently) taken pregnancy tests. Time to put on your drinking helmets kids...this place "has character". Any plans to go elsewhere went out the window, because I was determined to see what else evolved in this place as the night went on. Friends were called. Babysitters were procured. This is now "where things will happen tonight". 2. Upon getting into a discussion about the skull shaped decanter (again, damn you Yelp for not allowing photo uploads...) with another female bartender...well, nothing makes you feel old as when you say "Oh yeah, Dan Akroyd is behind that label, I remember reading about it" and the hot, young chick behind the bar cocks her head like a confused puppy and says "Who's Dan Akroyd?" 3. There were stand up comics there. While not necessarily the *best* venue for stand up comedy, it actually would've probably helped if they would've turned down the tv's so people would've focused on the comics instead of...well, one TV was showing some children's dance recital, obviously home video'd...I'm assuming the owner's kid or something (total "WTF?" moment), others had random channels on...it's not like there was a game or anything on that night. Got a few laughs, had a good time. 4. The drink prices were decent, beer, mixed, shots...no complaints on that front. To comment on an earlier review, I guess my complaint is that apparently you have to be 50+ for the scantily dressed, barely 20 waitress to flirt with you. But at least now I have something to look forward to if I'm still going there in over a decade... ...but seriously, the waitresses and bartenders were yep, on the young-ish side (early 20's), yep, cute, and yep, typically seemed to be paying more attention to "the regulars" than the casual drive-by customers...but I guess you can't blame them for thinking "long term". I will say that once the drinking hats were firmly on and in place for the night (and you people realize that this is a euphemism, right? there aren't any literal hats, we just got serious about ordering and drinking), they perked right up and paid a whole lot of attention to us throughout the rest of the night and we never had any problems (and it was a mixed group, guys and girls, 30's and 40's) running low on drinks. I've been back twice since this original time, and same vibe, same feel, same everything, really. No comics, which I had thought there were going to do on a regular basis, but I guess I'll just keep an eye out for that. I guess one night I was there was the aforementioned "open jam" night...that was probably my shortest time there...I'm not really sure what *was* going on up on stage...but calling it "music" would be an awfully polite stretch. It's close enough to home to be a good "on the corner" bar, so I'll definitely be going back. read more

Been here a few times to catch some of our favorite local bands. Very fun environment, lots of guitars on the wall, and rock and roll photos/records. Awesome staff. The server we have had the past few times was very kind. The food did take a little while longer, but no worries as the longer it takes, the more live music you get to hear. The food is well made. The 1/2 off pizza Thursdays is a great deal, plus live music, which has became a family tradition of ours. read more

(Wings, Sliders, Pizza, Ribs, Tacos) They have some kind of entertainment going on every night of the week! Alot of heavy hitting local bands and some national touring acts as well. Giving this place a little bump here. It's a nice bar. Pretty clean, people are generally nice, and the food is generally really good. Wing night is a great value. Service is sometimes lackluster (especially on wing night) and Trivia on the same night can be annoying. Seems like wings could be cooked for a bit longer as they're a little too juicy and not crispy enough by default. They hold a lot of cool events and are very involved in the community, which I'm thankful for. read more

Up until two weeks ago I used to go to Freddys every Thursday for Bike night. We went two weeks ago and they downsized their menu for bike night only. I asked if I could get a salad and they told me no it was not on the menu. I asked why the new menu and she said to make it easier on them. To me there's nothing easier to make than a salad. Other than that I have enjoyed this place. I hope they bring their menu back so I can change this review back to a higher score. read more

Used to go there pre-Covid all the time! Used to take our grandchildren up there on Sundays after church and easily spend $100 on sliders chicken strips and so on! They rent 1/2 the place out on a regular basis mainly to non-profits who are allowed to roam over on the other side annoying their customers shoving 50/50 tickets, looking for donations to their causes and so on! Last straw was when we were up there annoyed and put on the spot by women seeking hand outs for their cause while our waiter was swearing up a storm right in front of us about how he refused to stay any later serving the people at the non profit party dropping the f bomb constantly on how they don't tip snd so on and do on. I wrote and complained, management never even responded back! Shows me and everyone else how they feel about their non-nonprofit paying customers! This was the first time we ordered carry out from this restaurant. we specifically called to ask if fries came with the sandwiches and burgers and the person on the phone told us they do. We get home and no fries at all. We call back and they say no they don't come with fries that it may have been someone new that told us that. So I paid $13 for a burger that was lousy another burger that they didn't get right, and French onion soup that was so salty we couldn't eat it. What a terrible restaurant. read more

My only complaint was the scantily dressed (barely 20) waitress was more into flirting with older (50+) guys than serving paying customers. They have really good food and are decently priced. They always have specials everyday, but the last three times my husband and I went here it took forever to even be acknowledged that we were there. Today there were tons of empty tables and we sat there for about 15 minutes before finally leaving before anyone came to our table, and I'm pretty sure they didn't even notice we left without being served! read more

In January I reserved some tables here since Planet of Fun was playing in February around my birthday. They have a good following so to me the earlier the better. However, to Freddy's the earlier the forgotten. My party of 40 was not acknowledged because another party came in the night before and reserved tables. The staff gave them my tables. Who knows what the heck was done to have this happen (maybe they should implement procedures for the future). So here we are - 2 parties of 40. Since we were all adults we worked it out. It was frustrating; but, not life altering. I have to say I am happy I had it in writing because they did not say anything afterwards. I do not think this bar has ever had this many people show up at one time; or for that matter all night. They had 2 bartenders and 2 wait staff. Needless to say they were slammed because we stayed until close. I heard some things about different shots tried and were not good - that happens when you open up and try something new. Some people like it and some do not. A few with the service; but, it was expected when the place is shorthanded. Or were they caught off guard? Once again - procedures people. A few of us ate appetizers and they were normal. Nothing to say I have to go back and try other food. If I am there again I will try something else. Overall, we all had a great time dancing, rocking, drinking and talking. Not one person in my party was disappointed with the band. read more
