Initially saw them on IG, and saw them again on Yelp while searching for nearby nails salons. I'm SO glad I came here. They took really good care of me and my nails. They did offer me a beverage: water, soda. I showed my nail tech, Annie, a design I had in mind, and we adjusted it a little to create this amazing design! In and out of the shop in about 2 hrs ! Hannah did a WONDERFUL job on my nails. I asked for this swirly black design and she was very particular and so was Jasmine for my gel pedicure. I'm gonna shout out jasmine in particular because it's so incredibly hard to find someone who does a great job on my feet. So many people screw up my feet and I see leftover polish around the cuticle and I ask them to fix it.. it's just a whole thing. I'm honestly never satisfied with my pedicures and Jasmine was the honest first person who did such a great job that I actually love how my feet look. To Hannah and Jasmine thank you for such a great job. I got my nails done here for the first time with Annie in January for a red nail job and she also did amazing. I give a 4 star for 2 reasons, one because I just got them done so I wanna see how long they hold up and because of the extra fees being the removal and design fees. They did try to explain the removal fee to me, I've just never paid for that before and they said next time it wouldn't be a charge so if that's the case, awesome. The design fee wasn't explained to me which is my fault, but I'd love if nail salons were honest about all of that especially in this economy. Just me being honest, I'm all about everything being straight forward, so that just bugged me a bit. Besides some of the fee prices, the place itself is super cute, I love how organized and streamlined it is, their nail techs Annie, Hannah and Jasmine are great. I was recently looking for a new nail spot near my house and came across lumina nail lounge. As soon as you walk in you're greeted rather quickly by staff. The store is decorated super cute which is great for pictures after getting my nails done. The ladies here were so sweet and service is great. 2nd time here and honestly my 1st experience was great so i came back, my 2nd time here was terrible i didnt get my nails done by the sams girl i did the first time because i didn't get her name but this time i got them done by a different girl i don't know if she was new or not understandable my first time here annie did my nails she did a great job i showed her my inspo and did them exactly the same, this time again terrible just by the way she applied them! I got gel x she applied so much glue as she was curing them with the blue light it was burning my nails so bad i dont know if it was because she added so much glue after i told her i wanted c curve in the tip i showed her my inspo picture and she still didn't get it the nails were crooked and at this point i was getting frustrated i told her i could wait for the girl that did my nails the 1st time but she was with a costumer but i told her i didn't mind waiting its understandable she said okay and she kept giggling which is fine because there not paying for my nails! The girl that did my nails the first time showed her how to do them she did 1 nails and she got it right away i said yeah like that so the girl said oooh but she kept getting them wrong So another girl helped me out i dont know if shes the one in charge but like i said i didnt mind waiting for the girl that helped me the 1st time ( annie ) who i wanted i wont be back due to lack of bad service from the other girls! I got light beige overlay When i wanted pink like the inspo picture! I paid 80$ +tip thats fine but once i left i went to another nail salon and i got them removed too much glue they felt really thick! Other nail salon said they damaged my nail beds ill upload pictures! With inspo pic durning and after and when i got them removed you could see how the glue burned my actual nail The girl that finished my nails at this salon said Gel x isnt for c curve because gel x is more natural but why would they tell me that once your almost done with my nails why didn't they tell me that in the beginning of a recommendation I would've got something else but she said when she was almost done so no i wont be back read more

I came here for a pedicure and June was great. She was very friendly and the service took a little less than a hour. If you pay with cash it's slightly cheaper than with card. The interior is spacious and open -- a peaceful place to get your nails done. Make sure to make an appointment so you don't have to wait, in general it's nice to just show up and they're ready for you. read more

Lumina Nails Lounge is AWESOME!! This is my second time going and everything was perfect. I had requested a certain style of nail (think 90's curved nails) and Chloe was able to create them and then refill them to perfection. She also gave me a heads up on another technician that is great at the "oldie" style of nails, in case she is not available. I had Jasmine doing my pedicure and she was terrific. The nail tech was very nice and made good recommendations, but it wasn't until later I noticed I had ski-lift nails. There was too much glue and my nails pointed upward. Honestly it could be more my mistake but be cautious and look for this before you get a set read more

I went in to get my nails filled and I had French tips and after she added the acrylic I asked if we could just clear coat it because I liked the color and how natural it was and the nail artist told me "it will look weird" which kinda off put me because I felt pressured into just letting her do whatever she wanted. Right as I was paying I noticed the polish was already peeling and chipping so I asked if they could fix it before I left. After fixing it I left and noticed majority of my nails were already peeling so I called and they told me to come in a few hours later. I come in again and she redoes the top coat in my nails and says "this happens sometimes" and the French tips were all different and my nails continues to peel and chip later that night. Before I left she told me she was 90% sure they will stay on and if they didn't she said "sometimes it just happens"...honestly I'm very disappointed that I paid 65 for a fill, had to get it fixed multiple times, and then proceeded to not even give me a partial refund or anything. read more

My experience at Tipsy Nails Spa was disappointing, to say the least. Despite the initial positive reviews, my visit did not live up to expectations. It's important to note that I generally believe people should go to places where there are at least 150+ reviews because 16 reviews showing 5 stars are misleading. The staff was somewhat friendly, but that didn't compensate for the disappointing service. I have a feeling that the people who reviewed the place are workers and the owner. The pedicure I received was below par, and I've attached a picture to let everyone judge what's wrong. The attention to detail was lacking, and overall, it was not a pleasant experience. Furthermore, for a spa, there were no drinks, coffee, or refreshments provided, which was surprising and disappointing. It's essential for a spa to offer such amenities to enhance the customer experience, and the absence of this was noticeable. Based on my visit, I will not be returning to Tipsy Nails Spa, nor would I recommend it to others seeking a reliable nail spa experience. Emily ended up doing my nails, and she actually stayed past closing to finish them. I'm so grateful she did because this is honestly one of my favorite gel manicures I've ever gotten. I brought in a photo for inspiration and Emily recreated it beautifully -- I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I also want to mention that the reason I had to wait longer was because Emily was finishing up another client before me that ended up taking about two hours total. While I was there, I unfortunately witnessed that client leave in a way that seemed like Emily was still trying to collect payment for the work she had just done. I could see the disappointment on her face, and it really stuck with me. As someone who works in healthcare, I know how it feels when people overlook the effort and care that goes into the work we do. I just wanted to send some good karma her way for the hard work she clearly puts into her craft. Despite that situation, Emily stayed completely professional, finished my nails beautifully, and went above and beyond by staying late. That kind of dedication deserves recognition. My hands weren't wiped down or moisturized to finish, and the tech switched the top coat to a non-dazzle dry top coat on the last several nails. Dazzle Dry is an up charge, and I noticed this switcheroo but didn't say anything because by that time I'd had it with this place and just wanted to get out. Do not recommend, and if I had any connection to Dazzle Dry, I'd suggest they do some quality control on the salons they're partnering with.

This place is popular. I come here often enough... but yesterday, my pedicure was so shitty that…read morewhen I went home, my husband asked "you didn't get your toes done?" Lmao, but really not. My gel overlay manicure was great, which I had an appointment for. The pedicure is the issue. They added me in for the pedicure, for which I waited (they notified me that there was going to be a wait, which I was fine with, but I would've been okay without the pedicure if they told me they didn't have room/time.) So I had a classic pedicure with them, removing my previously grown out gel pedicure and asked for a natural pedicure, expecting the usual cut, toe nail filing/ shaping, and cuticle trimming. My nail tech cut the nails, but basically did a hack job on cutting them. It looked like I cut them at home. No filing them even, no shaping whatsoever -- just a messy slather of nail strengthener over my toenails. And this wasn't the first time I didn't get a color polish on my toenails/got a natural pedicure here. I think I already had a feeling when I was leaving that my pedicure wasn't that great but I couldn't really see in the dim lighting, and I was already delayed in needing to pump (breastmilk) so the engorgement/pumping was the more pressing matter on my mind of needing to get out of the nail salon. So I acknowledge it was my fault for not speaking up, but the services provided should be consistent enough that I don't have to be watching my nail tech like a hawk. Edit: when a business owner replies to your review, and basically says it takes time to achieve a "certain look", I think that's ridiculous, and frankly, a problem. Like I said, I've been here plenty of times and have gotten clear polish/pedicures at THIS LOCATION, especially when I came to THIS LOCATION when I was pregnant this past year and couldn't reach my feet. None of those experiences AT THIS LOCATION were bad. This visit just warranted a bad review and they didn't like it and didn't like the photo proof. My toenails were long and grown out (43 days since my last pedicure) so the nail tech had plenty to work with. And like I previously acknowledged, I should've spoken up but gave the reason why it didn't happen. Business owners: stop writing automatic formed responses and be proud of your business and acknowledge when you hire people who don't achieve your vision for your business and cut corners. I got a "pedicure" without a cuticle trim -- I think that's a basic at the very least.
