My problem is with the billing dept. My wife has needed an allergy shot every month for the last year. Before starting we were told that they could administer the shots there or we could probably do it ourselves if we felt confident doing so, and if they did it it would only be a minimal amount. That turned out not to be the case, as the doctor pointed out fine print in the RX that it needed to be done in a medical setting. That was fine until the first bill. We were charged $52 for 5 minutes of a nurses time. That is more than the co-pay to see the doctor for a visit. After some talking an arrangement was made to charge ONLY $30. But every time I have to argue with billing to remind them of that arrangement. This time my wife went alone and was charged $80, 30 for the nurse and 50 for a co-pay. And she never saw the doctor. Sadly, that is the last straw and we are through with this office. Is money needed so badly that the billing department has to rake patients over the coals to squeeze every possible dollar from them?

They cut a spot so bad that when I changed the bandage I cried in fear of the hole. It was not cancerous thank goodness. Seven months later I have a gash in my nose bridge, and Dr. Lam says it looks fine to her and since I don't have insurance with her this year, she cannot help me. She was very rude and unconcerned. I was not happy at all with that response so was told they would contact someone. I was called back and my questions answered. So take notes for extra details, don't assume they will be on papers.

Dr. Cornelison is a highly…read moreexperienced and professional physician now seeing patients on Fridays at the CareFirst Wellness Associates(formerly South Plains Medical Center). I have had skin cancers in the past and he found several pre cancerous spots on my face, arm and back. After treating the areas he asked me to return in a month for follow up. I will definitely be using Dr. Cornelison for my semi annual skin cancer screenings from now on. And I will be returning to him to have skin tags removed as well. Best of all he accepts my Medicare HMO which no Dermatologist in Lawton or surrounding area will do. His staff was also able to get me an appointment quickly instead of the months long wait other specialists had for new patients. You won't be disappointed with Dr. Cornelison.
