It was on my Dental Insurance...yea! Unfortunately, I'd just had a cleaning at my former dentist. So it would be awhile before I saw them. But stuff happens. A new implant's plug that covers the screw fell out. Argh! So, I called Muzny & they were very nice. Got me in quickly. The office is very nice. The people are personable & open. I was seen quickly. I like that a lot. My issue was checked & the solution shown to me. I was happy with it. Just a note: you pay for what you get. I was in & out in 30 min! I'm looking forward to my first real appointment. I'm expecting great results based on the superb handling of this emergency. I definitely picked the right dentist!! *********** Update: I had recommended Muzny's practice to a close friend. However, in spite of them checking her insurance, they set an appointment before she was due. My friends first clue was a bill from the practice. Even though Muzny made the mistake, its my friend who has to pay. This does not define a professional practice to me. So, while I had no issues on my visit; I've lost confidence on allowing them to deal with my insurance & appointments. So, I'm looking for a new dentist practice. Ancak süreç tam bir kabusa dönüştü ve onlara güvenmek yaptığım en büyük hata oldu. İşte yaşananlar: 1. Sedasyon Sırasında İhmal: * Sedasyon için odaya alındığımda hemşire beni yalnız bıraktı. Doktor kan almak için geldi ama beceriksizce idare etti, beni defalarca iğnelerle dürttü ve kollarımda morluklar bıraktı. Uyarıma rağmen, hiçbir açıklama yapmadan bilinmeyen bir ilaç verdiler ve tamamen bilincimi kaybettim. * Sakinleştirilmeden önce onlara açıkça "Bana ne veriyorsun? Emziriyorum ve uzun süreli sedasyon istemiyorum" dediler ama uyarımı tamamen görmezden geldiler. * Basit bir 4 diş çekimi ve temizliği için 4,5 saat sedasyon altında tutuldum ve eve döndükten sonra bile saatlerce tam bilincimi kendime getiremedim. 2. Beceriksiz Tedavi ve Örtbas: * Çekim sırasında bana haber vermeden sağlıklı bir komşu dişi kökünden kırdılar ve üzerini bir dolgu ile kapattılar. * Daha da kötüsü, kırılmanın kazara olduğunu iddia ettiler ve hatta dişin zaten kırıldığını iddia ettiler ki bu tamamen doğru değildi. * Kırık diş, kanal tedavisi planlayan başka bir doktor tarafından değerlendirildi, ancak kurona ihtiyaç duymadığını doğruladı. Kırılmadan sonra doktorum dişin o kadar ciddi şekilde hasar gördüğünü ve boyutunun küçüldüğünü ve kuronun tutmayabileceğini ve başarısız olursa dişin çekilmesi ve bir implant ile değiştirilmesi gerektiğini söyledi. Bu bahaneler çok saçmaydı. I guess they wanted to get to the expensive items! She was given a $300 3D scan of her mouth that she did not ask for but they have everyone do, so that they can pay for their expensive machine. She was told by Dr. Asha that she had "bacteria in her mouth above her implants" which had been done several years prior by a different dentist. She was told that her 2 baby teeth (which have perfect roots and no adult teeth behind them) needed to be removed and implants done. Dr. Asha also said she needed several fillings done. Unbeknowst to me, my daughter left the office in tears, thinking of the enormous expense. After relaying the message to me a few days later, I told my daughter I would make her an appointment with our very trusted and wise dentist of over 20 years in our city and state when she visited in a couple of weeks. Now for the good part: My daughter and I saw our trusted dentist a few days ago and had the report from Dr. Asha along with a copy of an xray for her to see. Our trusted dentist said that there was no reason whatsoever to remove the baby teeth until they would get loose or give her problems. Our dentist said that she had a patient have a baby tooth until she was 70. The surgical procedure for implants and implants themselves would easily be $15,000-$20, 000!!! No thank you! Bacteria?! Our trusted dentist just laughed and said we ALL have bacteria in our mouth. Our trusted dentist found no cavities and said my daughter needed no large fillings. She said that my daughter had 1, possibly 2 teeth that have a small amount of erosion where she would fill in with a small amount of resin. Run from this office!! JUST RUN!!!!!!! It makes me so angry that they would do this to a young pregnant woman knowing how expensive all this would be. She left this office in tears!!!! Complete scammers. Run from this office!!!! Our trusted dentist said that she is seeing this more and more and gave us other examples of other dentists doing the same in trying to rip people off with unnecessary procedures. I have never been in a more painful dental chair in my life - and that includes the emergency room at Parkland hospital. I have not had any issue or problem with the chair at ANY other dentist. As soon as the hygienist finished the x-rays and reclined the chair I was in serious pain,both back and neck. I just have an average, 52 year old bad back, too - no serious spinal condition or neck injury. I can't imagine what being in those chairs for more than a minute or two would feel like for someonewho does. I was told that all the chairs there are the same. The hygienist was nice, friendly, and the desk was as well. I never met the dentist during my new patient visit, although I was told several times she was "on her way back to meet me". Even after I explained to the hygienist what the issue with the chair was, and was told there is no solution, she then told the dentist, and the dentist never made it back to my exam room. Again, a complete waste of time, and a huge, frustrating disappointment. Especially for a first visit to a new practice I was really excited about. The irony here is that I found this practice for my wife and I, and after some research, I booked both our appointments. This was MY idea. Hers was before mine, and she couldn't stop RAVING about how great the dentist is, his care and concern, his chair-side manner was awesome, how wonderful and helpful his assistant was,how great this office is, and we were both excited about my visit the following week. I was scheduled with the other dentist, and had the opposite experience. I can't help but wish I had been scheduled with my wife's dentist, I might have had a similar experience. Instead, I was treated like an afterthought, and ignored by the dentist who couldn't see her way to come to my exam and meet me, and address my concern with the chair. So now, my wife and I, who would have been regular patients at this practice (with a lot of work to be done), are going to find another practice. Because I was scheduled with the other dentist, not the one she had. We left our previous dentist for similar experiences; feeling ignored, like out concerns weren't being heard or addressed. What a disappointment.
