UPDATE: As of 5/25, I am still experiencing significant sensitivity and pain. I paid over $50,000 for full mouth veneer treatment with this office. Within about three years, one restoration failed and required emergency care. I no longer live in Texas, so I saw another provider locally. That provider was recommended by this office and uses the same lab. During that visit, I was shown a clear image of an unsealed margin on the tooth adjacent to the failed restoration. This area is now causing significant sensitivity and requires treatment. Despite this, I was told by Dr. Young that addressing it would be a personal choice and not necessary. I was also told that issues like this could be related to whether I was keeping up with cleanings. I have consistently attended my dental cleanings before and after the restoration. I have been trying to get help since April 11, when the crown failed. I was finally told on 4/30 that a night guard would be remade and sent. I provided my address and never received a response or update. My records state that a night guard was delivered to me after treatment completion. I never received a night guard. What I was given were retainers, which I believed were night guards all along. I raised concerns shortly after placement in 2023, including asymmetry and bite issues, and provided photos at the time. I relied on the guidance that things were addressed. I am now dealing with a failed restoration, another tooth requiring treatment, and no protective night guard despite documentation stating otherwise. read more

Horrible experience. Would not recommend. Becomes hostile when I told him I was not happy with his work. Numerous times. Paid around $85k between my husband and me. My teeth were off center, elongated, thick and did not match my other teeth. Embarrassed to smile. I finally gave up on him and had to spend another $18K to have my teeth redone. Dr Young misled me when he told me I could do implants. When it was all said and done (including numerous bone grafts) he back tracked and said he could not put implants in because I had a vein blocking the implants. And, that he didn't catch it because he didn't get the right x-ray machine to detect the vein. I have yet to meet anyone who was happy with Dr. Scott Young's work. He is not worth it read more

This was my 2nd visit to Dr. Scott Young, DDS. I initially contacted his office last week regarding a visit for routine teeth cleaning and Veneer consultation. The person who took my call was pleasant and the appointment was booked with no hiccups for the next day unbelievably. It is only an appointment only dental office set-up but the availability is not booked ridiculously. I returned today for the 1st cleaning. NO PAIN! The service, atmosphere and staff are all amazing thus far. The Hygienist who handled me was extremely gentle and informative the entire procedure. Dr. Young was pleasant and had a great demeanor- He listened to my wants and desires regarding my veneers and was attentive. He was very approachable and it comes across when he speaks to you~ He speaks in lay mans terms and I was provided with a direct quote of all fees during my visit. They also told me that no additional fees would 'Pop Up' later. I paid exactly what I was quoted on the 1st day. The veneer pricing was based on customized veneers so i now understand the price being a bit more and went over that again with me. His office staff were very knowledgeable and the office is really high end in appearance. I traveled to the Woodlands which is a bit far for me but I am pleased that I went. The location is tucked away so I advise to leave early in order to familiarize yourself and not get lost if you are not in the Woodlands area. Both my husband and I use Dr. Young. I cannot say enough good things about him and his office and staff.
