My fiancée was given a referral to Sports Medicine by her Primary Care doctor at Boerne Family…read moreMedicine. I called them on Sept. 16th in the hopes of getting an appointment for her this week. She is having extreme pain in her knee, and we will be leaving for a honeymoon next week. The Sports Medicine Associates were much too busy to answer their phone... they have a system that says it will send you a text message so you can communicate with their 'portal' Klara. I got the automated message on the portal, and left a detailed message that we'd like to have an appointment so that she will be able to walk on our honeymoon. The automated Klara portal said someone would be calling within 24 hrs. Nope... nothing but crickets... The next day (24 hrs after they promised to call) I left another message with the Klara portal. Again... nothing... no response. By now, I'm thinking... these guys are so busy, they don't have a receptionist or office manager that can call us back. Finally, we get a message on the 18th, asking if we can come in on the 19th. The address they give is in San Antonio, in the Medical Center area. My fiancée cannot stand to drive into San Antonio for anything... we were hoping that someone in Boerne could help her. So we ended up saying "forget about it". For all I know, the doctors at this practice might be really talented. We didn't get that far. Just know that they are way too busy to talk to you. Don't worry... their AI portal will also ignore your requests too.

I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lynch and the entire team at TruOrtho…read more This was one of the best medical experiences I have ever had. I had been in the ER at 1 a.m. that morning with severe neck and shoulder pain, and the ER physician personally referred me to Dr. Lynch. Before I even had a chance to call TRUORTHO myself, their office proactively called ME around 9 a.m. and managed to squeeze me into the schedule for 2:30 that same afternoon. I was already incredibly grateful before I even walked through the door. Every person I encountered--from the front office staff to the team taking my X-rays--was kind, helpful and compassionate. Then I met Dr. Lynch, and the experience somehow got even better. Dr. Lynch spent approximately 45 minutes with my husband and me. She let me explain everything I had been experiencing, asked questions, performed an incredibly thorough examination and, most importantly, looked at the WHOLE picture. I have cervical/neck issues as well as problems involving my shoulder, rhomboid and right arm, and she immediately recognized how interconnected everything could be. I have previously seen two other orthopedic surgeons, and this was the first time I felt like someone truly connected all of those pieces. She also explained everything in a way that I could actually understand as someone without a medical background. At one point, she literally drew me a diagram of the shoulder to explain what was happening and how an MRI doesn't always tell the entire story. That meant so much to me. She recommended a corticosteroid injection because of the amount of inflammation in my shoulder. I was VERY nervous about having a needle inserted into my shoulder joint, and she immediately reassured me that her PA was fantastic. She was absolutely right! The injection was ultrasound-guided, and I felt no pain whatsoever--only some pressure. Even better, I bruise incredibly easily and have had minimal bruising. Approximately 48 hours later, I woke up and realized something that honestly shocked me: for the first time in weeks, I was not in severe pain. My pain had dropped to around a 2 out of 10. I actually turned to my husband and said, "Oh my God--I don't hurt!" And Dr. Lynch didn't stop at treating my shoulder. She referred me to a specific physical therapist, whose office contacted me the very next day, and her instructions were extremely clear that they need to address the entire interconnected area--not simply my shoulder in isolation. She also referred me to a spine specialist so that my cervical and spinal issues can be properly evaluated as part of the bigger picture. THAT is comprehensive care. What impressed me most about Dr. Lynch was that I never felt rushed, dismissed or reduced to one MRI or one body part. She listened. She examined. She explained. She connected the dots. And then she created a plan to address the whole problem. Dr. Lynch and the team at TruOrtho have my absolute highest recommendation. The level of compassion, thoroughness, expertise and coordination of care I experienced was extraordinary. I am so incredibly thankful that I was referred to her and finally feel like I have someone looking at the entire picture. Dr. Lynch and her team truly felt like angels on earth when I desperately needed help. Five stars doesn't feel like enough.

I was in a car wreck and they threatened to cancel my appointment over it. Still waiting to see the doc over an hour and 15 min after my appointment unfortunately, when you see her she's great but clear your day to be here. Update: The doctor never even saw me, the PA did.

It affected my sleeping and ability to have full range of motion in my neck. I did a total of 3 rehab visits and will continue to do exercises at home to continue the therapy. The office is neat and clean. My temperature was taken each time and masks are required by everyone. Victor guided me in how to do the at home exercises. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a visit for any aches or pains and will come back as needed.

I've heard from friends who had been to other Airrosti providers that it can be painful. Well..it was. Dr Canelo did some poking and pushing and massaging on my muscles in key areas to loosen up the muscles and tendons to help my posture. As the treatment went on it became less and less painful as the muscles loosened up. We worked on my posture to help my muscles operate the way they're supposed to. After the hands on treatment, I went to the next room and did some recovery physical therapy. Went over some take home exercises and stretches to work on daily. Overall I had three visits before I was good to not visit again since my initial complaint was treated and I had the tools to keep it in working order. Dr Canelo was very friendly and professional. I would definitely go back there if I had any other issues. Highly recommend!
