As a group we ordered three iced coffees and 3 baked treats to eat there. The coffees were made quickly and were so delicious. The gentleman at the register was very kind and the atmosphere is very friendly. When we weren't given the slice of lemon cake initially, we asked if it was being prepared and they gave us a free slice of carrot cake on the house. Amazing serving and would definitely recommend! read more

Great service, delicious pastries and amazing coffee! I can't say enough praises for this place. I'm both glad and worried that it is close to my work because my coffee spending has increased. My favorite drink here is the Greek which is a iced espresso drink. I feel like most of the coffee shops now make their lattes excessively sweet. I am very pleased that is not the case here. I was greeted with a smile. The man at the register helped me pick from the specials menu and a pastry. I got the iced Samoa coconut and caramel latte and a spinach pastry. He also was kind enough to give me a student discount. The building has some outdoor chairs and tables for 2 where you can enjoy the weather. The inside has lots of artwork and photographs decorating the wall and chess boards to play with. The coffee tastes good and fresh and the coconut and caramel flavors are both there. I think my only issue was that the latte was a lot milkier and the color was much lighter than I expected so the flavor got watered down quickly as the ice melted. The pastry is buttery, soft, and savory, I recommend it. I think everyone can find a drink they like here since they have all the classics like chai, matcha, and regular coffee, as well as a variety of signature and special coffees with unique flavors. read more

I'm so glad I spontaneously tried this place! When ordering, staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to talk about the coffee used and what goes into each drink. I was able to select the type of roast and was recommended to sip on the coffee first before stirring. The coffee was soo flavorful! I'm not sure if I've just been unlucky with coffee before, but I've never had anything that tastes like this. The coffee wasn't bitter and I could taste the actual flavors listed in the description of the roast! I'll definitely be back! Please try this place if you're on the fence about it! We have a passion for coffee shops and discovering hidden gems when we travel. We found one! Lund is a must try when in Flagstaff. The service was exactly what you want in an artisan style coffee shop. Friendly but not Dutch friendly. Knowledgeable without making you feel stupid. Patient as my wife is the queen of indecisiveness when at a new place and passionate without being pretentious. They check all the good boxes! The chocolate they use in the mocha is house made. It's on the less sweet side of the pendulum with a sophisticated composition of flavors. It's definitely not just some chocolate sauce or powder that every other coffee shop uses. But if you like a traditional sweet chocolate flavor you may not like it. Which I normally do, but like a complex wine tasting the more I drank the more I came to appreciate it. The chocolate croissants were great as well. You can tell they are freshly made and whoever made them loves their chocolate. Hero in my book! The ambiance of the shop is what the wife and I needed to escape the madness of our boys running wild this morning. If Starbucks buzz is your thing, you won't like it in here. Literally never coming here again. Was so disappointed when I finally tried this place. Not only were the staff insanely rude, the coffee was horrific. If I pay almost 8 dollars for a 20 oz latte, I would like if it didn't taste like stale beans. They clearly hold their regulars at an elitist status as well. We took an overnight trip up to Flagstaff from Phoenix to hike Mt. Humphreys. The next morning we stopped at Lund Canyon Coffee before hitting the road home. When we arrived the place was nearly packed! The nice barista gave us solid recommendations about their specials and I tried the Violet Latte with lavender and my girlfriend tried the Queen. We were also recommended to try the Carrot Cake, by whom I believe was the owner or his son, letting us know the carrot cake was home made by his mother himself. Absolutely delicious. Best carrot cake of our life The place was packed but the nice young man owner accommodated us by bringing some extra chairs and tables for our group on the patio. So this place... it's fantastic! The cold brew was delicious and my mom got this funky little number called Queen Bee that had cinnamon and honey in it. When I went there it seemed pretty low key not a very busy place but that could've been the space and time I had the pleasure of perceiving it in. read more

I don't write many reviews so believe me when i tell you that this is the spot. Me and my fiancé were visiting from out of town and got this place recommended by a local. Simply put, the atmosphere is genuine and welcoming. The coffee was spectacular, my fiancé and I both got one of their specialty lattes, which had beautiful micro-foam and a delicious rich flavor. We can both highly recommend the Dallas and the Violet. We sat a while watching people come and go and spotted the legendary Larry, who has a permanent spot reserved for him at the bar. You can tell these people actually care about their business, their craft, and the people in their community. We will be coming back and telling others to do the same. When you get in there tell them Bryan sent you! it will do nothing for you but maybe get you a confused look :D read more

Lund Canyon went above and beyond with our order. I called in the day before to put in an order for the bridal party to have the next morning as we got ready. Kasim was extremely helpful and communicated with me the entire time. When I picked up the coffees, not only did each drink have the bridesmaids name on it, but there was a special card for the bride congratulating her on her wedding day. I am obsessed with this place!!!! The owner is a kind older gentleman and his older kids help out. The location is at the mall so they do get a lot of foot traffic but they get their orders in and out. They sell artwork from individuals within the community. Even if you don't purchase any artwork they have so beautiful pieces and set up the coffee shop in such a way that makes everything work for them and their customers. read more

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews but I was in town over the weekend visiting my Mom who lives right there over the coffee shop. We were setting out for a road trip and she suggested this place or Dutch Bros. Now, I'm shameless about Dutch Bros, LOVE IT, but I told her I'd give it a shot. The place is cute, cozy, nostalgic and interesting, not bougie. I ordered an iced Americano with vanilla and was pleasantly surprised when I was called and the girl asked me how much 1/2 & 1/2 I wanted. Perfect - cause some places over do it and some places under do it. So I went about my merry way and found the coffee delicious...so much so that I'm attempting to contact to company to ask which brand of coffee is in their Americanos! MY ONLY COMPLAINT - about anything associated with this place is the spelling of the word "Navaho" on the yelp site. Please correct that to be "Navajo". Thanks. read more

As far as I know this is the best deal in Flagstaff you can find. The cafe is surprising roomy and lends itself to be a good work environment. I find it easy and productive to work there. I like to check out the books/games/movies around the main store when I feel I need a break. The staff really make the space. I've only had positive interactions with all the workers. They are very genuine people who I love to talk to. I feel very welcomed whenever I come in.

On the drive back home from the Aspen Acres Fire, we made a stop at Lund Canyon Coffee in Flagstaff, Arizona, and I'm really glad we did. First off, a huge shoutout to the guy wearing the hat and bandana who happened to be from the San Fernando Valley, CA. He generously treated us to free coffee. That kind of hospitality doesn't go unnoticed, so thank you again! I ordered the coffee shake, and I can honestly say it was one of the best coffee shakes I've ever had. It was smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious. The coffee shop itself has an awesome atmosphere. It's beautifully decorated with picture frames throughout the shop, creating a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to hang out for a while. It's also dog-friendly, which was great to see, with several people enjoying their coffee alongside their pups. As someone who loves checking out coffee shops wherever I travel, Lund Canyon Coffee was definitely a memorable stop. Great drinks, a cool atmosphere, and genuinely kind people. Flagstaff has two things in excess; gyms and coffee shops. Trust me when I say, this is one of the best coffee shops in town. Amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff, and a delicious product that the owners take care in producing. Give this place a minute of your time, it'll be worth it. read more
