3.5/5 For Flagstaff, this bubble tea is alright. If you get a drink from here it will be a sweet day indeed! At first I was a little confused because I didn't see an actual bubble tea store, but it turns out the bubble tea shop has the same owner as the restaurant and grocery store. There are menus at the counter of the grocery store's check out counter where you can place your order. Sadly, one of my choices (The lemon black tea) was not available so I went with the mango tea instead and got a passion fruit tea with yogurt popping boba. The cashier said the passion fruit was her favorite flavor- alright! They make the bubble tea next door at the Chinese restaurant kitchen/drink area. It didn't take too long for my drinks to be made and they had those nicely heat sealed lids. The passion fruit drink was a little too sweet for me so I'll see if I can ask for it less sweet next time. Service was very friendly and nice. Since options are limited in Flagstaff for bubble tea and I want to support local boba business (And fuel my bubble tea addiction) I'll try more next time I'm here! read more

This place is very dirty and despite there being coffee in the name there is only one coffee option. Language barrier made it difficult to order. Smells bad here and the bathrooms are unsanitary. I've ordered from here before about a month ago and I ordered the Thai tea with boba. It was really good, not too much ice, plenty of leftover boba and the tea was really good. However, I just went in to get the same drink as last time, a large Thai tea with boba. I also asked for easy ice. They gave me my drink and I was happy and left. I try it only to taste old, wrinkly, and even some uncooked boba in the drink. It made the boba have a weird texture and taste, and the uncooked ones were hard and crumbly. The tea itself was fine. Also as it shows in the photo, they definitely didn't go easy on the ice. I liked this place the first time I came, but after this second time, I don't think this was worth the $5. Something was wrong with it. Like it tasted terrible. Mango pineapple was pretty good. Taro boba was fine. Just not a lot of boba. They ran out. People working here were super nice though. The only reason I went here was to TRY and support a local business. Front hostess need to be trained on how to greet customers and communicate. Boba in Flagstaff is about all I can say about this place. It does the job, but could be better overall. The taste is good (although they do not do blended teas, which are my favorite!). They have a wide variety of flavors, but you can also tell that their boba is not that fresh. The ambiance is a bit weird, and kind of just feels thrown together on a whim. Service is friendly. Lastly, the price is way overpriced. $10.50 for two. For that reason, I would never come back. Buuut, if you're craving boba, then this place will satisfy the craving. read more

The boba and drinks here are both amazing! I was super happy to find a good boba place in Flag and this is me and my friends GO TO SPOT on the weekends and weekdays. My only critique is that the environment of the store is really quiet, like barely any music so kind of awkward and the appearance is very home-kitchen-like, very unexpected. I hate to give them one star but we had a very offputting experience. We walked in around 11 looking for boba tea. There was a family (the owners?) playing pool with children. The counter was bare and there were some old looking liquid in the drink machine stirrers. The inside was depressing. However none of that bothered me except we were completely ignored. Not a bellow, not we will be with u in a second, nothing. We stood there for about 3-5 minutes and had ample time to look at the dried out machines and slightly grungy inside and decided we would never be back read more

It's boba tea, but that's about all it has in terms of merit. The straws they give simply aren't large enough for the boba balls, and it prevents you from even being able to drink when the boba gets stuck in the straw--to me, a pretty large oversight for a boba-focused place. The drinks are powder-based and hand shaken, so overall not very quality. The teas aren't very sweet either, which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but isn't common for a boba place, especially one without a sugar level option. Drinks were icier than needed. There 's decent variety in the flavors and toppings, and it's connected to a restaurant next door, which is convenient, but the tea simply isn't very good. Still, considering it's location in Flagstaff, maybe there aren't many other options for good boba, just the decent stuff here. I went to Sweet Day with my husband while on vacation. I ordered a strawberry green tea with blueberry pearls and aloe vera gel. My husband got the honey green tea with boba. Both were very good. The tea was perfectly balanced with the sweetness and the toppings. The blueberry pearls were very sweet and I would be careful not to add them to something additionally sweet. The foosball table and pool table are a nice distraction while we waited for our drinks. The wait was only a few minutes and the server was friendly and pleasant. Sorry, I really wanted to like this place (boba in Flagstaff? Exciting!) The server was very sweet and friendly, but unfortunately I don't have anything good to say about the drinks. The interior is sparse and depressing, and the boba itself is the absolute worst I have ever had: crumbly (which I've never encountered before) and tasting strangely of plastic. The milk tea itself was beyond strange-tasting (super thick and kind of off) and came out of these huge jugs that were off-putting (since it's not made fresh). Avoid, avoid, avoid. I have traveled extensively in East Asia. I've had boba in Taiwan, Thailand, Korea...and there are many places in Arizona that have excellent boba. Really good!! We got a honeydew milk tea and a matcha milk tea and both were delicious. I think the drinks automatically came with boba so if you don't want it, be sure to mention that. Great tea. Had a hard time walking out the door after I drank it but the tea and especially the chicken wings were great. Don't bring your wife or girlfriend if she gets jealous or you may not be able to walk period. College girls were perched on top of the pool table. The girl serving tea serves some killer tea. Lunch price was excellent need an hour to recover So to recap great tea spectacular chicken wings oh yeah and really good Michu ice cream. And oh yeah college girls. Left the Bay Area to go on a road trip and was so happy to find a boba place in Flagstaff! The staff were so nice: we were greeted with a smile and polite greeting when we went inside; made me really feel at home. I absolutely LOVE this place! They have such good and affordable boba, they sell the cutest face masks and beauty items, and now they have delicious treats as well! However, when I went in today, the boba wasn't ready, which was no big deal because I've been wanting to try milk tea with mochi for a while and I am pleasantly surprised by how good it really is! The only reason I took a star away was because of the young lady who opened the store. She instantly started complaining about her coworkers, management, and how they're all stupid and don't know what they're doing. Pros: Staff are friendly, service is quick, it's one of the few places to get boba tea in Flagstaff (odd as that should be). Cons: Charged inconsistently for drinks, boba is wildly inconsistent from visit to visit. Drinks sometimes have a weird taste (I drink way too many taro, Thai, and green tea drinks from lots of different places, so I have a pretty good idea of what they should taste like). Inconsistency is okay if you're charging me $2-3.50 per drink, but when it's $5 or $5.50, I expect consistent, good flavor. Meh - They have a loyalty program/stamp card, but they didn't ever mention it (I noticed the stamp on my 6th visit). I think 10 visits nets you one free drink. The card says one free drink per stamp or something like that. read more

I always enjoy stopping by. There are a few places in Flag that serve boba tea (Aloha BBQ, a place at the mall, and Java, the new place on Milton near Bookman's), and Sweet Day is my favorite. I've never tried the food from Sweet Day itself, although Hot Wok is good, but the tea is delicious and the boba itself is the best I've had in Flagstaff. I usually get the Thai tea and boba, although the signature is delicious, and I also love the 3 brothers tea, which is the signature milk tea with boba, jelly, and pudding. I didn't like the taro, but my friends love it, and Sweet Day has the best matcha in Flagstaff. Plus, aside from the standard milk tea and boba, they also have popping pearls and fruitier teas, which are very refreshing (I personally recommend the honey green tea and lychee pearls, or strawberry green tea and mango pearls). The staff is always great and friendly, and I love hanging out and chatting with them, or playing pool or foosball with my roommate as we grab tea. It's close to the university, but it's never busy. That's probably because not many people know it's there, which is a real shame, but also means there's rarely a line, and the drinks are always made really quickly. Overall, I highly recommend Sweet Day if you're just looking for good boba tea. If you're more hungry and the tea is a bonus, the food next door at Hot Wok is great, or check out Aloha BBQ downtown. read more

I really wanted to like this place.. I can never satisfy my craving for boba in Flagstaff! I got myself and my husband a smoothie each. Pretty much all I tasted was ice. There was practically zero flavor which tends to happen when you don't add anything like flavored syrups. The boba itself was okay in consistency, but my husband complained of a sort of horrible aftertaste. Which was somehow more prevalent in his than mine. This is probably one of the best bobas I've had in Flagstaff, mind you, this is a small town and there isn't a lot to choose from when it comes to boba. So with that being said, I love the amount of selections they have on their menu, I love how the boba barista lets you sample (at your request) if you're unsure about the taste, I also love that every time I have visited the barista will take the time to give you an idea of what a specific drink tastes like, (depending on whose there at the time you come in) and I also love that there is now a pool table AND table hockey you can play with while you wait for your drinks. The location is connected to an Asian restaurant AND an Asian market, which Ive shopped a few time and found great affordable things to try from snacks to drinks and also they had a few things from Japan that I loved most when I went to Okinawa, so that was a HUGE plus! The hours are awesome also, they're open EVERYDAY from 11a-9p which is great for me because I work a 9-5 job and I get to enjoy boba when I do get off work or am on lunch. There were times where the college students have filled the boba shop, and there were times where there was just one or two people, I can definitely say that this is a pretty good spot to do some studying, reading and writing if you get there at just the right time when there's little to no people. My favorites are the signature boba and the honey dew boba, why? Because the taste is just right, especially if you don't like overly sweet drinks. I've learned that if you're gonna try boba for the first time, it's always better to try the classic boba on the menu because you'll know what the base of the flavor tastes like for any boba you order at any boba shop. I've tried a few places In Flagstaff that have boba on their menu, but their boba is a powder mix and it was the worst! I love that I can watch the boba barista make my drink in front of me, and from what I've seen every time, they use actual brewed tea! And real boba! I haven't been to a shop in flagstaff that has been able to offer a good boba drink experience until a few good friends who moved from California (where some of the best boba shops are on every block) discovered this shop and told my husband and I about it, so naturally, I took my husband hostage and drove us right over! And since then I have made more than a few trips, which brings me to my last favorite thing I like about this shop, (I promise, last one!) the stamp card! If you visit enough, you'll get one free drink, which I've already been through one and a half stamp cards (and noooo, it's not just my drinks only, but because when I go, I order for my spouse and myself) There isn't a drink I've had that I didn't like, it's probably by far one of the best boba shops for Flagstaff, the owners are friendly and they do more things to add or improve their business.
