After Armor Roofing remodeled the beam structure and installed skylights, Refined Painting patched the new interior two-beam sets with "mud" and paint to make each one of them appear like single white smooth textured beams. They also textured a portion of a wall that needed attention after a roof leak. They did a flawless job with multiple coats of priming, patching and painting the beams and returned a couple weeks latter to sand, "mud" and repaint a few small bubbles that arose in the curing process. The crew really is refined in their craft which goes way beyond painting. Due to dry rot, this also required carpentry work. In just about a week, they replaced about 40-50 rotten boards, painted the deck wood and walls, did other cosmetic repairs, and ensured everything was moved back to where it was when they were done. Their communication was on point and they always showed up when they said they would. Matt goes beyond as well. He makes sure you're aware of all options on how what kind of finishes are possible and why any might be considered. He addressed structural issues caused by the original builders. He also approaches the project in a manner that ensures the rest of the house won't get damaged during the work (in this case, hoisting all the new and old wood off the roof via rope). Since I couldn't be home during the painting, I asked the crew to leave all receipts and empty paint buckets as proof. They sent me "receipt" stating 25 of 5 gallon buckets ordered -NOT PURCHASED. When I returned, only 4 out of 25 buckets were there--3 without labels and 1 with a label. This is suspicious. then I double check the receipt, the "receipt" was actually just an order form, not an invoice. When I asked again for proof of purchase, they couldn't provide it. I checked directly with the Sherwin-Williams store, and they confirmed there were no purchases made by the subcontractor from prime coat in the past month. It was bad experience as we took a while to pick the color and best product for my house. But prime coat cut corner to use low quality paints which we don't even know if it has any brand. On the same day when I wrote the review in google, there were 8 five star reviews added in 24 hours. You can make your own judgement.
