Honestly I can't believe I lived with it like that for as long as I did. Hiring Vasyl / Leo Painters for this was definitely the right move. I've worked with Vasyl and his team once before (on a full house interior paint job), so I already knew I was in good hands. They did a better job than I expected was even possible in this bathroom - that had clearly seen decades of terrible paint jobs, and damage from steam, etc. Vasyl informed me of the correct and quality kind of paint to use for this job (I just gave him the color), in addition to pointing out the existing issues (that I hadn't realized). They are professional in a variety of ways, and you can rest assured you're in good hands with Vasyl and his team. I'm just glad I had his number saved from the last job I hired him for. Ok after a couple years the stairs boards started coming off especially at the edges... another…read morecontractor doing some unrelated work told me they were not attached properly, they used some sort of flimsy staples. I was assuming it's normal for composite decking. Well it's not... I was able to pull off several boards by hand with barely any effort. I bought a box of proper screws to fix it. There was also a bunch of broken wood from the old stairs and enough screws to build another porch under there apparently. So I guess 5 stars for painting, 3 for the porch.

Took 9 weeks to complete which created budget overruns and significant scheduling challenges for other activities. We then had to call back for several missed areas, incorrect paint sheen used, and poor transitions. The overspray in areas was significant resulting in rework or frankly just having a different paint crew come in to complete the work. I would not recommend.

When we started to get close to go time, we heard from him promptly with details on the plan, and he regularly checked in with us to keep us informed as the process unfolded. He also provided great advice on how to choose the right colors for what we wanted to have done, and it was clear he wanted us to take care with that process so we'd really love how it looked when it was done. Not only does our house look amazing and exactly how we wanted it, but Haven also repaired a hole in the siding left after we had a yellow jacket nest removed, and he barely charged us anything for that additional, unplanned work. Really impressed with his professionalism, as well as the care he took to keep our cats safe while he was in and out working on our front door, too. I had booked him for services to fix my toilet and install a garbage disposal. He had mentioned he was working another job at the same time and said he'll come back for the garbage disposal. He never did. He billed $270 total for 20mins of his time. I had expressed my concerns that the job was not done and asked if i could get a discount. He refused. Although i liked his work, he couldn't help to reduce the cost. I'll take my business elsewhere. We all get screwed over at some point i thought this guy would work with me but nope. Another story of a guy on his high horse screwing the small man over.
