I actually like Chinese Food, but the Chinese stores in New Jersey are crazy!! Why won't y'all just put the ketchup on my wings?? Why won't y'all put the ketchup on my fries?? What are those little packets going to do???. I walked into Lung Wah on my way to work in Willingboro, NJ. The restaurant wasn't crowded and it was easy to order. My food didn't take too long to cook (It NEVER does at ANY Chinese Food location) The only that really gets me is the not dousing my food in ketchup. Those little ketchup packets mean nothing to me. ALL NJ Chinese spots will get low ratings for that reason alone. read more

First time ordering and we were impressed! The staff was super friendly and packaged my to go order in a no. and carefully taped it. When opening the box, they wrote a sweet message on the inside flaps. I ordered take out steamed chicken with vegetables and white rice from the diet menu. The sauce is served on the side for portion control. It was fresh and delicious. It was enough for 2 meals even without eating all of the rice. My order was ready when I arrived and service was friendly. They are closed on Tuesdays. read more

I've ordered from this place a few times now and I've hadn't had that much of a difficulty maybe a little ups and downs but mostly it's been OK but one problem I have is today they give me the wrong order. I pacifically said fried rice with chicken and the lady even repeated it to me Then when I got home with my Chinese food, I opened it to my whore. I saw white rice not only that but no spoon to be in sight. I'm very disappointed in this place and it's customer service and I can't go back now because it is way too cold outside. This is my go too Chinese Spot in Willingboro. The staff are always wonderful the food doesn't take crazy long too come out and it never fails to impress me. You really get a bang for your buck and I know that they bless you with a cookies or an extra soda here and there if you're a good costumer. I wish I could give this ZERO stars. I'm from NY so I'd like to believe I know good Chinese food... well this place doesn't have it, it's gross. I've been looking for good Chinese food since I've been in jersey and I've found that jersey's Chinese is just different, to put it mildly. Typically, I can only order specifics from certain places. This restaurant usually has a line and doesn't offer delivery. So, on a whim I decided to try it. I ordered crag Rangoon (cheese wontons), which were fried so lightly that they weren't done and pretty soggy. The sweet and sour sauce that accompanied it has the most chalky taste. My general tso's chicken had cooked broccoli in it which I had to take out but it overpowered and changed the flavor of the chicken. The chicken was dry and the sauce lacked flavor. The pork fried rice was flavorless also. It's was absolutely gross. The egg roll, had an overpowering carrot taste. I don't believe in wasting food but I literally didn't eat it and threw it right out, the whole freaking "inedible" meal. I've come to the conclusion that this place is popular due to the cheap pricing... you get a lot of food for $10. By far the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in jersey.... the search continues. read more

Fresh and great tasting Chinese food. Normally order sweet and sour chicken with vegetable lomein. Also love their vegetable fried rice

I must be one of the few, or ever, Asian that has ordered from here. The food was tasteless. Yes there were saltiness and the expected greasiness of typical Chinese take outs but it lacked the Chinese flavors. I'm not asking for authenticity, gosh no. I know that I'm not in Chinatown but it was bland. Bland; even to my American pallet. The hot and sour soup had strands of the generic red pork, julienned carrots and CHUNKS of onions, slicked now peas, soft tofu chunks and a lot of broth. Lots and lots of broth. I had to add a whole spoonful of Franks hot sauce just for the sour note. The cheese wontons were good, typical; really can't mess that up. I also ordered the family meal for two and choosed the pepper steaks and beef with garlic sauce.....they both tasted exactly the same except the garlic sauce has bits of ground chili peppers. It came with pork fried rice, which wasn't bad, it had a nice charred wok flavor but, drum rolls, the rice was undercook, it was a tad on the raw side. I give each and every mom and pops a try. I do support the local eateries but I'm also a foodie. Sorry not sorry. read more

We drive by 4-5 other Chinese restaurants to buy here. Everything is extremely fresh and tasty. I've tried a lot of different menu items, but my favorite is their Chicken in Garlic Sauce. Ordered my food as soon as it opened. Received the food uncooked & distasteful. They just threw it together fast. Waste of my money & time.

The prices were on par with most other chinese takeout spots, but the food was below average. Egg roll was stuffed which is great, but it had no flavor I tossed my shrimp and broccoli after 3 bites the shrimp had a weird texture like it had been defrosted and refrozen and 1 still had a partial shell. This is the worst Chinese restaurant in Burlington NJ. Please do not eat from Lung Wah Restaurant. They overcharge, overcook, do nothing season their chicken, and the lo-mein is extremely greasy. I ordered chicken, broccoli, and lo mein which came up to $35.00. I asked for no mushrooms and onions. See photo attached. They gave me the greasiest lo mein and put onions in it after I specifically asked them not to. I called them and the lady said to bring the lo mein back to her. Upon arrival, she claimed the onions were lettuce (as if I don't know what onions look and taste like). She then refused to refund me $8.00 for the lo mein. Now I have to dispute the charge for the total amount ($35) with my credit card company because they should not get paid for the poor quality food and poor service. Why tell me to bring the food back to them if they already knew they were not going to refund me for it? I called the police on them and the police advised me to post this review to advise others to beware of this place. Too bad there's no option for 0 stars because I certainly would have given them a 0. Please beware! read more

I love this place. The best take out Chinese food around town! I've tried quite a few different things and everything has always been very good. The only draw back is that they don't deliver... but it's worth stopping in to pick your food up compared to the Chinese places that do offer delivery around Burlington & Willingboro. I have been going here for over 25 years and I have never been disappointed. The food is always good and consistent. I have ordered many egg rolls and not one time has it been cold when I got home. My wife is Brazilian and loves fried rice and she said this is some of the best fried rice she has ever eaten. I have no idea what this person from Florida is negative about. There are other Chinese restaurants in and around Willingboro and I don't think anyone is as good as Lung Wah read more

This place is a definite 'meh'. I've had great Chinese, and I've had awful Chinese. I tried this one based on others' reviews, and it was just not great. I ordered for pickup, and actually arrived before my food was finished...which I thought would be great--nice, hot Chinese food, right? The egg roll was cold and greasy, and the chicken fried rice contained almost exclusively dark meat, in addition to being barely flavored. The sweet and sour chicken was good, though, and their drinks selection is excellent--in all, not a BAD experience, just not a particularly good one. read more

I have to say that this place is no stranger to me I grew up near this restaurant and when I moved away from jersey 9 yrs ago I would always come back and have some of this yummy food!! when visiting it was one of the best in Chinese food in South Jersey. Sadly to say the long time chef retired and went back to china:( now the food is not the same,, You would never know it was the same place I and so many others before me came accustom to, The chicken was a staple now its bland not crunchy like it use to be and what in the heck happen to the seasoning???? the general toss has no more flavor and it is not the same delicious recipe it use to be. I am so disappointed that they did not stick to the same ingredients the long time chef used. The general toss use to have a crispy coat on it now its soft and the sauce is yucky taste like cleaner is in it. WHAT HAPPEN!!!! I think they should just call the chef in china ask him how the original recipe goes and start getting it right,,, Lunch Wah I really enjoyed you through the years but it has now come to a end. Been going to Lung Wah since early 90's during middle and high school. Love the food, nothing compares! I've moved away to several different states and every time I return to Jersey I get Chinese from Lung Wah and cheesesteaks from Gaetanos! These 2 spots never fail to satisfy my cravings. I AGREE with Vette M. This was our favorite restaurant for over 25 years. Everything we ordered was very good. For the past year, the food has been very disappointing. In addition, one of the employees who works the counter tends to be rude. You can sense that she does not want to be there. I believe the restaurant has new owners. The food at Lung Wah has taken a nose dive over the years. When we first moved to the area 20 years ago, we would order at least once a week. Everything was prepared well and absolutely delicious. The food now is just a step above mediocre. Since the decline, we may go every few months as opposed to every week and stick to ordering the simple noodle dishes and the egg rolls. The General Tso chicken used to be out of this world many years ago. Now it seems like they use dark meat chicken instead of white meat and one piece of sautéed broccoli in an overly sweet and gelatinous sauce. So, try Lung Wah if you're in the area but don't go out of your way for it. read more

I am a new customer to Lung Wah and I must say that their Chinese food is one of the best in Burlington NJ! Food is just really delicious and it always makes me feel full and satisfied. My favorite is their Fried Rice, I absolutely LOVE their Pork Fried Rice. They allow you to customize your rice and you can put Egg, Scallions, and Bean Sprouts in it, along with some Hot Oil (Spicy Cheyenne oil). Their rice with the egg, scallions and hot oil is to DIE for!! I'm so happy I was introduced to this place, this restaurant and Mr. Cheng's are my two favorite Chinese take-out locations. read more
