As anyone who knows me, they know that it takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but after years of disservice I feel compelled to write about my family's experience with this "restaurant". Their scallops? We were told that they were not "real". We told them that we had a peanut allergy in the house so ordered the cashew chicken? full of peanuts!!!! And unless you wish to be yelled at when you call to speak to someone about the order being wrong, make sure that you ask to speak to the lady, as the "gentleman" yells at you over the phone. Today, I ordered the "baby shrimp" platter as I was in the mood for some "baby shrimp", order was wrong and before I was able to explain, was yelled at by the man that it WAS baby shrimp????? All the food from my order was good, but this review is mostly for the hot and sour soup. I absolutely love hot and sour soup and I'm on a constant quest to find the best in the area. As of tonight and having tried ~10 other restaurants in Burlington county, this is the best. The broth was well balanced, light (not gelatinous like others), and had a good amount of spice and sour. It was not ~spicy~ technically, and I did end up adding more vinegar and white pepper to mine but that's because I like mine really hot and really sour (like, past what I could expect any restaurant to normally serve). Also, and please no one rely on this without calling them to confirm, I am fairly sure this soup didn't have any pork in it. Definitely going to call next time to confirm, but this is pretty rare for hot and sour soup and is good anyone who keeps Kosher/Halal. I also got the shrimp and scallop with garlic sauce, which was surprisingly good. There was a lot of the seafood (rare), they were still very well cooked and still tender (rarer), and the scallops were actually huge, not the tiny little ones you usually get (!?!). The sauce was a bit loose but tasty, and not spicy even though it was labeled as such (more like sweet roast garlic). My family got sesame chicken with added pork fried rice (huge portion, really good with some mild fried garlic on top) and chicken lo mein (really good, not greasy at all and fresh tasting veggies). Another great feature ordering on Grubhub was that for every dish you can add (for added charge) extra proteins (including lobster) and vegetables (I added extra mushrooms to the seafood dish and it was a lot). That seems like an awesome way to customize your meal and I will try it more in the future (is it real lobster?? I will find out). Anyway, definitely will be ordering from New China again and recommend it as in my opinion the best delivery Chinese in the area. *for the review below, all the ingredients indicate they're for a broth/soup mix, and "artificial beef/chicken" flavor is a common translated label for many types of ramen broth (one of my favorite types of ramen is literally called "spicy artificial chicken" in English), so I don't really think this is any fake meat or anything* read more

I haven't had I problem with their food, customer svc or delivery! I think their lo mein is the best I've had anywhere. So far it's all Great food and my family likes it too - especially the orange chicken :-) read more

This place is totally overrated. I ordered delivery from here bc I saw very positive reviews and after attempting to eat my dish I'm regretting that choice. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli and my parents ordered the boneless ribs with pork fried rice. We had similar complaints. Neither dish had enough sauce and we all found their sauces to be thin and lacking in flavor/seasoning. The only upside to this experience is that we ordered chicken wings that were pretty gd but I requested that they cut them in half and fry them hard and they did neither. Saw positive reviews so decided to try since most of the places I like were closed Sunday!!! What a mistake this place was so bland and terrible only thing good was the garlic wings! We got chicken chow mein, house egg foo young, pork yat and they all needed seasoning I've never ordered pork yat that was stingy on the onions!!! We ordered some appetizers the cheese steak egg rolls and crab sticks but how could you mess that up!!! We also got cheese wontons and they were flat like pancakes and dry and terrible!! Could not be more disgusted with this place. Delivers food to my brother in a nearby rehab facility after an illness. They send the wrong food to him and refuse to go back and exchange it. The one thing the got correct was soup which was bland and flavorless. Would definitely recommend going somewhere with better food and more considerate service. Started a new job in burlington and the people in the office have been ordering from here for a while... so far i have had the Chicken w/ broc, generals tso's, sesame, and Moo Shu Chicken... Really good! All white meat very tastey and very pleased so far with the consistency and quality of the meals i have ordered for lunch.... So I recommend this Chinese food restaurant! This is our normal Chinese take out spot. When we have a need for Chinese food we will turn to New China. Now the food is good and we have never had an issue with consistency however I wouldn't say it is the best I have ever had. The food is always fresh and never seems to greasy. The prices are really good as well for the amount of food you get. One extra plus is you can now order online which we did last night. It seems easy enough but we did a very basic order nothing special. Will have to try it when we want specific things and see how it goes. read more

We have been eating from New China for many years because their food is good and their location isn't far. Their delivery is extremely quick and, their new on-line ordering option is very convenient and easy to use. Every once in awhile we'll receive pork fried rice when we ordered white rice and other small issues. Tonight we ordered a chicken with cashew nuts meal and didn't get the nuts.
