Order general tsu Combination plate with pork fried rice and it came with an egg roll. Got a homemade ice tea to wash it down. General tsu was good had a little kick to it wasn't over powering. This is a little hole in the wall, easily missed if you are looking for ambiance. However, for a take out place it was very good! Food tastes clean and fresh, people were friendly and fast service and by far one of the cheapest meals I have had in years! Less than $15 were had two complete dinners! The food is standard Americanized Chinese food but tasty and fills yer belly. It is not fancy with exotic hard to find ingredients. Nope, it's the kind with brown or white sauce. Got 3 meals #'s picked up and believe they gave us wrong bill bc it was $49 for the bill when he picked up but wasn't sure so just paid but should have been about 38$ But the worst is it was so salty (general so) and the rice you couldn't eat it. This place is lucky to have two stars. I placed an order for 3 sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli, and a Singapore platters. Paid for it all but they only gave me 2 sweet and sour chicken platters. Called them to tell them they made a mistake and never gotten the 3rd one and they argued saying that maybe it slipped out the box while driving. Knowing that I'm the one that placed it on my lap. Basically I've been robbed for a platter that I had to pay cash for. Service was horrible and not to mention if I could speak their language they were definitely talking shit about me. I work hard for my money and all I wanted was my food that I ordered and no need to get over and try to scam this place for a free platter. I've been to this restaurant a few times and liked the food. But today was not good. I ordered General Taos chicken with vegetable fried rice. I was told it is spicy. I said fine good. The food tasted more like sweet chicken in beef gravy. Not what i expected. And not spicy but very very chewy chicken that tasted overly rewarmed. read more

I've tried Chinese food all over and nothing compares to New Hong Kong! I have a few go to dishes including: sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, roast pork with Chinese vegetables, and general tso chicken. All are just great dishes, plus the egg rolls are really good! I've been ordering from them for at least 10 years and I only ever had them mess up my order once or twice which I didn't even care because it never happens! The sweet and sour chicken meat is of a better quality than the general's chicken meat here. But they'll give you the sweet and sour meat with a side of general's sauce instead if you ask. Their broccoli dishes are great but the broccoli is usually very crisp/hard, which may not be everyone's cup of tea. The white rice is nothing to write home about, but most Chinese food places suffer from that flaw. The lo mien is pretty good. I've never had any of their pork or fish but their chicken and beef dishes are typically yummy. read more
