I've been here quite a few times and the food has always been good... They are very friendly and go out of their way to please you... My wife asked for extra garlic sauce on the side and they didn't charge us for it... They will cook your food to your taste... The last few times I stopped here I got the shrimp with mixed vegetables it was delicious... I always get a large portion... They make sure you get plenty of shrimp and vegetables... I also get the vegetable fried rice... My wife usually gets one of the beef choices and gets the Vegetable Roll... There are quite a few Chinese food restaurants in this area but I think the food here is better than the others... read more

We were craving Chinese food, and wanted to try a place we haven't tried before. We had a menu for China Wok and the prices seemed reasonable. We placed an order for fried pork dumplings, chicken teriyaki skewers, house special soup for 2, triple delight with garlic sauce, and fried noodles. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We were a little late picking up our order. When we got home our food was still warm. It was really good warm, I bet it would have been even better hot! The pork fried dumplings were so good. For me, they didn't even need sauce to dip them in. THey weren't greasy, even after sitting for a bit. The chicken teriyaki skewers were also really good. Good amount of meat and not fatty at all. Very flavorful. The triple delight was also very good. There were about 3 shrimp in it. They were a good size. I don't know if they were breaded, which I prefer. There was a good amount of chicken and veggies. I didn't have any of the pork but was told it was very good. The soup smelled good, but it was mostly broccoli and mushrooms. I ended up not having much of it. The fried noodles were just ok. They weren't the crispiest ones I have had, but they were decent. Overall we were very happy with our food, and definitely have added this place to our rotation. read more

Did I go to the wrong place? Do the chefs that know how to cook all have Covid and are on quarantine? If not, then nah, this place ain't it. Apparently, my local spot, Ho Wah, fell victim to the Coronavirus shutdown, and are no longer in business. I was having a hankering for some Chinese, so I checked good ol' Yelp and saw that China Wok, which wasn't that far from me, had excellent reviews! I wished my router would have crashed before I saw them. Nestled in an extraordinarily ratchet shopping center, I pull up to China Wok to pick up my take out order; the Chinese food 101 meal, General Tso's. *Price Is Right Horn* What a disappointment. First, there is ZERO heat on this meal. General Tso's is supposed to be spicy. At GOOD Chinese spots, there are whole chili's in there. There were; and may lightning strike me dead if I'm lying, like 3 FLAKES of chili in the whole meal. FLAKES.....like the size of a newborns pinky nail. Absolutely NO spice. Just a super sweet, syrupy sauce. I even wondered for a second if I had been given some kind of sweet chicken meal, until I saw the LITERALLY TWO, QUARTER floret slivers of broccoli. That's it? Is broccoli being sold by the milligram now? Secondly, how are you a Chinese food place, and you mess up RICE?! Mushy, unseasoned white rice. The cheesesteak egg roll was the only thing that saved that meal. Definitely won't be back. Maybe it was just an off day, but I can't understand the sterling reviews here. read more

Wow! Just tried, based on reviews because it's Monday and many Chinese restaurants in the area are closed. Had a taste for steamed dumplings, checked their menu, and they have vegetable dumplings. I got 8 steamed with sauce for $7 (4/2023) Delicious! These are 5 star dumplings. Will try other food next time. Dumplings contained cabbage mushrooms scallions carrots and sauce appeared to be soy with ginger scallions sugar and maybe a little vinegar. Staff is extra friendly and I'm thinking they have a genie in the back because by the time I sat down, order was ready. Weird. Lol read more

The place I usually go to on Cooper St is closed on Mondays so went to China Wok,,,BIG MISTAKE! Stay away from their Singapore mei fun. It's like they poured a whole bottle of curry spice on it...couldn't even eat it. Plus the service wasn't great. I won't be going back! read more

I love this place they have some of the best Chinese food in the area. It took me a while to find a good Chinese restaurant but I've been with these guys for the last 2 years and I have zero complaints. Everyone there is very nice. They will alter your dish in any way, shape, or form that you asked for...I add noodles to my egg drop soup, make things extra hot, add garlic sauce, etc. The delivery is quick the food is always hot. If you pick it up it's even faster, and they are usually very busy whether making a take out or delivery order. My menu highlights would be the Curry Singapore Mei fun, shrimp mei fun (extra spicy and garlic), egg drop soup, whatever egg foo young you prefer, and they have a shrimp with bacon and eggs special (sounds weird but It's Awesome! Give them a try, pretty sure they won't disappoint you. I order from here probably once a week or two. read more

One of the best places in Burlington County! I moved about 25 minutes away so I rarely get there. I was in the area so I picked up lunch for my family , I have never seen my 5 and 2 year old eat so much Chinese food. My wife says it's the best rice she's had since we have moved. We got 3 lunch combos , 2 sweet and sour chicken and 1 general Tso's . Simply delicious ! Eat here ! I will drive the 25 minutes when time allows moving forward! read more

This place is my go to for great Chinese food. During quarantine in April they were closed. I called them so many times. One day I got a call on my phone and the caller said "Hello, this China Wok! You call us so many times and now we open tomorrow. I know you and remember you." That just made my 2020 after a 2 month quarantine without my favorite Chinese food. Overall I say all that to say this; China Wok has great service and even better food. The garlic shrimp or chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce is absolutely amazing read more

General Tso chicken has been dry and tasteless the last couple of times I ordered. The sauce isn't supposed to be so thick. The Chinese pizza was hard and overly chewy as well. The dumplings are good, but all Chinese places seem to get the frozen ones from the same supplier. read more

My NEW Favorite Chinese restaurant. Best Chinese Food Around. Recently started getting food from China Wok. Have to say, as someone who has worked at and eaten family style regularly at Chinese Restaurants in my past, I am extremely hard to please. AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL. Everything is fresh, broccoli snaps when you bite into it. Portions are just right. Wonton soup is flavorful and wontons the perfect texture. In addition, they weren't put off with my alteration requests, which I immediately offered to pay for. As I said, I am a pain. Husband has a new favorite, which is General Tso's (insert any protein here, LOL). Seriously, from taking your order and ensuring it is correct, to the chefs cooking your food, right thru to delivery, everyone has been so very kind and super friendly. And did I mention, delivery has always brought us food that is hot and yummy. Please note that my review is unable to truly describe just how wonderful the food tastes, so forgive me. Watch out for this place. Since the pandemic started they are relentless in cheating their patrons. When you order delivery they double sometimes triple charge for the delivery. They also over charge if you are paying by card. They also charge you a 10% up charge for what they call getting their supplies. At this time the pandemic is over and supplies are readily available so I don't know what that is about. Nonetheless if you order from them and you are getting delivery and paying with a card, be sure to add up your charges to insure that you are not being cheated. I don't usually write reviews.. but this place deserves it. We ordered delivery online and the food came 40 minutes earlier than scheduled, and they brought us a free two liter of Sprite! Mind you, this was a Saturday night. We're somewhat new to the area and have been looking for good Chinese places, and it's safe to say that we've found our spot! I don't often give 5 stars after one meal but this place just set the new bar for my area fave for Chinese food. I didn't see the curry chicken on the lunch special menu, but that was ok, I don't eat much rice and don't like egg rolls. I got a pint of curry chicken, sauce on the side and egg drop soup. You may assume all egg drop is created equal. It isnt. This egg drop was the stuff of the soup gods. Nice and thick. Good amount of cornstarch, nice bright color and moist clumps of egg. so i recently moved to the area and i was in need of a chinese spot because i refused to drive an hour for my favorite place. anyway i came across this place on yelp and i saw that it was only 5 minutes from my house. perfect i thought... i read the reviews beforehand and for the most part they weren't bad but there was one that i read that said that his general tso wasn't spicy and i remember thinking "oh that's unfortunate but i don't order that so i'll try anyway" i go there and it's a sign on the door which says to call them to order because they are in the back. i call and order shrimp and broccoli in garlic sauce with shrimp fried rice and a shrimp roll. all basic chinese store items. man i should've paid attention to that general tso review smh. this sauce is so watery. there is no garlic, no spice, nothing. just brown sauce. i mean it helps to make the shrimp and the rice moist but that's about it. the shrimp roll was the best part. oh yeah they've increased prices due to covid as per the signs on their door. i would just say try at your own risk or try something not meant to be spicy. i personally won't be back. read more
