We recently completed an 11-day sail along the Sea Of Cortez; and before the trip, while mapping our route, we heard about the small town of San Everisto with a small grocery store, water refill "station," and a restaurant along the cove called Lupe Sierra's & Maggie Mae.
On say six at sea, we sent out a message on the public radio channel asking the restaurant to reach out; and they immediately responded to let us know they were open and could accommodate our group of six that same evening.
They have wifi (pay by the hour or full day), they margs, they have fresh and made-to-order food... we were in heaven! The menu featured everything from seafood to poultry to traditional Mexican fare. We started off with a few round of margs, cervezas, ceviche; I opted for the seafood soup. Others has fish tacos, quesadillas... the salsas were good. We left with plenty of leftovers. We also purchased two bottles of their red wine to enjoy on the boat because we were out of red wine. (Def wish we purchased more).
Important:
:: Pay with cash
:: Keep your distance from the staff -- and wear your mask when talking to them. I'm not sure if vaccines have made it out there, but they were very conservative with their personal space.
:: They can help you coordinate refilling your boat with water through a third-party. read more
