everywhere else i was getting charged $280 for a new key fob here they charged me $245 ZERO complaints about this place

BUYER BEWARE!! Requested for my door to be unlocked. I explained on the phone it was a mechanical door lock. He mentioned it would be $125 and I agreed. Upon arrival he didn't know how to unlock the mechanical door and asked if I had another entry. We went to the back which has a doorknob lock and deadbolt. He proceeded to unlock both with no problem. He then asked to see the front door which I thought was great and amazing service UNTIL... he "completed" the work (without fixing the door)and then told me, "It's $125 for 1 lock, your back door has 2 locks so that's an extra $25 and because I opened the front door it's another $25, so your total is $175. This was never explained or disclosed while unlocking the back door when he discovered 2 locks. I paid him but will NEVER call nor recommend Lupe for locksmith services.

Went to get two sets of extra keys for my plane, one small key and one round key. After the keys were cut I compared the round keys to the original key and the back of the key didn't match almost at all. I told them politely that I don't think the keys would work because the topside of the key was nowhere near shaped like the original key. Now I've had bad replacement keys made before and they don't work well. These keys were objectively worse than the bad keys I already have. The guy in charge (owner, manager, idk) immediately says "if he doesn't want the keys then take the keys. I asked if they could try again because I don't think they'll work. The guy got super defensive and started yelling at me about how long he's been in the industry. I tried calming the situation because he became unnecessarily aggressive but he kept insisting the keys would work, I know they wouldn't. Absolutely horrible customer service and it's never okay to start yelling at customers.

Quick service!! Within minutes of arriving, lupe (felt like he was my dad helping out his daughter haha) was very friendly and knew exactly what to do. We've had so many issues with our lock but he knew how everything worked. Definitely has a background of knowing a lot about locks no matter how difficult ours was. Service: Outside heavy iron garage gate that had a double bolted lock. Key hole broke off and was very difficult to lock. Result: smooth key lock and zero issues and all within 15 mins. Highly recommended.

OMG! the customer service rocks! I went to Home Depo for a mailbox key which failed, so I remembered Lupe's from a previous visit. The older gentleman made two keys and offered to modifying them if needed. At the home the lock would not cooperate so I returned to them store. The gentleman drove over and tweaked the keys & lock and voila! and did not charge me extra. Lupe's has my business for life. Thanks, Lup

I am so glad I found this place. After searching nearly half of l.a to program my I key remote for my nissan murano, Tony was able to do it for 150 :( but hey he did do it. I beat the dealers prices! Luckily I was able to find lupes business card in my moms truck. This guy Tony is the man. Really professional and great customer service. Reasonable pricing. I have an infinity fx35 and the last locksmith wasn't able to program any key. Took him about two month and at the end he wasn't able to do the job and I still had to pay for it. Luckily I called Tony. He was able to program an original key in less then 20 minutes. Money well spent. Thanks Tony. When ever I need a lock smith I'll make sure to call you. read more

I just moved to a new house and I needed several deadbolts installed. I shopped around first and decided to go with Lupe's. I'm so glad I did, these guys are top notch. Lupes Locksmith customer service was 100 percent. I reached out to them because I lost my cars keys and I didn't have a spare. I called them at 10 o'clock and in 30 minutes they met me at my location where my car was parked. Toney was the locksmith that came out. He communicated to me what and how he would code my new key and even made me a spare key for an affordable cost. My keys had to be programmed and had chips in them but it only took him and hour to finish the job. I'm so grateful because I never used a locksmith before and everything was easy and smooth sailing. last week i locked my keys in my trunk. AAA unlocked my car but i had to get a locksmith to come to make me a new key to get into the trunk. i was referred to Lupe's locksmith by the AAA guy and so i called. there was some confusion with my number and so i was left waiting for about an hour before someone (tony) was on his way to help me. tony made the key pretty fast and even gave me a discount for my wait time. overall happy but i was very frustrated with the confusion. would recommend.. just speak very clearly when calling in the shop for service :) read more

He went above and beyond to help me understand what options we had, what he recommended to make the home as safe as possible, and when I agreed I wanted to upgrade some of the locks based on his recommendations, he drove right on down to Home Depot to pick them up. My schedule was difficult, but Paul was very accommodating and came over at 7 PM to rekey everything even though he knew and told me it would take a few hours. We ran into surprises with the old locks on the house but Paul quickly put the "smithing" part of locksmithing to work and resolved everything rapidly. We had 3 doors each with two locks, as well as 2 gates and a garage door that all need to be rekeyed and it all went without issue. I'm so glad to have met Paul! I started a project on Yelp and contacted the Garage Door Doctor. I explained the problem to Alex and he scheduled an appointment for the next day. The service person Danny contacted me to confirm the time and was prompt on keeping the appointment. I discovered that he had serviced my neighbors garage door, coincidentally, many years ago. I also found a friend who had reviewed their business about a year ago. That was comforting to know. Danny diagnosed the problem and suggested to replace the spring, that the initially installed tracks were misaligned on a roller type garage door, and the existing opener motor was too weak to open and close the door (screw drive Genie). He came out the following day and installed and fixed the track issue within 90 minutes. The price was very reasonable considering it had been 13 years since and the new opener had new tech features like internet connectivity and a camera to see from inside the garage. No more worrying about the door being left open or someone breaking in. Thank you Garage Door Doctor! We always appreciate supporting local businesses, especially with good customer service.

In a time where it feels like a lot of places overcharge, it's honestly refreshing to find a business that is fair, honest, and truly customer-focused. Their response time was incredible -- they arrived in less than 5 minutes, and I'm about a mile away. Once they got here, they were super friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. They had me back inside in under 2 minutes. You can really tell you're paying for their experience and expertise. And the best part?
