Service requested: hardware replacement, keypad deadbolt install/rekey. Estimate needed to be in person for $50. I had to write price down myself and list items myself. Maybe locksmiths don't carry paper invoices. The $50 went towards the job though and since I didn't have the hardware, he drove to Home Depot to buy it and even drove there twice because I wanted to make sure it covered previous foot print so I wouldn't have to repaint door. Max was very thorough and provided quality options for repairing vs replacing our broken lock set. We opted for the smart lock which has several useful features and options. I am typically not keen on electronic technology relative to tried and true systems found in door security. But the system that Max explained was potentially superior to our existing analog system.
