Needed keys copied STAT! As many times as I've driven down this street, not once did I even notice this place. A locksmith in the middle of a predominantly restaurant filled street?! Wow... But after my run, I understand why they're a go-to for such things! And why they have a perfect rating. Parking is never really an issue in this area - even during the lunch rush - so I was in their store quick. There was no one ahead of me (sweet!) so that was great since I was kind of in a hurry (had to get back to work in a bit.) I let staff know what I needed (a pair of keys to be copied x 4.) She noticed that I labeled them with a marker (which will eventually fade out) so she asked if I would like to label the new keys accordingly - free of charge. (WHAAAA? This is the nth time I've had keys copied and I was never given that option!) So, YES, absolutely! And she got on it quickly. I looked around during the wait. Interesting what they have up in here. All kinds of locks, keychains, safe boxes, etc... I then realized I needed key rings for the 4 sets of keys I was about to get. Without looking carefully, I bought a set (comes in 4) priced at $5.95. When my keys were ready to go and handed the lady the packaged key rings, she said, "You sure you want these rather than buying them separately?" She explained the one I got came with a holster-type thing to hold all 4 pairs of keys (that I will not need!) Then pointed at a jar with the same rings for $0.78/each. OMG, whaaaaa?!?!?!? And I was on my way back to work in no time. Perfect PERFECT run! They are now on my radar for anything locksmith related! read more

I do NOT recommend this company, I dealt with Kevin, the owner, directly and he was rude and unethical. We had an urgent situation where we needed a rekey, he strung us along as if he was going out to complete the job, but when we asked him to provide a NTE quote even a high estimate , he said he could not take the job. He was extremely unprofessional and its unethical to give hourly rates without some sort of NTE cap. Sounded very shady. read more

So we had an issue where our Firesafe wasn't opening anymore despite being sure we had the code. We thought the issue was a dead battery, but every time I we replaced it it seemed to go dead. It was a real mystery. I called Industrial Lock and Security and went over the problem with Richard. He offered a lot of phone support and expertise on safes and their keypad mechanisms. He even started to do the work of tracking down replacement keypads since that seemed to be the way things were heading. In the end it turns out the issue was a long string of the new batteries we were pulling off the shelf being to old and a penalty timer that is in place when your replace the battery. Once we got the combo right over the phone with Richard's help we managed to get the safe open on our own. Phone support is free Richard said, but they've earned a customer for all of my key needs going forward. Thanks so much! read more

This is our local company locksmith, mostly for keys, for those of my team who toil day after day in LAX (about 3 miles from the airport). I've only had the privilege of visiting this place twice, but we've always been treated with respect and as much as they can, with speed. Very laid back staff with a resident fat black cat that will come greet you curiously as it makes its rounds. It's located on a popular lunch strip so come and park (for up to 2 hours). There's usually a spot or two and no meters. On the show room floor: safes, key rings, key hiders and cool key-centric décor. The original Rinaldi's is just a block and a half down from here. I used this company approximately 5 years ago to replace new door knobs. I upgraded to commercial door locks and they were solid. A few days ago, I walked inside their store and I spoke to Yon. I had to replace 2 different door knobs and Yon walked me through paces on how to install the commercial grade door knob. Yon included illustrated drawings. I installed the locks, but somehow I missed a step and the door knob wasn't flush. I called Yon and he sent a team member and fixed my mistake. Called to have our front door lock repaired. They had a cancelation and were able to send someone right over. Mike identified the problems and made the repairs. Shortly after he left, I returned from an errand to discover that my key would not open the front door. I called them back and spoke directly to Mike.
