The place is a casual fun place. Great bear specials. Don't ask for a frozen margarita. They'll pour your margarita over crushed ice. I went a few times the last two weeks of May '24. The male staff is super friendly and great service. Keep drinks flowing and chips and salsa full. There was a female waitress that wasn't as polite but she was the anomaly. Our party was huge. Took two tables so she could've been overwhelmed but we did have three guys that helped her. I do recommend! read more

Typically has about 5/6 ingredients Red onions.... Repeat red not white and there's a reason for this Tomatoes Cilantro Pepper Lime And the protein that your using! Well wherever this place got their recipe they used boiled shrimp.... Hummm.... Boiled?? That's not Ceviche Tomatoes And shit load of white onions!!!!!!! Just by looking at it I had heartburn! Tasted totally like a bowel of onions! And I still got charged! Their free chips and ketchup... I mean salsa Oh tube squeeze nasty ass guacamole! Like seriously your on a island that has a tree in everyone's yard why not pick some and use them! Terrible! Y'all should be embarrassed of yourselves. White people tacos at a "Mexican" restaurant? No real chicken (canned), no cilantro, no Mexican cheese, no pickled onions, or real avocados. Come on people get back to your roots! Salsa is more like ketchup and cheap tomato sauce. Also, last step to the roof top is much higher than the others and we all tripped going up. They ruined my husband's Ceviche! My husband said how can you F up something you don't even have to cook. Well, they did! No peppers and large chunky onions. They boiled the shrimp when they weren't supposed to. One bite and he only tasted onions. Most likely pre-made put in a bucket and the onions took over everything. They didn't even remove the Ceviche off the bill after only 1/2 a bite. Margarita is a pre-made mix. read more

I come to this place often. It's the best mexican restaurant in the west side of Puerto Rico. I highly recommend "Nachos Supremos" and the famous margaritas. Everything is good there. Great service and menu, great view as well. Don't forget to order the dessert: the guava cheesecake! read more

Lupito's is a small cozy Mexican spot in the beautiful town of St. German. Puerto Rico. They have a cool outside upper deck area. Nice selection of drinks, beer and wine. I had a shrimp ceviche actually very tasty and fresh! The chef even came out to ensure all was good! I was very impressed staff extremely nice! Cool spot if you in the area check it out. I ordered a corona and the guy told me here have a Sol its the same thing with out telling me they didn't have corona or offering something else. Sol tasted like shit. Horrible food , the place is always packed due to the location i guess for some people the view is worth the bad food and service. They dont even have fresh guacamole they only serve "guacamole paste" because its not avocado season and a couple blocks down a local supermarket sell avocados the whole season. read more

Amazing service and great food! On a random Thursday when nothing else was open, Lupito's was just what we were looking for! The man who waited on us ( and cooked!) kindly answered all our questions, checked on us to make sure we were satisfied, and was so, so nice in general. We each had the burrito supremo pollo, which tasted very fresh and delicious with homemade pico. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked good! We didn't notice until we left that there was rooftop seating, which looked like fun. I'll go back to Lupito's any day! read more

First off, the location is quite beautiful. Right in the middle of the "plaza" and with a great view of Porta Coeli, Went to Lupitos for a couple of drinks and we ended up ordering some nachos as well. The margaritas were good (I had original, my companion had passion fruit), and we ordered nachos with everything on top. My only suggestion is that if nachos are meant to have everything, put some guacamole on top as well. Other than that, service and everything was good. read more

A fun way to end my evening tour of San German. After strolling through the Christmas lights, I enjoyed shrimp with chipotle and tamarind sauce. My server advised that the chipotle was spicy and offered to bring it on the side. Thank goodness. It was spicy! I enjoyed dinner, a margarita and the flourless chocolate decadence cake on the patio overlooking the plaza decorated for Christmas. It was a lovely treat. read more

First time visitors and the waiter took the time to explain the whole menu specifying how each traditional plate was made. The food was good, my only complain about the chimichangas I ordered was that the plate didn't include any sides, but the plate overall was pretty solid. My wife ordered a taco combo, one taco with carnitas and the other one with "pollo al pastor", which wasn't near as good as the carnitas. If you are in the San German area for something good to eat this is a good place, be prepare because for been mexican food is not as cheap as it can be. read more
