Have you ever sent a delivery gift and the shop didn't put the little white card on the gift, so your friend would know it was from you? When that happened with Lush Balloons, I emailed them to let them know it was disappointing to have to tell my friend that the gift was from me. Lush Balloons responded by defensive email, on a day when their shop was closed, to let me know they "...ran out a few days ago..." of their "...free handwritten cards[s]..." I explained in my first email and my response that the point is not that their cards are free or that their delivery person read what our card said to the first person who answered our door. The point is that the card, free or not, needs to be with the $100 plus gift we bought when the intended recipient arrives home from work, etc. Instead of writing a defensive and unhelpful email to us, we wish Lush Balloons had stopped by Target to buy a box of cards until their free cards became available. read more

I would not recommend this company based on my recent experience. I was initially quoted a specific price via text message and phone call, and I proceeded to pay a deposit based on that quote. However, during our final phone conversation, I was informed of a higher total cost, with additional delivery and setup/cleanup fees that had not been previously disclosed. When I referenced our earlier communication and showed the text messages, the original quote for the balloons was ultimately honored. However, Sean refused to waive the added delivery and cleanup charges, stating that these fees were "industry standard." As someone who does not frequently order balloon arrangements, I relied on the pricing details provided to me and found the lack of transparency disappointing. I would advise others to ensure all pricing details are clearly outlined in writing before committing. Also- my mistake was to not fully reviewing the contract Sean sent over. It did not include the pricing breakdown....only deposit amounts. I should have been more careful- but I trusted our conversation and thinking I had text messages- I rushed into signing the contract After our party was over, we took off the ballon's and measured the length. I paid for 14ft of ballon garland, yet the garland measured barely 10ish. Be cautious when choosing this company *** Sean, why would anyone book with you without getting a price for service/product and paying a non refundable $300 deposit. It was never stated that your services start at $300 plus delivery fees. I texted you photos of what I wanted and you gave me a quote. I wouldn't have booked with you- without getting a price quote for my ballon arch and wouldn't have paid you $300 non refundable deposit. We spoke on the phone, I texted you a pic and you gave me a quote, never mentioning any other fees: You do this on purpose and raise your fees last min. You are not an honest business. And set up/delivery and clean up fee you charged- the clean up wasn't even cleaned up. Dead flowers and left over greens were left all over the floor. So, if you're going to change at least do the clean up properly Your wife emailed me stating that sometimes you do forget to mention the delivery fees. Shall I provide a copy of that email as well for your consumers to see? You don't forget- you omit the fees. Be honest read more
