Last month my hubby and I stopped in to look for some winter themed balloons and things for our daughter's 6th birthday party, despite the misleading girl on the telephone telling us they had nothing frozen or winter themed. To our surprise we found a lot, from candy, candles, party favors to decor. They had amazing Frozen themed balloons too, but we couldn't order them, since they couldn't deliver for our early morning party. This party city was alright. They had tons of Halloween options available and always has great party supplies for everyone, but the actual building looked like it was going to be demoed the next day. There were barely any lights on, it was pretty warm in there and the music that played sounded like it came out of a blown out speaker. The staff was friendly, but the lines took way long for there being not that many people and there was garbage all over the floors. Might be worth it just to order from somewhere online next time. read more

One star is far too generous. The girl that claimed to be the "manager" Jacqueline was a very disrespectful individual. She immediately inserted herself in my return transaction with another associate and sternly stated, "No returns on opened items twice." You would think that her and her sidekick were being paid off to be very rude, it was that bizarre. I've literally spent thousands of dollars over the years with this business, and I tell you what - these days, there are just too many other places to choose from to give my money to. Came in to get some balloons inflated and the checkout girl told me it would take 45 min. Since there wasn't much going on in the store I figured maybe they had some online orders to tend to. I walked around for a bit and then noticed three girls just standing by the balloons chatting and not actually doing anything. I can to stand by the counter instead to hurry them along, but instead they just kept chatting about their weekend for another 7 minutes before they noticed I was there. One girl then asked me if I was picking up the balloons and I said yes so she started them then. Maddening and frustrating. The customer service is terrible. People have things to do!!! read more

If I could put zero stars, I would the manager hung up on me after me asking where a simple firefighter hat was and I called back and as soon as I said hello I got hung up on again never in my life did I expect this from a customer service company especially one who's for kids if you want to keep on having a good day I highly don't recommend calling or going here!!! read more

The store has a huge amount of all different party supplies. I'm always greeted when I walk in. And they are able to blow up balloons while I wait. The only thing I would recommend is put out of stock stickers on the balloons that are unavailable. read more

They should be known for ruining parties and I wish I could give them zero stars. Ordered almost $100 worth of balloons in advance to be picked up at 10 am Saturday morning and was told sorry those won't be ready for 4-5 hours. By the time they would be ready our party would be over. Still no refund. No call from a manager apologizing for not having the main part of my child's decorations at their birthday party. They don't answer their phones. I'll be calling my credit card company to dispute the charge. Party City - you are a fraud and should be ashamed of yourself. I was sent here from the location on Sunrise because the sunrise one was out of stock of what I was looking for. I asked and employee to help me find the item. Since it wasn't on the shelf. The employee looked above by opening a compartment and without even looking said "yeah we don't have it." Before I could say anything he quickly walked away. The other store said that the store had five in stock. So it was really disappointing to get service this lazy and unhelpful. After asking another employee, they did have it. I was doing party deliveries for customers in Lincoln and came to pickup balloons one hour before drop off for a party... Not the person assisting me but some novice employee walking around doing nothing at all in a blue shirt with dark hair tells me about how I need to wait 30-45 minutes at the store for the balloons to deliver them properly... First I don't control the deliveries, I DO the deliveries Second he wanted to claim that they would deflate within an hour as I'm standing in front of a sign that says 11 hours minimum for latex balloons and they website garaunteed 18 hours! Retrain your staff or tell them to keep their opinions to themselves, I alerted the customer to what the staff told me and she was highly irritated and said the dollar store ballons lasted 4 months but you can't make yours last a day? She and her associated friends in Lincoln will no longer be ordering deliveries from this store because of that employee and I will be doing less delivery from here even with the $20 extra pay to do so. Every time I come into this store none of the employees are helpful or knowledgeable. I get that most of the staff are younger teens but the attitude when you have to interrupt their personal conversations to ask a question is unreal. Also, when you place a balloon order a week before you need it don't expect it to be on time. Our pickup order was 35 minutes late causing us to arrive to our own kids birthday late. All they could tell us was with it being 9/11 they have been busy with balloon orders. Usually this would be amazing to hear but that whole time we were in there it was all birthday, taco and lama balloons being blown up. Pretty tacky to put the blame on 9/11. read more

I use this location for all my celebration needs. They always go above and beyond to assist me and make sure things are just right. I usually do curbside orders but I had a delivery yesterday and it was fantastic. I am so upset with my recent experience at this location. I ordered balloons for an10am pick up as my granddaughters party started at 10:30am. Hot there a little before 10am and they had forgotten about my large order. When they finally blew some up they included balloons from a different themed party and they didnt give me my full order with all the balloons I had brought in! I told them that and they scrambled. I finally had to leave since I was already 30 mins late to the party!! They never offered to reimburse me or credit me and didnt care at all they they screwed up! Horrible experience! I give it 3 stars for the amount of stuff this store has. Bad: (1)Store music is messed up and double plays 2 songs at a time. Asked the worker there and he said yea it sucks and they can't change it or turn it off. Again 2 songs at the same time. My head was hurting bad!! (2) the store is messy with tons of Halloween stuff all over. Don't stores do this work overnight or early AM? Hard to navigate and look through stuff. In the sale section (see my picture) it's says a costume is $19.99 and on clearance for $20. Wait am I missing something?!?!? Good: (1)The air conditioning felt nice, wide isles, tons and tons of selections from different colors to characters to themes.(2) when they clean up, the Halloween section will be quite large.(3) they have a very nice ballon section. All in all: if you need color plates,napkins, plastic ware, table cloths just go to the dollar store. They are pricy here. Now for a specific event this is probably you go time store. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. There are 5 employees up front all dealing with random things. The line is piling up. I purchased balloons and they said 25 minutes and I have waited an hour now. I keep asking if anyone is going to help but no one can give me an answer. They are highly unorganized and clearly no one has any idea what they are doing. If you ever get balloons from here it will take over an hour of your time. Ordered a $20 birthday balloon bouquet. Received text order is ready. The text asks you to text you are on the way and when you arrive. Did both. My balloons weren't ready. Clerk at pickup window was rude and started helping others at the register, while I'm left standing there. Finally someone came back. The order had not been started yet. She kept explaining the process of the text, that it's automatic and doesn't reflect the real situation. I really don't care about the automatic process or how it works - or doesn't work- I just wanted my balloons and to leave the store. The balloons were inflated finally, and arranged so poorly - four at the same length and the birthday balloon impossibly longer. It all looks a mess, and the colors are not as shown. I'd rather go to Raley's. An absolutely expensive bust with poor service. I'd forgive it all if the product liked halfway decent. Don't bother to go there for this balloons. We came in on a Saturday, 2 hours early to get our own balloons blown up for our son's 8th bay happening in 2.5 hours. Walked in to a VERY long line, and found out it may take 1.5 hours wait to get our balloons filled. My husband was so upset and thought it was the end of the party. The manager Jason overheard how upset we were and yet, came to us and said he can do it for us right then and there. OMG!! We were so so blessed and couldn't thank Jason enough for saving the party. He blew up 30 balloons for us in about 25-30mins whereas the other employees were in the corner blowing up balloons as slow as turtle. There were a bunch of other ppl in line waiting for balloons to get blown too and were upset. Goes to show how serious and hard-working Jason was compared to his employees. Well after an entire day of dealing with what I can only describe as the poorest and most befuddling problem resolution process I have ever encountered no balloons. You can anticipate being hung up on after the third ring, placed on endless hold then disconnected, being denied the opportunity to speak with "management ", being told "we are busy and just can't get to this". Oh, they have no issue taking your money in advance then breaching your contract. No refund, no product. They even hung up on their own corporate office. I can't wait for them to come up new and even more creative ways to achieve absolute failure. Post script: Balloons showed up 2 hours after graduation, and mote than 4 hours after promised delivery time. I came here last week looking for a Halloween costume and ended up finding exactly what I wanted and in my size the staff working was very friendly and helpful and even walked me over to the isle of where I could find the item that way I wasn't walking circles I definitely appreciated the staff going above and beyond and helping me find exactly what I needed they have several different costumes to choose from for the entire family I am happy to say that my costume was under $40 which I am on a budget so I appreciate this a lot saving money always makes me happy LOL they definitely still have a great selection of costumes available in the employees were doing a great job at looking for costumes for the customers on their iPads this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very great staff very great experience they definitely A very wide selection of party items for all occasions definitely something for the entire family I highly recommend this establishment for anyone they are great very friendly and go above and beyond for all of their customers I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and we're great experiences to come thank you so much party city in Roseville California you guys are awesome read more

Went in on a Monday looked for bags of latex balloons there were NONE. Went and picked out the big $10 helium balloon for my daughter's birthday, they said I needed the "hi float" thought that was weird but did it. Paid for it and they said it would be ready Thursday morning when I needed it. Go in about 1pm on Thursday and they could find it no where. She finally goes to do another, I mention to do the hi float since I PAID for it, she said that's only for latex balloons not the helium ones. So either the associate that rang me originally had no clue or it's a big scam you guys have going to scam people out of there money. Went in to get a small balloon bouquet, nothing fancy, there was no one in front of me in the line, so I walked straight to the register and asked cashier if I buy these 4 balloons can you blow them up also, he stated he cannot blow them up till 2:30pm (it's currently 10:20). He stated they are busy with orders and another staff member standing behind the register ( doing absolutely nothing but standing there) said if we make the exception of blowing up yours now then we will have to do it for everyone. So very disappointed with my balloon experience with Party City this weekend. On Saturday, I went into the store, picked out my balloons, paid for them, and arranged to pick them up at 11:45 the following day. I needed to pick them up and get to the venue to decorate for a party at 2 pm. I arrived at about 11:50 to find out that not only were the balloons not ready, but they hadn't even started to fill the order. I was not the only person waiting for orders they had placed the previous day. I waited 30 minutes for them to blow up the 5 mylar and 12 latex balloons in my order. I understand the store is likely understaffed, but they need a better system of getting their orders filled, on time and as promised. If they have orders to be filled, they should not take walk in orders, or set the expectations for the walk in customers that they will be waiting for the prior orders to be filled. Yes, I could have ordered them for delivery, but with their 2 hour delivery window, they may not have arrived before the party started. I was told the window is 10 to 12 or 12 to 2. We didn't have the venue until noon and the party started at 1:30. As late as they were in getting my pick up order completed, it might have been 3pm before they showed up. After all that to have the main balloon break before the party started and others start to fail with a few hours was exceedingly disappointing.
