I met up with my best girlfriend and she asked why I had hair on my forehead... And I laughed and said, my love, those are blackheads! So I knew I had a problem, and I wanted to support a local business that would help me find the resolution for that problem. That is how I came across Chen's Skincare and Spa! I loved that I was able to book an appointment online through their website which was clean and easily navigable. They only took one person per hour in the spa which was comforting giving that we are living in times of plague and pestilence. I was texted to confirm and showed up the next day, a babe in the woods, ready for my first facial/microderm treatment! My technician was Hersy and she was very polite and very understanding! She made me feel welcomed after I revealed that this was new for me as a guy who admittedly didn't know as much about skincare as perhaps I should have known! She explained everything she was doing, what the effects were, and she even made suggestions on how I could better take care of my skin. It has been three days since my Gentleman's facial and microdermabrasion treatment and I have never seen my skin glow quite like it does now! Its wonderful and I've received so many compliments! I have fewer blackheads and my skin just feels incredible! I am so glad I came to Chen's and fully intend to return to maintain a proper adult's skin care regiment! However I had a terrible time getting my eyebrows threaded (did not catch the employee's name but I went on a Thursday and her station is on the left). Not only did she leave them uneven lengths, she was SOOOO aggressive with pushing on my skin with the thread that she grazed my skin and I have multiple bleeding spots. She didn't listen after I told her she was hurting me, saying this is what she has to do. I can't speak about the other workers but based on my experience with one employee, I will not be returning.

Too much competition to waste your time with someone so unprofessional AND that charges much more than her competitors to get lashes out of her apt.
