After a long and length process to have me buy a tanning package, which I declined, the total cost of 3 tanning sessions and the cheapest bottle (without tax) of tanning lotion, $60, Total was about $190. My first session, (bed #12), was awesome with the misting feature and air conditioning , It was absolute outstanding. I did notice that the room floor was filthy and there was lotion on the walls. That was concerning at the least. My second visit was very different. I arrived in the early evening and was promised that I would be using the same bed, but, in a different room. That was fine with me! Once I entered the room, I attempted to start the bed which it was not the same. Very different way to start the bed where the power button was on the wall .the original bed started inside the bed. I had no clue how to start the bed. I called the front desk from my cell phone while in the bed and was immediately put on hold. After waiting for approximately 3 1/2 minutes, I finally was able to raise the associate at the desk. The associate at the desk informed me that this particular bed needed to power up with the power button on the wall instead of on the bed as before. After that, I turned the bed on and everything was fine. During the 10 minutes session, I hadn't received the periodic misting feature? The session was over. I exited the tanning bed, got dressed and spoke to the associate at the front desk again. I obserserved the associate on her cell phone with the speaker feature on talking to a friend, I'm guessing, at the front desk. I informed her of the issue not having the misting feature. She immediately informed me that she wasn't sure why that wasn't working then replied, "oh, it must be out of mist? That's a two person job. One person has to be at the desk while the other person refills the bed. No one else is here so sorry.". After speaking with the associate for a few minutes, I was expecting, a credit towards a month pass. Something for the aggravation. Yet nothing was offered A few days later, I returned to the salon again and requested the bed that I had the first time, I asked, and I was informed that the bed did have misting agent within it. I informed the associate at the desk of what had transpired a few days before as for the reason I was asking. She was very nice, but, again, did not offer for me to speak to a manager or make any reparations for the situation. I finished my tan and left. I don't expect to return again. It has nice beds, if they are working properly, needs a really good deep cleaning, but, entire experiance really left a bad taste.

I wanted somewhere that was reasonably priced, easy to get into, provided a good color and sprayed by hand vs a machine. I used to go to another place in Mundelein that was also a hair salon but getting an apt was always so difficult but they did offer a spray by hand. However, the last few times I tried to go I couldn't get it. So I tried another place where the woman would come to your house but I didn't like the tan (could barley see anything) and it was so pricey. Then I tried LA Tan and I came out looking like I just went to the Jersey Shore. So I've finally found my place- Cabo Tan!!!!The owner is very sweet & helpful. The tan itself was literally the best I've ever had. I looked perfectly tan and it lasted the entire trip even after spending four days in the ocean. Apparently they have some secret tanning solution that no other shop uses and is better quality than the versa spa solution. Go give this place a try!

She probably spent about 1-2 minutes doing the tan and then it was done. I stayed in the room to air dry before dressing and driving home. I liked the immediate effect of the bronzer and was initially happy with the service but it did feel quite rushed but I decided to trust the process since it was my first airbrush spray tan. Was told to shower around 8 hours after the tan and I said I would set an alarm to wake up (it would've been 11pm) to do so and she said it was okay to just let it set overnight and shower it off in the morning. Later that evening as the tan was setting in I could see that the tan was "pooling" in certain areas like my foot and hand creases which I was hoping would be improved compared to the machine tan considering a person was personally spraying me and controlling the product application. Based on how dark I was already looking I decided to shower at 10pm instead of ruining my sheets and waiting over the recommended time to shower it off and I'm glad I did. I had a very dark but nice tan overall but the hand and foot creases were very bad so I was disappointed. Less than 24 hours my foot tan was extremely splotchy and wearing off in certain areas (photos attached). While changing into my bathing suit (got tan for trip to Florida) I realized that the tan about the back of my thighs had essentially never set in due to presumably sitting and sweating in that area while driving home (also felt rushed to exit the tanning salon before I felt "dry" and feel that contributed). The foot and leg issues were both prior to getting in the swimming pool as I know that obviously expedites the tan "wearing off". After about 48 hours from the tan most of the tan had completely washed off from sweating in the Florida heat and a couple dips into the pool. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED as I paid more at $35 (normally $45) to get this "custom airbrush" tan and I probably got a better tan overall with my $15 LA tan machine spray tan. Will not be returning.

Denna was fast, incredibly detailed and gave so much information. I knew exactly how to prep and care for my skin afterwards. HIGHLY recommend her body balm. I took it with me on my trip and it was great for after sun exposure and my dry skin. My spray showed up and looked natural. Although I did get some good color that came with the consequence of a rash that I broke out in from their beds. I'm not sure if the beds weren't getting cleaned or if it was the product they were cleaning with, but I ended up in the emergency room and on medication for a of couple weeks. The staff was friendly and again the bulbs were great resulting in good color during a short period of time, but the side affects from the beds was enough to have me not return for future service.

I was able to get a 4:00 appointment by calling around noon (same day) but she also takes walk-ins when she has openings. The only drawback - they can't add gratuity to your credit card, which probably ends up shorting the stylists and nail tech because not everyone carries cash. Knowing this ahead of time, bring cash for a tip.
