I almost didn't write a review because I do plan on going back and wanted to give it a second try before passing judgement. All that to say my service was just ok. I went for a mani. The stylist was great. Loved our conversation and my cuticles look great. But their selection of regular polish was minimal and the bottles all looked old. The color I picked out was thick from age. I said I could pick a different color but she said it would be ok. It's not. But I don't put having poor products on the employee. Invest in new polish and I'll make you my regular salon. read more

Extremely disappointing customer service and scheduling experience. I booked an appointment with Melanie Saldivar a week in advance for Saturday at 1:00 PM, which was the time suggested by the receptionist. I rearranged my entire day, moved other appointments, and adjusted my work schedule specifically for this appointment. The salon called only one hour before my appointment to tell me that Melanie Saldivar would not be available because she was running behind with another client. This was especially frustrating because the salon had called the previous day to confirm my appointment, and I had clearly confirmed that I would be there. After I explained that I had already reorganized my schedule, they offered me a 2:00 PM appointment instead. I arrived a few minutes early and then waited for nearly 30 minutes. I had even skipped lunch to make it there on time. At that point, I decided to leave because there was no clear communication about when I would actually be seen. What disappointed me even more was that after I left, no one called, texted, or checked in to see what happened. As I am writing this review at 3:00 PM, I still have not received any apology, update, or follow-up from the salon. This entire experience showed a complete lack of respect for a customer's time. I planned my day around this appointment, only to deal with a last-minute change, a long wait, and no communication afterward. Professionalism and customer service were completely lacking. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values their time and expects appointments to be honored and customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. read more

The lay out of this place is terrible. It literally feels like you're sitting on top of other clients while getting your hair cut. I had Maggie cut my hair, unfortunately later on I learned she's a good for nothing gossip so now this place just leaves an overall bad taste in my mouth. read more

Julia is a hair genius!! I haven't been thrilled with my current, now former, salon and went to see Julia on a friend's recommendation. My friend has the best hair ever so it was a no brainer. Super cute salon and everyone is so nice there! Although it was my first time meeting Julia and there is a couple generation gap between us we were instantly chatting like old friends. She really listened to my wants during the consultation and made a couple of great suggestions. I walked out of the salon completely in love with my hair!! Lost a couple inches and have amazing new color!! I would not hesitate to recommend Julia to anyone. Seriously, go check her out! read more

Disappointed that I paid $110 for a root touch up by a top level stylist, and ended up with a stripe between the old and new color. They did offer to redo it, but I declined based on reviews that they have chemically burned the hair of other clients. I didn't want the chemicals sitting on my head again. Secondly, I was asked if I wanted a glaze and I declined because I mentioned to stylist that I use my own toner product. When I checked the charges after noticing that my appointment deposit hadn't been refunded, I called and found out that I had been charged $35 for the glaze anyway, along with my deposit being applied to the total that I paid. They tend to push services and products. I understand about the importance of adding to the bottom line, however, they need to do a better job of making it clear to the customer that it's not included in the expected price and get approval from the customer on the additional cost. After sharing my disappointment with some friends and family, it was unfortunate to find out that a couple of them have had the same experience. It makes one wonder if a stylists promotions are based on upselling, rather than great service. read more

Be careful !! After years of coming to this place i left sad, traumatized and to the point that i didn't want to see myself in a mirror. They chemically burned 22" of my hair and left me with 4 different shades of browns. My hair was dark brown. I wanted to color it chocolate copper on the dark side, nothing crazy! You would think that the owner will reach out and say something , never happened. I also have all the text where her employee refused to fix it and wanted me to pay her $500+. I am beyond sad, depressed, traumatized and honestly im adding all the pictures , receipts to prove all the years of me coming to this place and paying 300+400+ each service. The cherry on top the owner canceled all my future appointments. UPDATE: they wanted to fix my hair and I was being charged for the services. My husband called to ask why she cancelled the appointments. She said that it was because my husband posted a 1 star review. I checked and it was a Latin name so I guess it's my husband lol If the owner was this responsive like she is in this reply in giving me all these solutions we wouldn't be here writing on google after years of going to her salon. read more

I love Glam Street Salon! Every time I arrive for my appointment I am greeted warmly and provided excellent customer service. The check-in and checkout process is nice and easy and at times they even have raffles for customers to enter when checking out. The raffle baskets always contain great products so it is hard to choose which one to enter! I followed Sarah from a different salon and she has been doing my hair for almost 10 years now, and I have never been disappointed with her service! She is great at what she does and is very knowledgeable about the different products/services they offer. Overall, Glam Street Salon is a great place with great stylists. I love Glam Street Salon!! Being that my hair type can be quite different and difficult to deal with, I never felt like the stylists at Glam Street had any issue with it! Everyone is super nice and has amazing personalities. The stylist that I love to go to is Dee! She is the sweetest person ever and will make sure you feel comfortable with the style you are going for! I trust Dee, and really any other stylist at Glam Street, to do my hair! I was very disappointed off this place. I made my appointment about a month ago to do my eyebrows. Arrived 20 minutes early. My appointment was from 3pm to 5:30pm. My surprise was that Monse did not know what she was doing to me and she had scheduled another appointment between the time I had booked. She give all the excuses you can think off to compensate her unprofessional. Maybe I didn't look like I was able to pay for this since one of her excuses was that I had to put inn $100 dolor as a deposit. But you'll be surprised my dear. After calling ahead and getting a price for a cut and style, my 16 year old daughter went to her appointment and was talked into additional services that a young girl with healthy hair does not need. She didn't realize the additional services were not included in the price originally quoted. Needless to say she paid more than I do for a style and color. Easily a 5 star salon! The salon is always organized, cleanly, and well decorated. The staff are all very friendly. I travel from WI, but definitely worth the drive. I go to Sarah for all of my hair care needs, as well as waxing. I followed her from the previous salon she worked at and never second guessed it. I leave feeling beautiful each and every time and like seeing all the other great work done by all the girls at the salon! I took a chance and booked an appointment with this salon in October 2020 for the first time. No referral, chose it because it was close to home. Worst decision I made. Asked for stylist who knew how to cut layered, curly hair, well. Receptionist booked me with a stylist named, Samantha. Trusted that she knew how to cut my hair. Used a razor blade for my entire cut which makes curly hair even more frizzy, and several experienced stylists told me is a no no for curly hair. I got home, tried to style it and it was an un-even, choppy hatchet job. Booked appointment to go get it fixed. Awful service, told I had only 1 week to get it fixed, and the day of appointment, I was running late by 10 minutes and called them 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Receptionist reminded me that I only had a week to fix my awful haircut -yet I was kept waiting 12 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment for the 1st haircut. When I finally sat in the chair for the fix, Samantha looked at it and said, "it's not that bad," even though I was clearly quite upset. She couldn't fix it and I am still growing it out. 2 of my stylists told me I was missing a chunk of hair on one side and it will probably be summertime of 2021 before it grows out enough to blend well again. Save your money and skip this pretentious salon. Get referrals from friends, especially if you love their haircuts. Have since found an amazing salon and recommended 3 friends to them. I tip 25% and take care of my stylist for a job well done. read more

I've been going to Glam Street since it opened and have never had anything less than a great experience! They have an awesome covid protocol by having you call before you go in to make sure there's not too many people inside. They also ask if you want any water or coffee as soon as you walk through the door,they're all so sweet! All the girls are very timely and work with you to get you in as soon as possible. I personally go see Sarah and she's always gone above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with my hair! From my understanding, they constantly have workshops so they are always learning about new products and techniques to improve their services and skill sets .They also offer so many other services like ombré brows, manis, pedís, and Brazilian blowouts!
