I live in the area and never tried them before but my former nail salon was a drive to get to and I couldn't get an appointment. It is Christmas week and I called to see if they could fit me in. They said they could see me right away and I jumped in the car and went. Kim was my nail tech and she did a great job and took her time with my pedicure and manicure. They are very clean and have an attractive setting. read more

The shop is clean and welcoming. They will serve a drink like water or wine during your service. The associates are very informative and helpful with everything they offer. My friend and I came in for pedicures and a pink & white fill. I had to explain 3 times that I wanted a fill for my pink and white acrylics. Instead my nails were filed down to nothing and they did a dip. They are uneven and wonky and I have zero length in my nails. The only male in the salon did my nails and they weren't worth the price. I am originally from California and the price I paid for excellent quality is what I paid for poor quality. I will not come back here again. Also they only accept cash tips but didn't have any notices posted or an ATM. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Pros: they did a fantastic job, they are the only nail salon to ever offer my wine, my lady gave me a really nice massage , good price, one of the only salons close to my house Cons: IT WAS QUIETER THAN A LIBRARY!!!!! They only accept cash tips which is fine but they need to have a sign so that people know. The staff seemed frustrated I didn't know what color I wanted (I went in to get a pedicure since I'm a bridesmaid but forgot to ask the bride about the color) even after asking for help it took a long time to get an actual opinion If I could add a video of how quiet it was I would. I was in the salon for about 2 hours just to get a pedicure and sat in silence the entire time. If that's your idea of a perfect spa day this would be a good place for you but I couldn't take the awkwardness. Would I recommend? I've now been to Lush 3 time. On my last trip I asked one of the nail techs (Lo-Anne, but I'm unsure of the spelling) if she could wax my brows. Of course, she said. Did a very good job for $10. She asked me if I also wanted a pedicure? I didn't think that was possible due to recent issues with my feet. But Lo-Anne convinced me and gave me a great pedicure for $25. Plus I chilled with a complimentary glass of wine while my feet were soaking. Only nag: The gal who has done my brows in the past also colored them. Lush/Lo-Anne doesn't offer that. DO NOT let the gentleman do dipped nails on you. I needed a fill and didn't want to drive to Chester where I got them done originally and my nails look horrible. I didn't say anything in the shop because I was so befuddled by them. They are thick and caked in and he didn't clean after he did them. I'm beyond disappointed and will not be returning. I'll drive the 30-45 minutes from now on. I returned to the salon after speaking with someone over the phone about my experience. Not only were they extremely kind and apologetic but I was able to have my nails redone by a different person and she did a wonderful job! I'll be returning but asking for her from now on. read more

I drove 20 minutes to this location and walked in today for a pedicure and was told there was an hour wait and was asked to come back in an hour. I went to get lunch and run an errand and came back 45 minutes later to wait. No on even acknowledged that I was there or had been there before. Despite this, I waited another 15 minutes, yet they took two people for pedicures who arrived after me. I gave up and left. I guess they do not need new business. read more

My daughter and I went to Lush Nails & Spa in late July for a pedicure and nail fill. The asked for a price list and picked the deluxe pedicure. The technician was friendly and gave a good massage. The nail tech seemed good but he managed to cut my finger with the Dremel tool while taking the gel polish off. He never acknowledged that he had done so even though there was a th8n trace of blood. When it came time to pay we found that we were charged quite a bit more then expected. Seems that the technician that gave us the price list did not speak English and just kept saying yes to our questions so we were mistaken in what we thought we were paying. Mistakes happen, we paid and left. 3 weeks later I went to a different salon and had a pedicure. The technician there let me know that she thought I might have a fungus under a couple of my toe nails. I thought everything seemed ok, just a little dark under them. But appears she was right. My toenail came off. So needless to say I did not have a good experience there. read more

A marvelous salon right here close to home. It is modern, clean, airy and has a relaxing atmosphere. The owner is a welcoming professional who takes the time to get to know clients. The technicians I have seen are capable and caring. My experiences have been ones that will bring me back to Lush again and again. No more need to drive to Short Pump or Mechanicsville when I need a service on short notice. I feel quite certain that if I were ever less than pleased with a service, the staff would make it right. I dont know if his name is Henry, but the older guy that did my pedicure today needs to change careers. He botched someone's finger nails before he got to "work" on me. While someone else was fixing her nails, he was filing my toes and watching everything going on behind him. For the first ten minutes of my twenty minute pedicure he didn't look at my feet. $25 and I'll have to go again next week. After he finished he walked around with his hand INSIDE of his shirt scratching his ARMPIT!!!!!! All this while another older woman walked around swishing mouthwash around in her mouth. Not only was this the worst pedicure I've ever had, it was the most unprofessional bizarre experience I've ever had. Never again..... read more

Came here on a whim while out of town. Told the nail tech I wanted them shorter so she cuts them shorter and then I told her i usually get them coffin shaped. She looks at me and with the biggest attitude says "you should've told me that earlier now their too short. That's your fault" I say okay no problem and let her shape them. As she's filing my pinky nail she slips and her drill cuts my finger also says with an attitude "SORRY" at this point I was already ready to get out of there with unpainted nails but I had already made this far. She paints my nails in a rush and when I get done I've noticed she missed a spot, it's chunky and blotchy and my nails are not the same shape or length on either hand. At this point I get up from her station and go sit next to my mother and tell her how dissatisfied I am. When we finally get home to Florida I go to my nail salon and get them fixed. Oh and HE manages to shape them to the shape I want. Oh and my mom got a nail fungus here. If I could. No stars. Don't waste your money here just drive to Richmond. read more
