Second time getting my lashes done here and didn't have the best experience both times. Pros: -clean location -apt time was on time (little to no waiting when I arrived for my apt) -lashes came out okay The following is from my recent experience 12/02/24. Cons: First flag was when I arrive and was told to wash my lashes and go to one of the beds, the lash artist did not wash her hands prior to my appointment. (The first time she was literally in the middle of eating and put her food down to do my lashes, second time she was just on her phone). Second flag was when I asked for length 16-17 and confirming it 2 times prior to the start of the apt, I found out after that I was lashed with 18. Third flag is, although I do understand accidentally gluing multiple lashes instead of one does happen, however I've never experienced such pain when getting my lashes done. She had to pull my lashes apart multiple multiple times. At one point my eye was pushed open by the tool she was using when she tried to pull the lashes apart and a lot of glue got in my eyes. This is all aside from the intensive burning that occurred initially during the first attempt the lash artist tried to pull the lashes apart. I did speak up multiple times that my eyes were burning and the lash pull apart hurt. The only thing I was given was a fan blowing on my eyes as she continued to rip my eyelashes apart. When the service was finished, I was told to sit up where a couple of my top lashes were glued to my bottom lashes. Which brings me to my fourth flag, she literally plucked them out with tweezers. It took her 2 hours and 20 mins to finish a new full wispy set. Just for me to notice when I got home that the outter corner right eye was never finished. I literally have a gap at the end (Picture 1). I am beyond frustrated and had to go back 3 days later where another lash artist was able to fill in the gap. The owner was very nice about the situation and I didn't have to pay any differences. However 10 hours later the same eye, had an entire lash chunk just fall out. The same part of my lashes the initial artist kept pulling apart ( picture 2). I did not get my lashes wet within 24 hours both times, nor did I brush them out or even touch them. I absolutely loved the way the lashes turned out after the fill but I can no longer endure the pain and lack of quality done to my lashes. I have been coming to LUV Beauty for almost a year consistently and will not be returning. I have had 3 issues with this location with appointment times and all 3 times their team does not seem to care or offer a genuine apology. The most recent time, I booked an appointment on the Booksy app and realized I booked a lash tech I've seen previously and didn't like how she did my lashes (Tina). I saw Bella had good reviews so I cancelled the appointment with Tina and rebooked within a few minutes of my first appointment with Bella instead. I booked this appointment on 9/8 for today 9/11. I arrive a bit early to my appointment and the receptionist recognizes me and says, "I don't know what happened but we don't have an appointment for you." I show her my confirmation of the booked appointment and says "It looks like because you cancelled one appointment right before this we didn't write down your second one." She asked if I wanted to come back tomorrow and I told her not really. Especially after driving 45 minutes from work in traffic. At that point she basically stared at me and didn't really apologize or offer any solutions and continued to stare up at me. I told her it's not her fault but it's incredibly frustrating considering I've had 2 other last minute issues on their end and they never seem that apologetic. She ended up booking me for tomorrow but seemed annoyed that I'd be upset and the barely offered apology did not seem very genuine. The last two issues I had with this salon, my normal girl Ivy was either on vacation and they didn't turn off her availability and told me when I got there, or they didn't let me know she'd be out sick until the moment I arrived when I very specifically only like Ivy's work and didn't give me an artist who does similar work. I get illnesses and vacations come up but communication in advance at the very least should be a minimum you offer your clients. I've had both Tina and Hailey and have bad retention / clumpy lashes / not the style I requested. I asked them to share the feedback about the previous two incidents with the manager the last two times and it seems to never make it to her or she doesn't care. I've honestly been debating on going to my old lash place (Elegant Lashes by Katie in OC) and am going to cancel my appointment at Luv Beauty and go back to them. Worth the drive for the quality I get and the booking consistency. Ivy has been an amazing lash tech so if you do happen to come here, ask for her. Otherwise, be aware of the concerns myself and others have shared. read more

this is by far has to be the worst eyebrow lamination i have received, they first left the product on too long that it even slightly bleach my hair from dark brown to a very light brown at the tips. in the end they wax your eyebrows with out showing you how your eyebrows already look before waxing. on top of that they wax way tooo much off my eyebrow for a second i thought they took my whole eyebrow off. once they are no longer laminated they will be very thin as they already are being laminated and my eyebrows are thick on their own. not only did she wax them but both eyebrows don't even match they look slightly different from each other, my eyebrows are normally rounded, and she shaped them to have a a pointy look which i did not ask for. i honestly can't remember her name, but remember her face, it was one of the young ladies there on Thursday night 9/28/2023 6:15pm with light/golden brown hair. i got my eyebrows done for a wedding and now feel very insecure about my eyebrows, they are everything to me and they make up your face. i now feel like i look mad with out even trying to look mad. i think that they should learn to let their customers see their eyebrows before going in with the wax. i have never had a problem where i had to ask them not to wax the whole thing off and give me a different shape. usually it's always just a "clean" up from the bottom & they keep your eyebrow shape. that is what i am use to. regardless Luv beauty shouldn't be waxing so much off eyebrows that it gives them a different shape and size. let alone different shape on each eyebrow. here are my photos from the lamination i got here. and vs. how my eyebrows are usually thick. completely different. i would also like to point out that when you get your eyebrows/ eyelashes done almost 95% they do not give you the spoolie they use on you, and i'm sure they put that spoolie right back into their stash and use it again on another person, which is probably why so many girls have left reviews here saying their eye has got infected or turned red. bc i from experience never witness them throw away the spoolie. sure they make you wash your face before any service but what's the use of they don't wash their own hands after each person nor use new spoolies. also i would like to say do not request Tina, you could ask for Hybrid lashes, but she will apply the martial/lashes used for a classic set to create your hybrid "look" we all know that hybrid and classic lashes are two differently materials. hybrid are more smooth and have a soft feel, while the classic look have more of a ruff shiny look to them bc they are cheap. it was only with Tina i would have this problem. any other lady i would get my lashes with actually provided the correct material lashes used for the Hybrid look. don't get ripped off paying extra for Hybrid with tina and she's giving you cheap material. read more

I've been coming here for a year. I always see Hailey. I made an appointment to see Hailey on Tuesday for Saturday. I get a call Thursday saying Hailey was going to be off and I could see someone else at 1030. I get here at 1015, and was told it'll be awhile. Fine, here it's 11:12?! I asked the front desk what's going on and she says that they had me down to just see whoever is available. What?! Why lie and say I have an appointment with another person at 1030 when in reality I'm on some waiting list that I wasn't aware of. That's ridiculous! January 17 This eyelash establishment is TERRIBLE! Don't recommend at all. The girl tech hurt my eye, not once, but twice it was burning my eye. I have been to plenty of eyelash technician, sadly, my original girls that I normally go to we're fully booked. I looked at this place and it looks very clean and professional, so I decided to give them a chance. I came in to get a full fresh set, I had some of my old set on me so I asked for a removal and a full set, her name is Maria. She began to do the removal process. Everything seemed OK but then it started to burn a little bit. I told her and she said she was done and GET UP FROM THE BED to just go wash my eyes in the sink that was across the room?? First sign that was not OK. I tried opening my eyes a little bit to try to see where I'm walking to and I told her I can't see where I'm going. She then told me I will guide you to the sink. She take me to the sink and I washed my face and felt a little bit better . I then went back to the bed, and she began doing my full set. Everything was going good nothing out of the ordinary. When she told me she was done she asked me to open my eyes and I open my eyes, and it began to burn again, and I told her it burns it's hurting me so she said OK let me blow some Air on it. After she did that, she told me to open my eyes again. I told her it still kind of burns. She said it's fine it'll go away. Keep in mind all of this was because I do believe she was rushing extremely fast. I was a walk in I called in the same day to see if there was availability, they took me in, but I do believe she was being rushed because when I got there, she was calling her other clients to push back their time because she was running late. Money isn't everything your clients should be more important than anything else. If she was fully booked or unable to do it, she could've said no to me when I called. I couldn't handle the pain. I waited the next day, and my I was still red and irritated and burning. I called this establishment and I told him about it and they said " well I don't know what to tell. You just drink some medicine? " I was so shocked to the response. I told him I was going to call my doctor and if there was anything serious about this, I was going to ask for my money back. I called my doctor, and they said that she most definitely irritated my eye. If I had mentioned to her, it was burning, and it might have gotten into my eye. The doctor then recommended me some prescription and also if it continues to itch or irritate to put a damp, hot towel on my eye to relieve the pain WHICH WOULD MEAN RUIN MY EYELASHES. So I called back this terrible establishment, asking for my money back. The manager told me to send pictures of my iPad to her personal phone so I did. They told me they were going to give it to me my money back the same day, but of course they did not. I waited a call again the next day later, and they said the same thing until they finally refunded my money. I then told her I was going to write a bad review, but I didn't because I didn't want to be so mean and go as far as doing that, so I let it go. Then I get a message from the "Managers number" saying if I want to make a appointment soon and schedule with someone else since they do have six other technicians, I thought oh wow, that's nice. She is looking to get my business again I have screenshots of it of course attached to this. After I explained to her my concerns about the incident that happened the last time I was there She then gave me three different names who she recommends after I messaged her about my last incident. So I called the establishment letting them know about my text messages with her manager and I scheduled an appointment for the next day with someone else for today 2.8.23 I then get a call literally an hour before my appointment trying to confirm asking me if I could come in 30 minutes earlier I told them I can't I was at work and they said that's fine. We'll see you at 3 PM. They call me again and they tell me I have to pay the $100 for my past eyelash day since I'm coming back to them and I told them Ashley texted me I decided to give you guys a chance again but they said no in order to come back you have to pay your last day and then pay a full set again today!?!?! What is wrong with Ashley the manager does she have no common sense of customer service. Saying that the message was an automatic message and that she didn't mean to contact me how unprofessional is that to send an automatic message to someone that is unhappy with your establishment making me waste my time Ashley saying I told her I was going to takeoff my eyelashes. Why would I do that? my eye is irritated burning. I told her I contacted my doctor and my doctor recommended me to put a hot towel on it which would cause the lashes to fall off quicker and damage one of my eyelashes which it did! read more

I haven't gotten my lashes done in over a year, even though they bring me so much confidence, because of my severe anxiety. Today I decided on a whim, that I'd like to have that confidence again. I walked in at 10am and was immediately greeted by KoKo, she took me to the back and made sure she understood exactly what lashes I wanted. Though I was too nervous to explain how my anxiety makes me prone to panic attacks during the service, KoKo made sure I was comfortable. I took a break once I was feeling overwhelmed and asked if it'd be ok to go to the bathroom. She helped me up and assured me it was ok. I know I could have been frustrating with my jittery eyes and the taking of a break, but I truly didn't feel like a bother.
