This was my first time coming to diva lashes. I was in need for a new set and came to this place due to the photos or examples they have on their yelp and their reviews. I'm saddened to say but I would not recommend this place. I am truly appalled and upset with how my lashes came out. I spent two hours on the chair expecting to have beautiful lashes at the end however that was not the case. I did a full volume sexy eye look But what I got in the end was a mess. As you can tell from the pictures the look was not full volume, the lashes are placed in odd spots and despite them telling me to brush it out it still does not look even decent. If you check their photos you can see how full volume the other customers are however mine is a mess. Both eyes are not the same, and there are some lashes that are not even glued to my lash it's glued to my eyelid. This is not even full volume as well. Excuse my language but this was half assed. I am truly upset because I expected what the photos showed on yelp, but I got less. If I could I wish I got a refund because this is not something someone should be paying for. read more

Diva Lashes is awesome. This was my first time ever getting my eyelashes done. I was apprehensive and scared of being one of those people that look ridiculous. They made the process easy and comfortable. They knew their stuff and gave good advice. The environment was clean and relaxing. It was a little uncomfortable having my eyes taped and closed for an hour (which is part of the procedure whenever you get you lashes done) but the "shield" thingy they put under my eyes was cool and refreshing. It felt like being at a spa. They have easy listening music playing but if that's not your thing, you can bring your headphones/earbuds and listen to music on your own device. Lucy put my lashes in for me. I got the rainbow lashes in size 11. Looking at my lash line, it's impossible to tell that I had individuals put in. The lashes look like they grew out of my skin just like my regular lashes. I feel glamorous and honestly don't need to even wear eyeliner or mascara. My eyes look clear, full, beautiful and open. Since it's a new location, it was 50% off the regular price. I loved it so much that I got the one year membership which gives a $25 discount on getting a full set. The membership cost is recouped after two applications and saves me $250 per year (over the regular cost) assuming I get them done every month. Honestly, I'm looking forward to having this be part of my beauty regimen every month. I got so many compliments from random people on the streets today. I really wanted to like this place especially because I purchased a new set and paid to remove my old set. It was really cute inside and they were very cordial and professional. But within 24 hours the lashes started falling out. I've worn lashes for years so I knew not to get them wet etc and still quite a few of them fell out within 24 hours and then the others followed a few daily. Also even with brushing them they still seems to gather and bunch up which made them look like strip lashes. Receptionist is very nice and friendly, I was running a few minutes late and she was nice enough to understand and accommodate. The location is very pretty and modern! Pro: I messaged them through Yelp and they replied within minutes and booked my appointment the next day awesome. The receptionist was super sweet she made me feel comfortable especially since it was my first time. The facility was super nice and clean. I've been a client at Lucy's Lashes in Huntington Beach and I'm so happy that they now added a location near my home. Today's my first time at Diva's Lashes and I'm very impressed with Jade, the lash tech who assisted me this morning. She was not only very fast (lash removal + crown full volume) only took 1.5 hours! I've gone there 3 times and every single time I left unhappy for one reason or another. Very disorganized here but I really wanted to like this place bc of their awesome reviews so I kept trying thinking maybe they were having off days. Went today and they asked me to leave and come back later they scheduled me incorrectly when they were fully booked (it's a 35 min drive for me :/) when I finally went back they gave me the wrong lash length bc the technician didn't update my portfolio the last time we modified it. Also it was not as full as they usually do it and when I asked the tech if I could add more she just looked at me silently confused . Anyway my eyes were unusually really irritated so I decided to cut my losses. Not to mention they've over charged me twice and I only noticed the second time (it was too late to say anything about the first one when I noticed). I absolutely love this place!! I've been twice and thought I submitted a review previously but looks like yelp was having technical issues. However, this is my second time and Lila who did my lashes both time literally takes her time (about 1 1/2). I never feel rushed and love the way my lashes look every time. She is through, diligent and extremely professional. Actually all the staff here are professional, the facility is so clean and relaxing. They have beverages available, clean restrooms, soothing music. The last time I got my lashes done was in October and I'm embraced to say I just went in today but I actually still had lashes on!!!! That's how good she is. I think she puts lashes on each and everyone of mine!!!! They look so natural. For the consultation it's in a private room on the computer so you can see the lashes closer, you can feel and pick which type of lashes you want. I've been to another place in Buena Park which I stopped going to because my lashes weren't lasting that long and I felt rushed. With my lashes at divas none of my own lashes fell out or came out with the fake lashes they simply grew out. I wish I had taken a picture of the grow out but trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. You will definitely feel that they were customized for you. I personally like a more natural but emphasized look which she is able to give me but. But the job was so well done my 6 year old noticed lol.
