Just had my 1st experience using my new carwash membership at Luv Town Center & it was not a good experience. I purchased my membership online (yesterday around 8:30am) & I'm going to suggest you do NOT do the same. I arrived shortly after 8am opening today & my license plate wasn't recognized. The 1st employee I interacted with informed me I had to give the system 24h to register my subscription. I was less than 30m early for the 24h mark. He said I could park up front & wait or come back. I decided to run an errand and come back. I arrived back around 10am. My license plate still was not recognized. The 2nd employee attempted to bring my membership up on the screen but it still wasn't showing as active even though I am able to bring it up on the webpage showing as Active. He did not want to let me in & only begrudgingly did so after I pointed out this would be the second time I was being turned away despite having a paid membership. If my future trips include issues like this, I will be cancelling my membership & going elsewhere. read more

Decide to give this place a try since I was desperate to get my car washed before leaving town for my vacation so it was my last resort honestly. Although the service that was done to my car was great but the employee that guides the car needs to stay on point to be able to navigate the drivers if they are in line with the belt. I HATE the fact that the vacuum you had to do it wasn't optional to do vacuum which suck. This made my trip later than it needed to be because I couldn't leave the car wash as another vehicle was in front of me taking their time to do their car this wouldn't of been an issue if the vacuum weren't line up. read more

I had a couple "meh" experiences here where I didn't feel like I was getting the value, but a final try that felt scammy has ended my visits here. It was disappointing, first off, to see that you have to do your own bug pre-wash -- and honestly feels a bit dangerous asking you to hop out of your car on the side of the entry road and get to work. I also have found this location leaves more streaks and dirty spots than other car washes; however, the price is seemingly on the higher end of these washes from what I've seen in Jacksonville and even elsewhere. But the final straw was when I explicitly and repeatedly told the person working at the payment kiosk that I wanted a one-time wash. I then watched them press a subscription option on the screen while speaking to me as if I were getting a one-time wash. Had I not been paying close attention, I'd have been signed up for a $40/month plan without realizing it. That's unacceptable in my book. read more

Scrubbles is dead and this is now a Luv brand car wash. I came a week ago after driving several hundred miles during the holidays. My car wasn't to dirty but it wasn't that great. I wanted to get their best car wash and it was such a let down. My visit during the work day and not during lunch was the first time I had seen a long line at this place. I have gotten dozens of washes here before and never had a bad line. Perhaps they got rid of employees or they changed their process. Either way the wait was bad. They no longer have someone with a mop that cleans the front and back of your car. That means the bugs that you generally have on the front of your car are going to stay there. I saw no difference in the most expensive car wash as opposed to the cheapest car wash. Spacing between cars going through the wash was way too close. Do you know the last thing you need during a car wash in the tunnel? An accident with another car. I don't know if their new employees couldn't space but I was told to follow at an unsafe distance and the car behind me was basically trying to impregnate my vehicle...without consent. Conveniently located car wash at St. John's Town Center, right behind the Wawa off Gate Pkwy. At $22 for a premium wash, I have had much better. I was left finishing the job myself as I could see the streaks all up/down my vehicle from their scrubbers. What areas it did contact were cleaned pretty well but it missed a lot of places. Vacuums, cleaning spray and towels are available after your wash. If you're a "member" it appears you get other perks like compressed air to assist in cleaning your car. For an automatic wash it does an OK job, but I don't know that I will be back to this one. read more

The car wash is inconsistent. It almost never dries my vehicle. Almost always leaves soap on the vehicle. On a couple of occasions I have had to go through a second time. But the biggest complaint is dealing with management. Everything is not their fault and all your fault. Make sure you read the kiosk before you press the accept button. If you have a problem with them document every phone call email or conversation. Their customer service is terrible. But when you have a chat with their Al, it actually demonstrates empathy. Whereas the humans there exhibit no brains or compassion whatsoever. Im glad to be done with dealing with them. Buyer beware!!! read more

Going to Luv is great for a quick wash and vacuum. The manager is the most personable, helpful and accommodating than i've seen in any service position in a long time. You won't have a bad experience if he's around - making sure everyone is satisfied. i had previously purchased the special for two months at $9.99 and canceled in time so i wasn't charged anything additional. I was curious and asked if I could sign up for the special again even though i already did it and the manager said absolutely and would have loved to help me set it up but i had already purchased my wash for the day and didn't want to be charged double. He understood, gave me his card so he could make sure i get set up right and for my "trouble" (was really no problem), he gave me a coupon for a free top tier wash. I was impressed with his service. I only wish they had tire shine available still but due to theft, they couldn't keep it available. It'll come with the higher tier washes next time... read more

I would defiantly recommend this business! I wanted to go to Car Spa to get my backseat shampooed but the woman said with thirty minutes to spare before close, they couldn't do what they needed to do. So I looked up this place which I thought was only the drive thru wash ,It actually has vacuum included with the $5 happy hour price wash. It was after 5pm but that option was still available. After my wash, there was also a mat cleaning unit for your car mats. Cleaning dash spray and clothed disposal towels after you vacuum yourself. The suction was amazing. Was in Jacksonville this past week on business staying nearby at the Hyatt House. Decided to get my truck washed (White, 2020 Ford F-150 Lariat Super-Crew) washed here. I chose the $25 super premium deal or whatever it's called. Never expect these kinds of washes to be perfect; but one this was terrible. The first time through - something black dripped all over the side of the left rear bed over the back tire area. I asked for a re-wash, which did git rid of the black mess. But it took easily 15 minutes for the guys to find a manger to set it up for me to go through again. Even though the two guys did a bit of pre-wash using brushes, the wheels looked like they'd barely been touched. As we're all the areas around the door handles. There was still a lot of dirt/grime on the hood, top, and tailgate. Fortunately they had some "drying towels" and I was able to get a lot of this off. Although that took 30 minutes and I was in a hurry to meet some clients so had to stop sooner. The free vacuums worked well. Unfortunately I only got to barely use them as by now I was running out of time. They also had a nice area to wash rubber mats (although they need to put down a lot of gravel here as the surrounding area was very muddy) Would definitely not go back here again. We have a car wash near us at a Spinx in SC that uses a similar system and it gets my truck much cleaner. read more

I will give this car wash a 5-star review. The staff does seem to care, and the manager was really nice and wanted to make me happy. My only complaint is that they sometimes close sooner than 8PM (7:30PM, 7:35PM, 7:20 PM). I am commercial rideshare driver and I plan my routes based on when I can get to work. I usually stop at the carwash on my way out to have my car in it's best condition. It's a bit annoying to show up at one of those times above and you're closed. I'm sure it affects me more than others since I drive at night. read more

I emailed them that day trying to cancel my subscription and get a refund but instead they falsely logged my license plate and refused to refund me. I had not used their service in weeks and suddenly I use it after I try and cancel it yeah right. I am given no choice but to report to the better business bureau and the Florida attorney general. I went to this car wash while visiting family at the beginning of 2024 and have apparently been paying $40 a month since then because the attendant signed me up for a membership when I only wanted a single wash. I do not even live in Jacksonville or anywhere near any other Luv locations so I would never have signed up for this. This place is great and cost-effective way to get your car washed! We opted in for the $15 deluxe package which got us a 3 minute wash and then access to the port where you can vacuum, clean your mats (cloth and plastic), spray windex on your windows and then wipe them down with paper towels provided (unlimited access). Other places we're familiar with will charge additional for these amenities and place a time constraint on them. I'm docking a star because none of the customer-facing workers smiled once. My fiancé and I went twice on the same day within a couple hours of each other and it was clear that the workers were there to do their jobs but weren't coached to smile and make eye contact with customers. read more

I have felt guilty for not getting my car washed for months on end! Dirty cars - inside and out - are never fun to drive. SOOO it was time to find a place I could finally get the job done without getting my pretty little hands dirty! Well, not all true on that one. Google Maps came through for me as I happened to be near St. John's Town Center, and up pops Scubbles! I drove by and notices it's right next to Wawa. It looked pretty full service so I gave it a whirl! Their are three lanes upon which to enter and choosing your car wash is fully automated. It was my first time here so I was a semi-clod through the process. I looked at the pricing from around $10 - $30 and a couple of more in between. I wanted an under-wash and the nearest price on that one was $20. This was not the full service version as you have to pay the premium price to get the employee ambush on your vehicle. I didn't need that. My black car was brown for months and, once again, my experience of entering wash zone itself became an adventure. It seemed my car didn't want to go in as it kept putting itself into reverse instead of neutral and onto the conveyor! Well, the problem was me, of course, but rolling along the track I saw that the washing and drying mechanisms were superb in performance and my car was cleaned to my full satisfaction. After this, it was time to take care of the interior. There are large powerful vacuums on the side of the building and they easily pick up the dirt and small stones you've collected. I had many of them! The vacuum is so powerful that if you don't angle it, it will stick to the floor as well. My only sort of beef with Scrubbles is the high price for a full wash. I've been able, in other states, to get the same wash for $10 or a little less. However, I will say in their favor that their service is excellent and your car will be shiny clean when it comes out of the scrubber! My second beef is, well, this one is beyond Scrubbles's control - it rained on my car the next day!!! Bummer! Can't do much about that! However, I do like Scrubbles and do plan to visit again - and not wait a year to clean my vehicle next time! My car was cleaned, but also damaged. I enjoy this carwash as it is quick. I payed the price for a quick interior vacuum in my brand new 2021 Subaru Crosstrek on Sunday 8/29. Two of my four doors were scratched on the interior in their cleaning process. They are minor scratches, but I am a teacher who worked hard for a brand new car. It may as well be horrible damage. Management had me write down all of my contact information and took photos, stating that they would call me by Tuesday 8/31 regarding repairs. It is now 9/3 and I still have yet to receive a call or email. Also, when I originally informed employees of the scratch, they laughed and stated "what do you expect us to do? It's a scratch. This has to be one of the worst car washes I've ever been to. I do not have unrealistic expectations from public car washes, but I do expect them to provide a proper wash when purchasing more than a basic wash. On both visits to this car wash my car was still dirty; the first time I bought the $15 wash, the second time I purchased the $20 wash. My car was not unusually dirty. Also, my car has a full clear body wrap with SolarTec wrap on it, so it doesn't require much effort to make it clean. The fact that this car wash couldn't get my well-maintained car clean even on an upgraded wash was ridiculous. I read the numerous reviews on Yelp after my second visit and saw way too many negative comments. I usually take negative reviews with a grain of salt, but in this instance I think they're justified. read more

I have been a monthly member for a while now. I used to always go to the Atlantic Blvd. location but since move closer to this location I have only been handful of times. Every time I go through the wash I find myself having to always clean the remaining soap off the back of my car. Last time I went the air was not working to be able blow off the excessive amount soap and water that was remain on the back of my car. I will gladly drive back to the Atlantic Blvd. location to have a longer wash with more rinsing opportunities. This location is a quick wash I think it should be looked at to either add more rinse or limit what is offered at a smaller location that doesn't provide the same tunnel length. This issue has also happened to me at the one near Jax beach. read more

Scrubbles has been my go-to car wash for sometime now. I usually get the extreme wash that includes interior detailing as well. The pricing is pretty decent for what you get. $35 currently gets you an automated car wash and interior detailing. They wipe down all surfaces interior and exterior, vacuum, clean your mats, do a tire shine, and spray a car freshener of your choice. Check this place out! Wrote a 5 star review the 1st time I visited this carwash almost 2 years ago. Today I'm writing a 1 star review. How time and lack of mgmt impact a business. Paid $20 for an exterior only wash but the SUV rear wipper came out facing downward. The manager said that the video show it was that way. When I saw the video, the tip was just below the rear windshield, not fully vertical facing the floor. The manager said that's not supposed to be that way and is the same as fully downward. In addition, all wheels rims were dirty. Manager offered a rag for me to manually clean it or go thru the machine again. Same machine that almost ripped off my wipers. No thank you. Congrats! I thought I was going in for a one time car wash little did I know they signed me up for a premier package $39 a month auto payment because they have my card on file when u go thru u need to give them your CC info, I thought this could be a mistake/misunderstanding by the sales rep but this is what they do they tell you there's a big promo sale for the wash and when you agree to do it, they sign you up for a membership when I never agree to sign up and I spoke to a friend of mine and apparently this happened to her a week ago, she didn't speak to anyone she just used the machine chose the basic wash and her card was getting deducted every month she thought someone stole her CC info so we both had to cancel all our cards, huge inconvenience and stress! I've been washing my car here since I moved to Florida last year. While I love the some of the things they offer, they could improve on a few things; they never get all the bug guts off the front on my car. I thought the whole purpose of the guys using the scrub brush was to help remove that stuff? Two, the buffer at the end has only worked two times since I've been going there. So is it supposed to be down? Or is it just for decorations? And while I know the higher price is probably due to location, I had the same services at another location and they actually had as crew that hand dried your car at the end for ten dollars less a month.
