Decided to give this place a second chance... They were really busy and it was a Saturday so I'm not surprised. I got checked in pretty fast and got seated within 20 minutes of getting the chair ready for me. I had Cammy do my pedicure in which she did a FANTASTIC JOB! The place was clean as usual and the hooks behind the massage chairs were definitely convenient to place my purse on. I received the 'Whole Lotta Luv Pedicure" in which the massage part of the package was put to a minimum and very light massage. It was definitely relaxing but I was expecting a little more from it than a 5 minute rub my calves and feet with the scrub and lotion ordeal. The scrubs and the lotions smell absolutely amazing which put me in a good mood. They do accept walk ins at this place but they will always take the appointments before they take a walk-in, so you never know how long you will have to wait. (So I would suggest you to make an appointment unless you have hours to waste...) I love their selection of OPI nail polishes and they do have shellac available as well, but I did not get it this time around. I would also suggest that this place needs to have their workers continue to work on their "French Nail" skills because this is the second time I came here seeing that they are not as cleanly shaped as I would expect a french design to look. I was definitely upset my first time coming here but after my experience with Cammy, I will definitely be coming back (only to her of course). read more

We came to Luv for girls time! I will say the ladies were very nice, as was the salon....but it stops there. I was apprehensive to get a gel manicure, seeing the price was $11 more ($38) than my normal salon, but went ahead anyhow. It is a week later and I'm missing more than half my polish!! They started to bubble after the 3rd day, which is not the norm at all for a gel manicure! (I get up to 3 weeks at my normal salon). Another issue I have is that two of us asked from the gel manicures and she received a totally rushed service. Basically no manicure and no hand massage. I'm sorry, but when you are told one thing about the service you will receive and you don't get it, it's not right. We definitely won't be back. read more

I like my nail care to be cheap. I don't need hot towels and callous shaving. Just give me quality polish, good painting skills, and a massage chair. This place is a no fuss establishment. Walk in, get your service, leave. Don't expect perfumed hallways and rose tea refreshments. I LIKE IT. Ok so I got a gel pedicure. The application on my big toe is a little lumpy. Went there yesterday as my friend and my mother both told me about an advertised $30 mani/pedi package. I needed a pedi for a wedding this weekend, so I figured what the heck. The salon was very nice and clean, and very nicely decorated. The sign said walk-ins welcome and they did fit me in. That being said, the receptionist made me fell somewhat awkward for not having an appointment. Felt like I did something I shouldn't have and got my wrist slapped. Now on to the mani/pedi -- Seems like a bait and switch to me. You come in for the "classic" mani/pedi ($30) which is what they advertise and realize once you sit down this is little more than a color change. No time is spent on callouses, no sugar scrub, no leg massage -- isn't that what a pedicure is? Every other place I've had a pedicure at has included all of this. Of course, for $12 more dollars you can now upgrade to an actual mani/pedi package where they take care of these things. My tech was OK. Weird that they all wear these crappy tee shirts as a uniform though. All in all, I'd rather go to the Vietnamese place for the same price ($42) and get a much better pedi/mani. read more

I think this place is great. I've gone back 5 times. It is super clean, very fancy, and all the techs I've had have been really nice! Stephanie D is my favorite, but I've had great service from everyone! I previously rated this Luv an appropriate 1 star. Sometime after the new manager reached out to invite me give them another try, which I did. This is an updated review. The lady at reception was much friendlier than the previous receptionist was. Sam, the nail technician who provided the pedicure and manicure did a very nice job. They seemed to be making a concerted effort to communicate clearly and provide good customer service. I wasn't blown away, but I have zero complaints, and will even bump up a star because Sam provided a very nice lotion massage that was certainly above average for a lower priced package. This Luv location is great. If you're looking for a good pedicure with a friendly, attentive staff, this is the place. I had previously written a review for the Luv Nails in N. Olmsted. It was a terrible experience and I really didn't think I would ever go back. After reading my review, someone from the corporate office got in touch. She was very helpful and offered another service of my choosing at either the Parma or N. Olmsted location. This time I chose Parma, partly because of the better ratings on Yelp and also because I wasn't excited about going back to the N. Olmsted location. The nail tech was very nice and really knew what she was doing. What a difference. She was definitely more experienced and took the time to make sure my toes were perfect. This is a local nail salon that I have been to for pedicures before. On Sunday which was mother's day came for a girls day with my mother, grandmother and some family friends. We were all booked together but only three of us recieved our pedicures while the other two just sat and watched when we were done getting our pedicures they began having theirs. So, so much for spending the time together. We were finished with both pedicures and manicures when they were starting their manicures. So okay fine its mothers day I'm sure a busy day. But less then 24hrs and my nails began chipping and the top coat did not cover every nail making them look very uneven and sloppy. I called and they fit me in when I wanted which was nice. Here is the problem I paid for a pedicure and manicure of the same color upon returning I did not want the same nail polish because it had already chipped. I'm going out of town and if it chips like it did I would have no way to fix it. So I picked a different color the lady who helped me stated that I could only have my finger nails painted not my toes due to the chipping. I explained that I prefer to have them the same color and she insisted she would have to charge me to change the color on my feet. So I paid for a service which included the same color on my fingers and toes, their product was faulty did not last for 24hrs but I should have to additionally pay to get the same color on my toes when I already paid for the service? This is unfortunate as it is close to my house and the people are nice but if I'm not going to get quality I will not return. I would not recommend coming here. read more

My husband took me here on my birthday for a pedi -- and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here, as I'd had terrible experiences at another LUV location and sworn off the place. My pedicure was relaxing and nonrushed... great scrub, hot towel soak, heel buffing, and a neat application of the nail polish. Massage chair was OK, the venue was clean, and my attendant was polite. My only complaints would be that they didn't address my ingrowns (TMI??) when trimming my nails like other salons I go to, and their polish color selection is lacking. If you're looking for a high-end, fancy pedi experience -- this isn't quite the place. But for a relaxing, affordable pedi, go for it! read more

-got acrylics done by "angee" who seemed to be a very nice girl and stayed open late in order to do my acrylics (wednesday) and even though they were hideous and not centered on my nail i gave her a very nice tip. -i got my nails done here for prom and on (saturday) prom MY NAILS POPPED OFF MY RIGHT HAND. Not broke. I just peeled them off my nail like they were the cheap store brand and seeing as i paid 30 for them i was mad to have have only half my set left. -i went there on saturday and they fixed my hand (still doing a bad job) and i saw Angee as i sat and waited for her to apologize for giving me shitty nails, she walked by as if she never met me. Huh. -the day later (sunday) ALL THE NAILS ON MY LEFT HAND POPPED OFF. I was so flustered that when i got home (wednesday) i called and talked to angee who put me on hold and had me talk to someone else to get my nails repaired (thursday). -today is thursday and they called me twice while i was in school and i called them afterwards. They told me the woman was unable to do it today and i would have to wait till monday...i'm missing one hand of nails....seriously? Then they gave me two options for tomorrow which didn't work for me and the woman speaking got bitchy and said "well then what you like to do" in a way no employee should speak to a customer. I then told her that my experience with them was miserable and that i'd rather pay to get my nails done somewhere else. I highly recommend that you do not go to the LUV on Snow Road in Parma Ohio!! They are rip off artist... Not manicurist! No one knows what prices are when you call. When you show up for your appointment, you get charged more.... MUCH MORE! They charge you for EVERYTHING!!! I'm shocked they don't charge you for the air you breathe in there. When you call them on it, to dispute it, they then add other expenses and are told, " you were told about that extra." The manager even hung up on me! DONT GO!!!! Find somewhere better! My experience was definitely not what I expected. Here are the pros and cons... Pros: Pretty Décor - New renovation w/plush pillows, waterfalls & no toxic nail polish fumes. Clean - The place was nearly empty so maybe this explains the clean conditions - no one was making a mess bc no one was there. Spacious - Lots of stations w/new chairs, tables and pedi spas. Price - $22 for the basic "Classic" express pedi. Technique - My technician did a good job but took forever (over an hour for the most basic pedi). Cons: Availability - They don't really like walk ins and claim not to have many openings. Call ahead if you want an appt. Technique/Customer Service - The nail technicians didn't seem very attentive or experienced. They chatted with amongst themselves and addressed their own nail issues while I sat in the chair. Timing - When I called for my appt. they said they could "fit you [me] in" for their "Classic" (aka express) pedi. Just to be safe, I arrived 5min early. I checked-in on their check-in computer and then sat on a plush couch and waited. And waited. And waited. 30 min after my appt. time they finally called my name. Kinda ridiculous bc the place was nearly empty - only two other clients were there when I arrived. Altogether the nearly 2 hr. appt. was the longest "express" pedi I've ever received. You get what you pay for... I thought I'd go into this nail salon because I heard the radio advertisement for the $30 mani/pedi. Pros: The pedicure was fine. It was basically just a foot massage and paint. The decor of the place was nice and inviting. Cons: My manicure was the worst I've ever gotten in my life. The cuticles were cut unevenly and I am very disappointed. I feel like the technician may have been new but that is inexcusable. We had to wait about a half hour before we were taken in because we didn't have an appointment. Overall, it really is hit or miss. It seems like some people really have a great experience but if you're stuck with a technician who doesn't know what she is doing, you're not going to be happy. read more

On a Friday morning around 11am I figured I'd check this place out. Since they promote walk-ins I assumed I could easily be able to walk in on a week day and get a pedicure. A pedicure which I so badly wanted/needed at 9 months pregnant. I walked in and the receptionist had her head laying on the desk and didn't even bother to lift when I asked for a pedicure. She said they were all booked for the day. Really?! There was one customer and one staff member besides the lazy receptionist. I went here today for the first time to get a classic manicure. I had made an appointment a few days ahead of time and it seemed like there were plenty of openings on the schedule. Nice sized waiting area with lots of comfy chairs and a couch. Lots of different polish to choose from. My nail technician did a good job and was friendly but not very talkative. The environment at Luv was not very relaxing - music playing loudly, plus tvs near the manicure area and nail drying area. I prefer a more peaceful and relaxed environment when I am getting a manicure or pedicure. Otherwise I like the place and the price I paid was a bit lower than what other places charge, so I'm sure I'll be back again! read more

Luv is the worst, and I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here to get your nails done. Honestly if I was able to give this place no stars, I would. My sister-in-law recommended Luv for some pre-wedding pampering I was planning as a MoH. She said that it was pretty inside and that she had seen other bridal parties here before. So, I called to make a reservation for five and was told they needed a $100 deposit that I would be able to apply to any services on the day of the reservation. That seemed pretty steep, but I didn't know where else to go, so I made the reservation and paid the deposit. I was told that I could change services, but they needed to know in advance about acrylics. None of us wanted acrylics, so that didn't seem to be a problem. The week of the wedding, two of the bride's nails broke, and she ended up wanting acrylics. I called the salon that morning as soon as they opened and no one answered the phone. I ended up having to call for about two hours before I finally got someone on the phone. When I explained the situation, they informed me there was no way that they could do acrylics, even though I was letting them know well ahead of the time of our appointment. They said they didn't have any there they could even do acrylics. I've never heard of this before unless a salon just doesn't offer acrylic services. They weren't apologetic, and they wouldn't give me my deposit back even though conditions had changed. I found another awesome salon where the bride was able to get her nails done before everyone else. Needless to say, I was not thrilled to give them my business, but they held my deposit, so we had no other choice. The two women working at the reception desk were extremely rude and seemed very disorganized. When I made the reservation, I had asked if there was table to set up some wine, and they said yes. The table was the community coffee table in the waiting area where other customers were sitting. Thanks for that. Then way the place is set up, the mother of the bride was only getting her nails done, and she was taken into the far back depths of the place, so we couldn't even see her or talk to her. So much for a bonding experience. The way the place is sectioned off, there are only three chairs together, so if you go with more than two people, you won't be able to talk to them. I had planned a few tame bachelorette-type games to play, and one of the technicians wouldn't stop trying to talk to the bride's sister in law so that we could play and enjoy each other's company. When the nail technician did my gel manicure, she didn't soften my cuticles before cutting them, so it was really uncomfortable. She then turned the light all the way up, and it seemed like it was burning my nail beds, which was also incredibly uncomfortable. Midway through my manicure, another technician came over and started bothering her about using the light because she needed it. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The place has so many chairs, and there weren't many other customers, so I'm not sure why another light wasn't available. When I told the technician about the acrylics issue, she gave me some advice about making reservations that would probably go against company policy. But, I didn't need the advice because I definitely won't be back. Even after the acrylics fiasco and trying to have a nice time, this place seriously sucked. I would not recommend anyone go to Luv, and especially not for pre-wedding pampering. read more

Wow I thought this place was great! The other reviews surprise me. I got a gel pedicure. The tech helped me choose a color, because I'm always indecisive. She was really sweet and patient about it. I got a "mood" polish. It's so awesome. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxed compared to other places I've been. The massage chairs for the pedicures were amazing. The price wasn't bad for the service and everything. I know every tech is different but they all seemed nice. After a devastating closing of my nail shop I was in search of a new one. I randomly walked in one day for a shellac removal and manicure. And just yesterday I made a Sunday appointment for my 2nd manicure and 1st pedicure. Reasonably priced, polite, professional. I saw Cambria both times and she is so relaxing and takes her time and does a great job, it is a nice change of pace to the numbers game most places are running. I will def be going back. read more

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I've been here about 5 times for various services, and at each visit I am greeted with friendly, smiling faces. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and LINDA is awesome with gel/ shellac; possibly the only person whose ever done a set that last me 2 weeks! That being said, I am usually more than satisfied with my service, with the exception a gel nail set I got last Saturday. I reluctantly agreed to schedule with a newer stylist, and since I needed them done that day and Linda was unavailable, I decided to give her a try. The finished product was beautiful but I began noticing a little lifting and 2 chipped nails 4 days later. I returned to have the nails repaired, but the nail stylist LINDA, who always does a great job, decided it'd be best to do the full set over. The manager gave this service to me on the house for my troubles which came as a complete surprise. Bottom line, you want excellent customer service this is the place! For gel/ shellac, I highly recommend LINDA! She's kind, and truly loves what she does! read more

I had damaged a natural nail so deep that the cut went down to where the nail joins the skin. I stopped in at Luv Salon, looking to have a tech either do a linen wrap or glue the nail piece back down. The girl at the front desk looked at it, and emphatically said that she would just leave it alone and let it grow out rather than do either of those things to it. I'm not a "nail salon" kinda person, so I was only going on the advice of friends.....but it turned out just fine! That nail few amazingly fast, I kept it bandaged till the damaged nail portion was ready to fall off (about 8 days after hurting it) and the whole nail looks normal! So THANK YOU, Luv Salon, for your good advice! You could have taken my $ and done something to it....but your protocol to just let it be ended up being the perfect solution to my problem! I highly recommend this place simply because they were HONEST with me. read more

I decided to try this place out after hearing about it on the radio. This was absolutely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I got a gel manicure done. While attending to my cuticles the tech picked away at them with my hands completely dry- it was so painful! When putting the gel polish on my nails she had me in the most uncomfortable arm position ever and would kind of yell at me if my hands got too tense- they were tense because I was in pain. I was a walk in and had to make an appointment for a few hours later, even though the salon was just about empty. Not a big deal. The place was VERY clean and very modern. I wanted a mani/ pedi and just as the other reviews mention, the basic package is literally a polish change for the same price it would be for the actual full service elsewhere. My tech was extremely nice and friendly but seemed too inexperienced for the price you pay here. When I asked to upgrade to the next step up pedicure my tech was happy to change it, whereas the receptionist made me feel as if I was putting her out. Overall, I felt rushed and not welcome. And furthermore if a client says its their first time at the salon you should be explaining how the services work when the appointment is made. All in all I will not be coming back here unless I want to pay for a solid color polish change. It is way too expensive for the service you receive. read more

I was in need a fill on a Sunday, with active teenagers I am not always available on Saturdays and I work so weekdays are pretty much out of the question. I went up to the salon and the sign said walk-ins welcome.....NOT! I was treated like I was crazy for even coming in. I made an appointment, not sure why, for the following Tuesday evening....I told them I could not be there before 6:15 and they said that would be fine. The fill took almost 2 hours and they were closing the shop, running vacuums before I left.....while I was in the dryer the receptionist came up and asked me if I would be paying with cash or credit and looked upset when I said cash because she would have to keep cash drawer out. The fill itself was OK, but the french manicure was not straight and was a bit sloppy. read more

Went to this salon for the first time on July 2, 2016 around noon. The salon is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The young lady who did my pedicure was very nice and welcoming. She did a great job with the massage portion of the pedicure but I had to tell her twice fully remove the old Polish from my toes. After the service was complete, I sat under the nail dryer for approximately 20 minutes and went about my day. Later that evening I noticed the Polish had peeled off in layers on my toes. I was horrified as I was out at an event, it looked terrible. That has never happened to me before and I get pedicures frequently. I wish I would have read the reviews before I went to this salon. Horrible experience. Received a fill with gel polish. Within 30 minutes of leaving the polish was bubbling and peeling. By nights end I had to file off each coat of every nail and repaint my self. I was the last appointment of the day, so maybe steps were cur out so the tech could go home. And to top it off...it cost me $57!!! What a rip off! Leaving on a morning flight and no time to go back to have them fix...nor would I want them too. Will definitely never go back or recommend. read more

The decor is really nice and calming and do love their color selection. My technician was Sam and she was wonderful! She really took her time and made sure she was doing them right and my nails look wonderful! I did however have sticker shock upon checking out as it was $80! But I will definitely go back to Sam when I need them re done :) read more

I am not going to lie I've been here multiple times for a pedicure and if that's what you're headed to this location for then go right ahead. You won't be disappointed. My toes looked great and I felt relaxed and refreshed. However, I went back a week or so later to get my eyebrows and lip waxed and well... my reaction to that certainly was not the same as my pedicure. I asked for a "touch up" on my eyebrows. Mind you my brows are THICK and I never have to fill them in or do anything to them, they have great shape and fullness. I just try to maintain the overgrowth with a wax and a trim to the extra long hairs. Usually when I try somewhere new to get them waxed the esthetician understands that I like to keep them bold but polished, but this time around that did not happen unfortunately. She waxed my eyebrows so thin and uneven I was embarrassed to go to work the next day. She not only waxed my brows unevenly but plucked them to DEATH. She was pulling out multiple hairs at a time. I came in my house after my appointment and my mom even said that I looked like a different person. Needless to say I won't be returning. You could go somewhere else for a much better price and experience. read more
